The best experience I have EVER had @ a hair salon. I felt so important, they go out of their way to please you. The environment was awesome! The people were amazing! Justin did my hair and I LOVE it!!! More than any other experience I've ever had! He also explained everything he was doing. They all care! Will go back EVERY time I need hair assistance! I don’t usually post reviews but this salon really changed my mind. The usual salon I go to was closed yesterday, so I mapped places around me and this one popped up. I thought I would give it a try since I didn’t have an appointment. I walked in and was greeted by a really nice gal who gave me something to drink. I probably only waited 2-3 minutes before Justin came to greet me. I told them it was my first time, so I got a really neat tour around the salon. Justin was super nice and did an exceptional job cutting my hair. It turned out way better than I hoped, and Justin made sure the whole time that it was what I wanted by asking questions and giving me tips. At the end, I was shown cool products and TWO different hairstyles I could do with my new hair. YOU EVEN GET A NICE HEAD, NECK, AND SHOULDER MASSAGE FOR FREE! It was absolutely needed for me to have a “me” day, and they sure did help me out with that. They even do complimentary keratin treatments. I definitely recommend this place because I sure won’t be returning to my old stylist who I’ve been going to for nearly 8 years, and I was in and out in about an hour. All my friends know of this place now.

I walked in at 3pm on a Tuesday with a badly done, faded and grown out at-home bleach and dye job. I had no appointment. I walked out at 7pm with a full highlight and beautiful color. Savannah was so helpful and kind. I didn't feel at all judged for the things I'd done to my hair. I have received so many compliments in the past day and my hair feels so soft. I am so happy with my hair now! Thank you Savannah!

I was referred by a friend here in a hair emergency situation...lol...needless to say they were only 10 mins away from work(plus), I showed up and had just a freaking AWESOME stylist get a hold of me. I left there not only over joyed with my hair but a sense of happiness knowing I have found my place! Thank you Justin!!! You are incredible! :)

This salon is friggin awesome! Probably the best I've ever been to in Oklahoma, actually the best anywhere! I called and got an appointment for the next day. They gave me a tour of the salon, went next door to get me a gourmet flavored iced tea and My stylists name is Stormi & she's great. Friendly and sweet and this lady can do some hair! She hooked it up and my hair looks so beautiful!!! The other really cool thing they do at this place is when u go to get shampooed they lay you back in the chair and your stylist gives you a shoulder/neck/head massage for like 10 minutes... All this and their prices are Not unreasonable. I will be a return client for sure-Ive found my new regular hair spot .

They have terrible scheduling and customer service. I have been twice and had to leave because they are running over an hour behind and I had made an appointment. The staff is very rude and unhelpful. You can not "walk in" as the name states, you have to schedule and then that doesn't even mean anything. People and their time matter and when you are an hour behind and the customer has to ask how much longer they will be waiting, you show disrespect. You need change your name and learn how to manage your staff and appointments better.

I have been twice. Both times I was in the salon for a very long time. I only ever get a trim and a color. The first time was an all over color so I chalked it up to that since I have long hair. The last time was basically roots only and a trim. It took 4 hours and every stylist in the salon touched my hair between shampooing and rinsing, a leave in treatment that I didn't ask for (I had it done the first visit so it was assumed that I wanted it the 2nd visit as well. Though, they did not charge me for that. I am guessing because I was there for 4 hours) blow drying (3 different people took turns doing that) and straightening my hair. My stylist was assigned to a bunch of walk in's I guess and fell behind. No one acknowledged this or apologized. My time is valuable and root touch up, shampoo, conditioning and simple styling should not have taken 4 hours. I will say that it is a fun salon with great music. The dark shampoo room is nice and each service comes with a shoulder massage if you would like. I was also pleased with my color both visits, but not my cut on the 2nd. My layers are choppy and too short for the rest of my hair.

This place is amazing if you are looking for a trendy millennial feel who are LGBT+ friendly. Most of the staff are in their mid-20s but are no amateurs by any means. Caution though, they can raise the price without warning and will always try to sell you something they used in your hair so be sure to state if you are allergic to anything like coconut, mint, lavender, ect.

I ran in for a quick cut with Evelyn after work. With maybe 10 minutes notice, she was able to have me out in less than an hour with a great haircut for a really reasonable price. Cool space and nice friendly people!

I had an appointment set, come in on time. I was told it would be just a few. 25 minutes later I start asking questions. The person who was scheduled to cut my hair was half way done with a dye job and it would be another hour. No communication, no one offered to help or resolve this problem. Atrocious customer service.

I never leave reviews. Ever. But I currently have my worst haircut ever. They forgot my appointment. I waited for 40ish min. showed *multiple* pics of what I wanted, gave the dude the length I wanted and even had to tell him to PLEASE stop cutting at one point because of how ridiculously short he made it. Its a good cut, don't get me wrong. But not at ALL what I wanted. Hopefully it works out better for you!

Let me say first I did not have an issue with the stylist, Preston. That is the only reason I gave 2 stars over 1. He was personable and efficient in cutting my hair. This was my first (and last) time visiting this place. The reason I made the appointment is because the website lists haircuts as $20. I didn't need anything besides a trim, so I booked an appointment. I arrive at my scheduled time with only two stylists even around, and I waited about 35 minutes before they got to me. Then, once I was in the "wash house" the stylists came out the woodwork and the place was busy. The haircut itself is not the best or the worst, but again I wasn't chopping all my hair off or coloring it. My second issue comes with the price. Again, the website lists cuts as $20. Nothing about the price varying by stylist. The cost of my cut was $35, and their lowest cost is $25. They don't even have $20 cuts. I was told "the website is not up to date." Not to mention, I was not asked what level of stylist I would like, as I have at any other salon I've been to, especially as a first time customer.Though it is near my house and work, I would rather drive to other salons with better experiences.

They offer washing, conditioning and shoulder massage besides haircut and blow-dry, it was very reasonable price. Service was good too.

I've been going here for 4 years now. I love that you can schedule appointments or just walkin (which is how I first stumbled across this place). I've seen a few different stylists over the years and have had good experiences with them all. Most recently, I saw Evelyn and she was great! I absolutely loved the color she gave me - it's just beautiful! I will definitely go back to her next time I need a cut/color!

I received an amazing cut and bayalage by Preston at this location and I'm in love with it! I've had long hair all my life and Preston cut it short and added the perfect amount of color to my hair and I've never been so pleased. He even did a treatment on my hair that left my hair extremely soft and healthy. I drive 2 hours just to come here and get my hair done by Preston!

I love this place!!!!!! From cut to color, this is the best place I've gone. I like to sample places when I move to a new city and this was the first one I went to, and any other experience I had just never lived up to my experience here! So After a couple of less than happy results, I've been coming to Walk In for the last year. I love the staff, the customer service, the prices, the vibe, and the complementary tea. ;) My stylist is incredible and I've never left here unhappy. There is literally nowhere else that I will go to get my hair done again as long as I live in OKC. I recommended it to many friends, random people who compliment my awesome hair color, and I've even brought my BF's teenager and my boss. You truly get what you pay for, and I cannot recommend this place enough! I think no matter who you get, you're going to be in fantastic, capable hands -- And it's probably going to be someone who cares a lot that you're happy.

Loved my experience! I had Justin as my styleist the other day. I came in for more of a maintenance cut/trim for my short hair. He gave me styling tips and showed me how to do beach waves on the fly . Very professional all around! This place is very affordable and you get a full salon experience. Expect at 10 min neck and back massage after the hair wash--I think I melted away after that haha. It is a fun location, so after you get your hair done--go out for some tasty food from one of the restaurants next door and a cocktail at the bars! Cheers!

Evelyn does a great job, she has cut my hair twice now and I've enjoyed the experience both times. I'm not a huge fan of small talk and I never felt pressured to chat like I have at other places.

Just got done with my appointment with Justin at Walk In Salon on 23rd st and OMG. It was awesome! I got a shampoo, cut, style AND a head, neck and shoulder massage for only $35. (I almost fell asleep during the massage) Not to mention, learned SO much about my hair. Justin definitely knows his stuff. And all the staff are so nice! Loved it- will definitely be back!

They provide a top of the line professional service with great products that leave your hair looking and feeling wonderful for a fraction of the average salon in okc. I highly recommend this salon.

Ouch! Every time I go to this salon I somehow end up getting hurt. The last time I went here, the girl shampooing my hair yanked it so hard at the end that I suffered some hair loss at the crown of my head. My boyfriend and I have been coming to this salon for years and have watched it transform from steadily busy to now overrun and overbooked. My hair has progressively gotten less and less healthy as a result of coming here, and after this last time I doubt I will be back. The staff is very cool and nice, but they are stretched so thin that the quality of service has gone down a lot. If you require individualized attention or are tender-headed, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I cannot rave about this salon enough. They are more than accommodating for new customers and the overall atmosphere is incredible. Right off the bat they have you change into a robe and then you're off for a nice shampoo and condition and THEN comes the massage. Like holy crap a frickin massage? So then I get my hair cut. I gave her a vague idea of what I wanted and she just blew me out of the water. Here's the best part: simple haircut including the wash, condition, and massage?? 20 frickin dollars???? WHAT?? Guys seriously break up with your salon and come visit this one you won't regret it.
