I had my hair done by a girl name Tiffany and I asked for my hair to be cut under my breast and it was just a little under my shoulders! (My hair was down to my bottom) Not only that my hair was completely uneven and there was a huge chunk missing on the side of my face and she claims it is a “layer.” I had a balayage done also and I probably had one stop of a lighter brown in my hair. Spent a lot of money and could’ve got a better haircut from somewhere like great clips or Walmart.

I love that they always offer refreshments. Everyone is very skilled and knowledgeable and what they do. I wanted my hair colored but didn't know how much color I wanted, so my stylist, Andrea let me wear it for a week and then decide if I wanted to come back for more at no extra cost. I did end up going back and got a lot of color added. It looks great! Andrea also remembers me and past conversations every time, no matter how long its been.

I never write reviews online but I felt the need to warn others about my experience. I went in just to get my bangs trimmed and clearly explained what I wanted. The guy who cut my hair cut the bangs so short and cut in to my hair. It's 6 months later and I'm still trying to grow them out. What was most upsetting was that he didn't listen to me at all. I said I needed my bangs thinned and he made them REALLY thick. Every hair stylist I've been to since then has made comments like, "It looks like he was trying to give you a mullet." He cut hair all the way down by my ear. It looked like I had a side burn. Awful awful haircut...awful.

It took many (many) years and many munnies to finally find someone to color my hair the way I wanted it done. Hilary has given me the healthiest hair color I've ever had. She's awesome and very very good at what she does. She's knowledgeable and honest but also adventurous. Jerrod (Jared? Jerred? idk.) trimmed my hair and did great job. He recommended some amazing products and is formally trained. I just wanted a standard trim but I've seen him do some really cool styles for other, more adventurous people; including some of my friends. Everyone at the salon has been so kind and accommodating. Getting your hair colored and styled by professionals is a luxury purchase and you get what you pay for here. It's not outrageously priced. About the same as any other high-end salon. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my hair and I always recommend Trichology. Thanks guys!

Color is suppose to stay! I went to this salon in the beginning of August due to the great reviews. Tina did my hair + two sets of extensions with a dark brown all over coloring, no cut, and styled it ($100). I left that day sending a pic later that day to her that the color was not the same as the top of my head. It was more of red brown on the ends (not matching my extensions I brought). She said I could come back in, but I would have to pay an additional $40 for a mistake she made. I went ahead and paid it because who wants mismatched hair?! I then came back to her four months later as she had redeemed herself. She colored just my hair (no extensions) charging me $90. I was so confused as to why my natural hair no extensions would only be $10 cheaper than all three the first time I came. She said she had a "price raise", but neglected to inform me of this prior to me coming, sitting down, and getting it done. She ironically tells me after the coloring and is finished. How embarrassing and rude to not be informed and to be side slided like that. $90 no cut, just all over dark brown color! Then Christmas and NYE come by I had gotten it done this (Dec 18) and I was it three times after having gotten it done. It did it again! My hair is RED on the bottoms. I called to see what they could do. It was 2 weeks 6 days and the owner Tammy tells me they have another policy that was no where to be shown or spoken about that is only within two week will the fix it! She said "Idk why would want to come back if she messed it up again. We don't wanna keep having to do hair and it sounds like the first time we did you a favor." A favor is not fixing a mistake the hairstylist MADE that I then was CHARGED FOR. I'm coming back to her because, I spent $90 and in August she had redeemed herself. ABSOLUTELY NO costumer service and care. Did not offer any resolution, but just told me it is what it is. This is the OWNER on top of the receptionist having initially told me that they would take care of it promising to find someone to help and fix it. They don't follow through, ridiculous policies, and shabby work. The only person who was beyond helpful and kind was the receptionist. Never going back.

I am super fussy with my hair and am used to going to great salons in NYC and Boston. I had a couple of not so great hair experiences in OKC since I have moved here. I was almost resigned to going to Dallas to get my hair done, but booked an appointment for a color correction with TJ not knowing what to expect. I was blown away by how great of a job he did. He gave me beautiful beachy highlights that were slightly lighter on bottom but not exactly ombre and completely blended. I got a bunch of compliments on my hair that day!!! It's been a while since someone complimented me on my hair. I have also seen Travis for a cut - he is really good too!! So I'd highly recommend TJ and Travis. I am so glad I do not have to go all the way to Dallas for great hairdressers.

I have been to Trichology two times before and I have been pretty happy with the two previous times. However, recently, I called and requested a haircut with someone who has experience with thick and wavy hair. Analysha was my stylist and I told her that I wanted some bulk off my hair so she uses a tool to thin out my hair but I did not realize till after the cut that she thinned out my hair so much in the back of my head that it looks like my hair is missing. Also, she did a sloppy job. My layers sit strangely as well. I miss how my hair looked before I went into the hair salon. I've asked for my hair being a little thinned out with previous stylists and they've never thinned out my hair excessively or as sloppily as how Analysha did. Also, whenever she was styling my hair, she was rather aggressively with brushing my hair and styling so my scalp was also pretty sore the next day. Lastly, I do not think I ever left a hair salon with my hair partially wet but she did not go out of the way to make sure my hair was dry. Either way -- probably one of the worst haircuts I have had recently and I write this review because this is how awful I feel with her work.

Horrible experience, this salon felt like a learning facility over anything else. Most of the hair stylists had to basically get help from the manager at the end so that they can correct the hair style of the client. Including myself. After paying $165 for the "ombre", hair trim, and I was also there for 5 hours. My hair color at the end looked almost identical to what I had whenever I came into the store. Now I do agree that they do have great customer service but my experience was very unlucky. I would definitely not be coming back to this salon. It's literally a joke, a waste of time and money.

I made an appointment with Tj since I read such good reviews about him.I had high hopes for this place but the people there including Tj were pretty rude.There's places you go and you instantly get that welcoming/Comfortable feeling wich obviosly anyone would want to have when they're about to let these people have control over their appearance..this wasn't one of those places.The front desk girls sounded like they hated their job and didn't smile and tj gave me that fake bitchy attitude as soon as I told him what I wanted as if it was ridiculous/impossible.I ended up not getting my hair done here cause he told me what I was asking for wasn't going to get accomplished even though I offered to come in as many times as needed.He said it'd probably not even be as light as i wanted if I had 5 appointments.I went somewhere else and got it in 2 appointments with almost no damage and less than half the price and they made me feel welcome.

I tried this salon and I'm disappointed. I went in wanting my hair lightened all over and a trim. I was told that I could only do half my hair due to appointment time. I said ok, showed a picture of the blonde color I like and was told by the stylist "that's definitely achievable". I was there for nearly 3 hours, only had half my hair done (the color is NOT like the picture), and received a meh hair cut... AND paid $160 dollars!!! Whaaat? If I'm paying that kind of money I expect to get exactly what I ask for. I wouldn't return to this salon. My hair doesn't look terrible , it's just not what I wanted and it cost a fortune. The staff is very nice, but it doesn't mean you'll leave with good hair. Beware!

Go see Eric Gregory! He is a whiz and so sweet! They are pricey however, the service and care you get is definitely worth it. They are well educated on the trends and how to accommodate what you're looking for without crushing your hopes and dreams. For example, I came in with bleached hair that was uneven bc I wanted to save money rather than getting it done professionally. Anyway the goal was to have pastel colors peekaboo throughout the epic fail that was my hair. I love that while he wasn't able to deliver what I wanted, he was able to deliver confidence and reassurance that his route would be the safest for my hair. And he was right of course. And he helped me get where I needed to be so I could get my pastel color peekaboos. And while in the waiting period, my hair still looked awesome. No complaints whatsoever.

Do yourself a favor and get your hair done here!! I moved to the OKC area and have tried multiple salons with less than success. Admittedly, I'm very picky with my long brunette locks. I found some great reviews for TJ so took a chance, and I can't tell you how glad I am. I asked for balayage highlights and he hand painted my hair like Michelangelo!!

While the service provided was good, I found that the Saturday reception people to be very inattentive. I do not appreciate to be ignored, walked away from or asked if I would like water and then once again ignored. So note to the staff, if a customer walks in do not ignore and walk away from them, or skip them when they need to check in for their appointment. It's the little things that people remember. And if you are only wanting to treat pretentious white women, well you have succeeded as I will not return. I will seek services from another salon or just look into laser hair removal as has been suggested on each visit when I was there to get a wax.

Hi Everyone, I normally don't write a bad review on someone but in this case I feel compelled to share my experience. Please understand, I had two bad haircuts in less than a week. Andrea at Trichology was the person I chose to repair the first bad hair cut and also recolor the very ORANGE highlights I received. I am 63 years young and after dying my hair forever, I wanted to transition to my natural white. So, I decided to cut off my long hair into a stylish, trendy pixie cut like the actress, Jennifer Lawrence and put a few highlights in. I'm sure most of you are familiar with the cut. There are long layers on the top that are about 4 or 5 inches and the bangs are long and side-swept. There are also wispy sideburns that frame the face and the back tapers in just below the occipital bone with a wispy neckline. I brought in loads of pictures that showed the front, sides and back. I explained in detail exactly what I wanted. The first stylist, gave me a cut that was OK but there were a lot of disconnected areas and it needed to be thinned and texturized a bit more. She also highlighted it and the color was ORANGE. After that experience, I decided maybe what I needed was a more qualified hairstylist. I was told that Andrea went to a Vidal Sassoon Academy and could do great precision haircuts. So, I called the salon and booked an appointment with her. During the consultation, I let her know I did not want any length taken off on the top but rather requested it be reshaped, better blended and a bit more tapered below the occipital bone. I also requested she put a demi permanent color on the orange highlights. I told her "DO NOT" cut it any shorter on top because my hair is thick and if it is too short it will stick straight up. It just needed to be thinned, blended and texturized on top. Unfortunately, she didn't listen to what I said and ended up giving me a VERY, VERY short boy haircut. My bangs, which were to my eyebrows before she began, were cut to one inch. Yes, you heard me, ONE inch. On the top it was about 1 1/2 inch in length and in the back it was about 1/8 inch below my occipital bone to the point it looked shaved. I didn't know how short she was cutting it in the back until she started working on the sides and cut them to 1/2 inch just above my ear. This is when I started to panic and told her it was really a lot shorter than I wanted. I also asked her to see the back when she was done and she said, and I quote, "You don't want to see the back." YIKES! I think she knew she cut it too short because she just kept saying I looked good in a very short hair cut. Regardless, she didn't cut my hair the way I asked her to. What I don't understand is the pictures I presented her spoke a thousand words. It was obvious when you compared my hairstyle with the pictures, she did not even come close to what I wanted. Everyone who has seen my new haircut and looked at the pictures I used as a reference, told me I should never have paid her for the cut and I should still demand my money back. So why didn't I complain to her right then when I knew she did not listen to me and did not provide me with the haircut I requested, you may ask? Well, to tell you the truth, Andrea was really sweet and I didn't want to hurt her feeling. Plus, I was beyond frustrated by the fact that not one but two professional hair stylist DID NOT LISTEN and both gave me a bad haircut or a haircut I didn't ask for. Still, I know I should have been more honest with her and stand up for my rights. At the end of the day, I just don't understand why it was so impossible to get a great pixie cut from someone who has had years of experience and has been trained in a Vidal Sassoon Academy. So, if you do go to Andrea, please make sure you explain exactly what you want her to do and if she doesn't, don't be like me and just walk out completely disappointed and frustrated. Nan

I went to Trichology this past Saturday and had the worst salon experience of my life. I made an appointment to get the roots touched up on my hair (which WAS golden blonde). Everything seemed to be going well. I made it very clear to the stylist I wanted them touched up and blended into the rest of my hair and that I really prefer to have a beachy, golden color. She turned my roots WHITE. Not only that, I also had random yellow patches that resembled the color of butter all over my hair. When she asked how I liked it I told her that was not what I asked for at all and why anyone would want white roots if they have golden blonde hair. I told her I wanted it fixed then and there. Apparently if a stylist makes a mistake there its the customers responsibility to pay for it because she added another 30 dollars to my bill. Even after the color glaze I still hated the color. The roots didnt match the rest of my hair and it was just a disaster. I went into that salon feeling good about myself and left in tears, over 120 dollars poorer for my trouble. The stylist actually had the nerve to say that we both should consider it a learning experience and to come back and get low lights to try and get back where I was. The only thing I learned is that I will NEVER go back. Andrea is the WORST stylist I have EVER had. I had to buy box color to get my hair to at least be the same color. NEVER EVER AGAIN.
