Waited a hour for a cut in a dead shop, last 30 minutes the barber was outside talking with a “manager” I guess having a manager meeting while patrons are waiting for a cut is how they run their business, won’t be going back! I knew I should have just went to Lakeside barber shop, I would have waited but not while the barber was outside pounding a energy drink and smoking a cig. I’ll give my money to one of the other 6 shops in the area. It was really cool how the ladies laughed at me for saying I couldn’t wait any longer and that I wouldn’t be back.

I can see where men would enjoy hanging out. I took my 2 boys in on Monday and decided to wait because there was only one guy in front of us. They started getting restless but we stayed because I didn’t think it would take that guy an hour to cut a mans head that already had short hair. Clearly my restless boys were getting on the barbers nerves. I should’ve left but it was so cold and they needed haircuts. My boys have tough heads but started crying during their cuts and the barber told them to quit being dramatic. NOT kid friendly at the Bethany location. Too bad because I was excited to have a new barber in town. And my sons cut is horrible and not blended well. Now I have to go pay someone else to fix it. We won’t be back.

Some zohan mf let me wait with my 4 year old kid for 20 min just for one of his regulars to come in and go before us, and we are in the walk ins building not the appointments building. He said the next barber is almost done he'll take care of you. The customer that jumped in front of us should have waited his turn and the barber should have not let this happen. If you're looking for a low class barber shop this is the place for you.

I'm so happy to write this review. I go to this place only because it is where Bryan "The Barber" displays his craft. This guy is Houdini with a straight razor! It just does not get any better, and I am a guy that has been around the country getting hot shaves. It is also worth mentioning as well that he is a true professional. He takes hygiene seriously and makes sure that his equipment is operating optimally. Any great barber has to also be a great conversationalist and Bryan certainly is. He can talk sports, current events and most definitely music. Tom’s has the old school barbershop appeal. The banter seems to be for the most part, apolitical. The price for a basic haircut seems a little higher than I expected. (Haircut and beard trim about $45 not including tip)The staff are all friendly and will greet you with a smile. Be prepared to wait though. They take their time and are thorough, however, if you don’t mind it’s a cool place to hang out and have a beer while you wait. All in all the quality of the finished product was great. My wife loves it and that’s what really matters.

Brian is a barber up there an I have been using him wherever he goes an he does an amazing job! Ole style with straight razor an not a singe hair out of place! If you want a quality hair cut I highly recommend this place an any of them will hook you up good but in my opinion Brian is the best they got there an prolly one of the best in town! They do woman's hair too but I'm a guy so I can't really speak on that but from what I see they do well also! Oh an bonus if there is a wait... We walked in on a slow Sunday expecting an experience that was great based off the surplus amount of reviews, and we did leave blown away, but only by how poor the quality of service was. We weren't greeted or even acknowledged upon arrival, and the store front itself is rather small so that immediately made things awkward. When the gentlemen working finished up with his client, he only asked if we had cash. That was it, no fake pleasantries or anything. But we pushed through and said no, but we'd be more than happy to go get some, and asked how much the cut would be (so we knew what to take out) and it just...wasn't great. On a day when it's slow, you'd expect the service to be a little better. We ultimately just left and didn't waste our time with someone who clearly didn't want to be bothered. We'll wait until Tuesday when Welden Jack opens.

There may be accessible parking and ramp on west side of shopping center by Eley's Grocery. Don't know condition of sidewalk to Tom's entrance and their door is difficult but barbers are attentive and friendly and will open the door if required. I like this place. Youngish crowd. 4 chairs, short wait if any. They dig old hippies.

In OKC for a couple months on a work trip. I've tried 2 other barbers in the area and the results weren't great. So next up on the list was Tom's. The wait was long but that's usually a good sign. 20 minutes later, I was in the chair. The detail to my fade was amazing! She took her time instead of rushing to get another customer in the chair. Straight razor to the neck and some product in my hair as well. Noticed they had free beer available while you wait which is pretty cool. Think I finally found a barbershop to stick with when I'm in OKC.

Tried Tom's for the first time. If you are into a great barbershop with a nostalgic flair, Tom's if for you. I had the pleasure of having the lovely Krystal chop my mop AND give me one of the best shaves I have had since I could grow facial hair. Krystal was meticulous and quick. It was a great experience getting a REAL straight razor shave. This reasonably priced package could be yours too, just stop on in and ask for Krystal. Get your hair cut and face shaved, all with great conversation and a great atmosphere! Definitely can't wait for my hair to grown out so I can go back.

My boyfriend came here for a haircut, the guy with grey hair spent probably 10 minutes on him and he argued saying the haircut he gave him was perfect and wouldn't cut it the way we wanted and my boyfriend had to leave with a bowl haircut with no texturing after paying $20. He literally only used trimmers to try to cut his long hair and never used his scissors. Will never come here again!

These guys are special. The atmosphere may seem hipster at first but the barbers/stylists are everyman types and they do a damn fine job. They have a higher cost than your average old school barber shop, but their attentiveness to results are very apparent. Good, solid shop with good solid folks. Also, the owner plays a lot of Leonard Cohen which is a big plus in my book!

Bryan nailed the exact look I wanted and started with very little. He is a master craftsman. If you are looking for an amazing haircut at an extremely reasonable price go here. It is getting harder and harder to find people who take pride in their work, here you will find pride, a great atmosphere, good conversation, and a top quality experience. They wrecked my hair. I could have done better at home. I think the janitor cut my hair and the scissors were very dull. I told the guy I comb it up and back into a pompadour and he butchered my bangs and left the hair behind them substantially longer. I will not be going back. I cant remember the name of the guy but I was in the chair closest to the door. Its been about 3 weeks and I have been too busy to have it fixed so I wear hats to hide it. Lame.
