With it being my time first time at this salon, I got a complementary deep conditioning treatment. I had not had my hair cut in a LONG time because i was so unhappy with how it turned out time after time. This place had great reviews so i thought i'd give it a shot. I called and was able to get a same day appointment and was paired with someone who knew how to work with my type of hair. I went in, she took her time and really listened to what i wanted and it turned out great! I am super SUPER picky when it comes to hair/makeup etc and Cindy was great and will now be my new go to lady for hair!

I tried this salon after four...yes FOUR of my family members all tried it and loved it. My experience was nothing short of knock-your-socks-off-awesome. I have used and abused my hair (first off, it's coarse, curly and long - then I've bleached it multiple times - then didn't cut it for 6 months or more). So I was in a bit of a rough state when I visited this evening. Tonight, I saw Mandy, who also has [beautiful] curly hair. If you have curly hair you know the struggle of finding someone who can relate to your hair type AND can give you a rockin cut. She is all that AND a bag of tricks (I mean this literally....the girl has mad skills and a particularly mind blowing trick with a flat iron...I won't spoil the surprise for you. Just go in and ask her to do her wizard trick with the straightener.) She gave me THE best cut and my hair has not looked this good in a very long time. Also, she is everything you want [and more] from a stylist. She asks thoughtful questions, clearly knows her stuff, gives great, realistic tips to help you reach your goals, and has great suggestions without being pushy or "all-knowing"....if you know what I mean. In all seriousness she's pretty much the culmination of all of the best parts of everyone whose ever cut my hair wrapped into one perfect stylist. The decor was done really pretty, and the place has a quaint yet modern feel to it. The lather room is not just a place but an experience... I will definitely be back to see Mandy. And if you are reading this Mandy you best not ever go anywhere...I've been searching for you for a long time!!! =)

I have been going here for over a year and actually my husband went there first. It has a great atmosphere. Pretty hip actually for Liberty township. I like that since I have lived in big cities and like a little bit of punk and spunk in my hair salons. I have had my hair done by 2 diff stylists there and both were very sweet and knowledgable- happy to try and please. And by the way the best part is the shampoo lounge where they give you a complimentary hand and arm massage while you listen to Pan flutes and a sitar in a dimly lit room. I recommend this salon to anyone- I just made my mother an apt.

Outstanding customer service from the first phone call. I wanted to see if they could fit me in Friday morning. They were able to get one of their slylists to come in early and she, Cindy, was amazing. A bunch of complimentary services were offered for first time customers, from an intensive hair treatment to a hand massage. They offer a "frequent flyer" point system that can be used for discounts on services or products. I definitely will be back.

I’d never met Megan but today I went in for a much needed hair makeover. I walked in with long processed blonde hair looking washed out and neglected. First time at this salon - I was referred by my wife who was not a fan of my normal haircuts from S----Cuts since it was hit or miss whether i was going to walk out with a decent cut. My experience at Lunatic Fringe was great - staff was friendly and professional. My haircut, wash and hot towel (awesome) was a no pressure situation and Mica (My stylist - I have never had my own stylist before) was super nice and down to earth. I have returned a second time and Mica did an even better job. I am now a regular customer.

I go to this salon every few months! It is the BEST service, quality in hair products, stylist etc. My hair was extremely damaged and they always help my damaged hair. not worth the money! I booked an appointment with admittedly a nice lady who was supposed to be a trainer at the Paul Mitchell school for hair design (this is what her profile online said) however when we went to the salon the haircut was lack luster :( My daughter wanted multiple layers in her hair and even had a picture and what she got was just a few inches taken off the bottom and long swoop bangs in the front. The woman tried to dress it up by putting some curls in her hair in attempt to style it but it fell flat. So we paid 120 dollars for a hair cut she could have gotten at super cuts for 15.

Liz is great She is genuinely interested in your life and is a very sweet person. I always go to Liz but she has been on Maternity Leave so I tried a Junior stylist. I won't do that again. She wasn't very good. I kept telling her to go shorter I think she cut off 1/8" over my whole head. You couldn't even tell I got it cut. So I called up the next week and said I will wait for Liz I don't care how long it takes.

I have been visiting Lunatic Fringe for three years now. I've never had a bad hair cut or color here. The atmosphere is so friendly and family-friendly. The entire salon works as a team to help each other out- I had two single processes in one appointment last time and it seemed like everyone pitched in to help. Perfect salon! I had my hair done by Whitney and she was great! Provided information on products she used, explained her process styling my hair, and gave suggestions based off of my hair type. I have a wedding coming up in April and have already booked with her. I use to travel to Englewood OH to get my hair cut (I had my hair cut at the same place since I was in elementary school). This is my new Salon home! Whitney has gained a loyal client. I will continue to keep seeing her. *Front desk staff were SUPER UBER nice, welcoming, and helpful!*

The first time I came in I wanted to chop my hair to a bob and I've trusted the stylists at Lunatic ever since, even now when I'm growing it back and freaking out over every 1/2" taken off. I'm always greeted with a kind smile and a hug- the ladies at Lunatic Fringe will make you feel right at home and leave you feeling and looking beautiful and rejuvenated. I don't usually write a review, but just had to share what a wonderful experience I had. The location is very easy to find and I was immediately impressed when I walked in the door. Very trendy and upbeat! They offered several options for a beverage and I loved my fancy water in a glass bottle! My appointment was booked with Alyssa and I was very happy with my experience from beginning to end. She was very thorough in the consultation, and while I am very picky about my hair, I felt very comfortable about her recommendations. After my full highlight and lowlight, I got to enjoy a relaxing time in the "Lather Lounge" The scalp massage was amazing all on it's own, but I was also pampered with a hot towel, hand and arm massage and I also received a free deep conditioning treatment since this was my first visit. I loved my fresh new cut and Alyssa did a great job styling me for the day. She shared the products that she used so I could duplicate the style at home, which is very important to me. I would highly recommend this salon, and would definitely recommend Alyssa. Her confidence mixed with being a total sweetheart made this a very positive experience!

Ashley deserves this review, she’s amazing... I’ve gone to a couple others salons to get full high lights for years, but I’ve never truly been satisfied. I have long hair, and I always feel rushed out the door. Often times I end up being double-booked even though I always tell the receptionist that my hair takes a lot longer than most. No matter what, this always results in the stylist rushing me along and trying to do two people at once, way off schedule her. But Ashley is SO patient, kind, and understanding. And she has taught me so many things about my hair that I never realized or knew. She’s really knowledgable and actually has passion in her career. She asked me questions that I never thought of or have been asked by other stylists before, and she showed me before she would make a cut to take off length. And as for price, it’s cheaper than or the same as other salons I’ve been to. Regardless, it was worth it. Thank you.

It's so pretty and highlights in all the right places!! The free deep conditioning treatment and hand and arm massage was an awesome bonus! The salon was clean and cute and very relaxed. I started my relationship with Lunatic Liberty when I tried to get a permanent red out of my hair and I had hairstylist/salon trust issues. But let me tell you, Liz will reassure your fears, and treat you great! The team there help out where ever needed. Its kind of magical to watch them help each other without one complaint. Its like a strong family who takes care of each other. What also helped me tremendously when deciding to stay as a long time customer even though my hair color is now out (yay) would be the salons atmosphere. It is very welcome, but most of all there is not hidden gossip, or negativity towards any workers, or customers. I saw the super sweet owner Lisa take care of some clients really well. She went over the moon for them to enjoy their cut and style.And that was only one! She runs the front counter check outs, appointments, and overall magic of the amazing salon! I have found my home salon and stylist. Liz can do anything!! Liz also always has WONDERFUL smelling products so your nose gets a little love too when you visit. Best as well with the salon and stylist, is they do not force you to buy any product near the end or in your appointment. That is one of the endless things I love about them! Can't wait for my visit soon! :)

Every single time I step in to the Salon I feel welcomed... most times the door is even held for me and everyone is just so excited to see me. Megan is my stylist and she is not only the biggest sweetheart, but knows what she is doing. She will take the time to make sure she understands your wants, and if you don't know what you want, will offer up her own opinions and even get advice from the many other talented team members until you are satisfied with the vision. There is never a time I have left feeling like I didn't get what I wanted. I am always amazed at the talents Megan has with color, especially in the way she melts them together and can make even my mermaid hair feel natural. I have been with her for over a year and a half now, and I won't go to another place.

Mica gave me an awesome cut. I showed her about 5 different photos of similar long, layered hairstyles and asked her to tailor it to my hair type and face and she made it work. My color is great, and the extra pampering during the hair wash is seriously amazing. Other salons claim that they offer extra services with each cut but once you are a regular they usually start skipping the extras...but if the great cuts and hand/arm massages keep up I'll never go anywhere else.

Customer service was great, possibly overly accommodating. Every staff member came over every 10 minutes to ask if we needed anything. Unfortunately the service I received was not so great. I was really hoping too, I am tired of having to pay so much every month to keep up with my color. I came in for a full highlight. My hair was very dry and my roots very bad. I got it done just a month ago but It was too light. She started to highlight my hair. No offense to the hair dresser at all, but she clearly didn't want to be there. She kept telling me what we could do next time so my color will last longer. I asked if maybe we could feed a darker blond through. Which she did. She suggested a partial instead. So I did that. She wasn't feeling good and sore from a prior injury, it was blatantly obvious she wanted to get it done as fast as possible. My color is un even with brown, not blonde through. I will end up having to pay double to get it fixed. I paid over 100 to get roots that were worse then I came with. Again noting against the hairstylist, she was very knowledgeable and capable. She is probably fine when feeling good. I wont be back. Sure Its a great place with great stylist, not for me

$60 Kid Haircuts!! The staff was very nice and did a nice job on both my kids hair. However, the price they charge for a kids haircut is highway robbery. For two kids (ages 3.5 & 11 mths) it was $60 plus tip. If you don't want to do kids hair just say so but charging that much is ridiculous. My family will NOT be going back nor would ever recommend this salon.

I saw Ali North, creative stylist, at the Salt Lake City location while I was traveling through and told her the look I wanted. She explained the different options and helped me decide what to do exactly. She explained everything that she was doing just before she did it so I felt comfortable with the decision.
