Very clean and well designed interior. All the staff are delightful. I regularly go to Annette for my haircuts and she is great at listening to what you want and working with you to come up with ideas. You don't just get a haircut when you are here. They also provide you with little perks to choose from like a hand or shoulder massage, mini facial and others.

I've been here a few times and have been happy with the results except for this last visit. Thinning shears was used on my hair, never used them before so didn't think much of it since I have really thick, long hair. Now after going home and washing my hair to style how I normally do, my hair is so thin, limp, and has lost it's curl. There's also these patches around my head with half inch long hair that stick straight out from my head because the thinning shears was used way to close to my scalp. I'm so sad because I feel like it looks really bad and I don't know if it will grow back enough in time for my wedding next year. :(

GET THE WAX AND FACIAL....BEST I have EVER had! Cara is absolutely amazing and makes the whole waxing experience pleasant and comfortable...follow that up with a relaxing facial and it is heaven! I also get my hair highlighted and cut and every time it has been exactly what I have wanted! I love how open and positive it feels in the salon and how helpful the stylists are...they truly know what they are talking about and work with you on finding the look that you are looking for. I really loved the IPad they handed me and asked me to pick out a few extra complementary services...this was awesome! I had my nails painted...a mini-facial and a neck and shoulder massage...all while getting my hair highlighted! I recommend this salon to anyone looking for an amazing salon and a great environment!

Canvas Salon is amazing! Alexis is always making sure to ask lots of questions to ensure everything she's doing is what I want. As someone who isn't necessarily familiar with what to ask for based on what I want, I find that very reassuring. Alexis is great about recommending products and treatments for my hair type that are actually worthwhile to me, instead of selling products just to get higher sales. I've only been in for haircuts, but I've seen pictures of her color jobs and they look outstanding! I 100% recommend both Canvas Salon and Alexis.

Sometimes it's "I want to go all black" other times it's "I need red in my hair"! She does a phenomenal job...every single time. The salon is clean and well kept with a plethora of Aveda products! You'll get addicted to those just as much as you'll get addicted to seeing Ginger!

Got a great color (retouch and partial) from Tara. I really liked that she was consultative and discussed the price. I had a stylist at J Bentley tell me what she did and then charged my $240 before tip. I thought I was getting what I asked for not what she told me she did (for which I saw no value to this “custom” color she did - whatever that means) so this really was appreciated that I didn’t have to worry about being bamboozled at the register.

From the thoughtful temple massage to the in depth conversation about how I style my hair on a normal basis, Maddie could not have been sweeter! Kaili was so fantastic - I can’t get over how great my hair looks now compared to the mess it was when I came in. Before she worked her magic, my hair was washed out and had several inches of dark roots (and not in a glamorous trendy way). Now my hair is a uniform color like I prefer but still has great tone and dimension. Even if you don’t work or live in Powell she is definitely worth the trip!!

The salon manages to be high end without being snooty, as I always feel welcomed and remembered when I go. My colorist there (Maddie) is a magician. I love going there. Being a redhead, it's tough to find someone who can highlight properly and make it look natural. Shawna is amazing! She asks me what I'm looking for during my service and gives me exactly that. Each time she has suggested a change in my cut - I've gone for it and been so happy with my results. The personal attention that every employee shows to their customers is outstanding. They are friendly, professional and efficient. I am not normally one to splurge on extra beauty products after my service, however, Canvas is always offering savings and the products are great. The glossing straightener has helped to tame my thick hair and make it more manageable. I highly recommend Canvas if you're looking for an all-around great salon!

For years I have looked for somewhere to get a quality men's hair cut. High end salons don't cater to men and most of the walk in low dollar establishments that claim to be male focused provide a low quality hair cut. My stylist Summer does an amazing job, very consistent, and frankly provides the best hair cut I have ever received.
