I went here a few weeks ago and it was a horrible experience. I came in with red on top and blonde on the bottom, asked for it to be more of a fiery ombre, and I came out with my hair almost one same color and MUCH darker than I wanted. She also cut my hair WAY shorter than I had asked for, and this was after I had told her that I did not like my hair anywhere higher than below my shoulders, and the front pieces were uneven with one side being cut almost straight across (pictures attached). I have never cried after a hair cut in my life but I ugly cried the entire way home and in the bathroom once I got a really good look at what she had done. The reason I didn't stop her while she was cutting it? Most of the time she had me turned away from the mirror so I couldn't see what she was doing! She also curled it (I keep it straight) so I didn't know what had happened to the length until I got home and dampened/straightened it out.
I have also never been to such a catty and unfriendly salon. They talked s*** about half of the people that came and went and talked to each other more than their customers, save for one hairdresser who seemed to really enjoy her work. While I was sent to sit on a front bench to wait for my dye to set (which she left on for over 45 minutes, not 30 like she thought, and was way too long and probably why it came out so dark), my hairdresser cut a guy's hair and was laughing and talking with him the entire time before going downstairs with another coworker and vanishing for over 20 minutes. I tried to get a conversation going multiple times during the process but failed. The most I got out of her was her shocked and almost appalled question about if I have two phones, which I do -- one personal, one for work.
Later that day, I texted her to tell her I wasn't happy with the outcome and what we could do to fix it. Without apologizing (I simply wanted an acknowledgment that she was sorry I felt unhappy with the service she had provided) and over the course of two days, she only offered to "shape up" the front and for me to come in to discuss the color. After my next text of telling her I didn't want to cut more and expecting her to reply, I never heard from her again.
I paid over $100 for a horrible dye job and a butchered haircut that I didn't ask for, and the hairdresser didn't seem to care whatsoever. Needless to say, I will never go back to this salon.
