Had a balayage service done that took 4 hours, and not only did it turn out gray instead of caramel, it also was done poorly (another stylist at the salon agreed). Called and the stylist said “wash it a couple times and it won’t be gray”. Called and talked with receptionist who set me up with another stylist to have it corrected (which was done free of charge). The toner was put on to make it the right caramel color, but the balayage is still done poorly and splotchy (to which the stylist did agree but did not correct the whole issue). So now I hate my hair, paid $110 to have it done, spent way too many hours in the salon, and have to pay someone else to correct the issue.

I usually review places that I have had a bad experience. I am absolutely delighted to do this one. My sister has medical issues and has been in a wheelchair for about nine years. My daughter her niece wanted to treat her to a spa experience. Caroline did her facial and arms and neck and shoulders. She was amazing kind, thoughtful and very considerate. My sisters blood sugar had dropped somewhat and they tried everything. They sent some one to get ice next door for her to have something cold to drink. I could go on and on. Gaby did cut and color. She was awesome. My sister was a little shakey so Gaby had her stay in wheelchair and she got down on her knees to cut her hair. This place and these wonderful people are amazing.

I had a hairstyle for an important day, I show her the pic of the hairstyle that I want, and she made it completely diferent, she said because my hair was too long , if she had said that from the beginning then I would've chosen another hair style and I end it up paying double of what they told me it might cost, for something that I wasn't very happy with.

Bliss seems like a really cool place and maybe some of the stylist do a fine job. Everyone was pleasant, but my hair turned out terrible. I have dark brown hair and I asked for some soft baleyage ombré highlights and a haircut. I showed the stylist photos and she said it was totally doable. I don't often like to spend a lot of money to get my hair done. I decided to treat myself though because I've been very sick. The day I went to the salon was actually one of the first days I was able to leave the house for more than a short period of time since my illnesses got bad. I was on a low dose of Chemo for months because of multiple Autoimmune diseases and my hair needed some TLC. ANYWAYS.. I ended up with streaky Yellow/Orange/Light blond highlights all over. It looked terrible mixed in with my dark brown hair. My haircut was ok, nothing special. I left still having split ends. I just kind of felt like for whatever reason she didn't feel like her appointment with me really mattered. Maybe I should have asked her to fix it, I just was so upset and wanted to get out of there. Thankfully I am pretty good with hair and was able to get it to the color I wanted myself!

Wow! If you feel like no hairstylist can ever get your hair to look the way you like you need to go see <<>> at Bliss in Hendersonville. She is amazing. I went in four times to a salon to get my hair lightened and never left with the look I wanted until Amanda did my hair. I will never go to anyone else. I highly recommend visiting her for anything you want done. Bliss Salon is by far my favorite. It's really clean and the staff and stylists are very friendly.

Love, love, love Bliss Salon. Hailey and Paty are the best. 3 years ago I went into Bliss with a color and cut issue from another salon. Hailey color corrected and cut my hair to get it back to it's normal state. Since then, I only go to this salon. Wonderful service and super nice people (stylists, receptionist, salon assistants, etc.). If you want a good cut, color, and overall experience I would highly recommend Bliss.

When i was working and traveling to charlotte a lot i went to a great salon there and got amazing haircuts. Since retiring I have been searching for a good salon and finally found it in Bliss. The fact that it is an Aveda is a huge plus and the atmosphere is very serene and chill Without being a huge salon. Paty has given me the best cut i have had in a long time. The minute she picked up the shears i knew was a great cutter! Great place!

Since this is a new location for Bliss I thought I would like to try the salon. One of the things that brother me most is when I called to make an appointment I get an answering machine. I understand if this was a very small mom & pop business with a one or two stylist and they couldn’t hire a receptionist/scheduler but it doesn’t appear to me that is the case. I work as well so it’s very difficult to call before 7pm ( I called around 11am) or for anyone to reach me back. I called a few hours later and still no answer, finally the third call I left a detailed message. It’s been over Three days now and I still haven’t received a call back. Needless to say I will not try or even want to give them my business due to their customer service alone.

I absolutely adore Emily F. at Bliss. She is WONDERFUL in every way. She's sweet, personable, friendly, and listens to what you want. If you aren't sure what you want, she has suggestions that usually turn out to be exactly what you wanted—even if you didn't know that yet. She does my regular haircuts and did my bridal hair, which was perfect and stunning in every way. Get your hair done by Emily. You will not regret it. * Quick note unrelated to Emily: My mother-in-law got her hair and make-up done by another stylist at Bliss on my wedding day, and she left feeling terrible about what the stylist had done. I contacted the manager, who immediately and generously rectified the situation. Great customer service on their part.

I’ve been a regular at Bliss for the last couple of years and could not be happier! The girls that work the desk are always super nice and professional and I so appreciate the appt reminders via text for the next day. Emily is a fantastic colorist and has always given me a terrific edgy cut! As a 40 something gal that was looking for a new updated look, Emily was able to give me exactly what I asked for as well as guide me in what would look best for me. She is very creative and talented and one of the kindest people you will ever meet. I highly recommend Emily and Bliss Salon!

I had the most wonderful facial by Bliss Salon’s very own Caroline. The dimly lit room with soothing music in the background encouraged my body to relax. As the cleansers, warm towels and pumpkin peel were applied I could feel the facial working to renew my skin. After she applied the moisturizer with a gentle healing touch my face and décolleté felt refreshed, renewed, soft and supple. Then as I sat up a warm towel was applied to my upper back and I slowly exhaled feeling renewed in both body and mind. I totally recommend this wonderful treatment to anyone who wants or needs a relaxing, renewing experience.

I was part of a bridal party that got their hair and makeup done. I had Holly for my hair and she did a lovely job. My hair stayed in tact all night and looked great. I also got my makeup done which was beautiful and looked natural but polished. Their prices for an event were a little high, nearly as much as I pay for more at home. They do not have comfortable lobby seating and I would recommend they invest in more lounge style seating even though the area is a bit small-perhaps look at a new space plan that better accommodates everything. The scheduling was a little discombobulated but most everything seemed to be accommodated well with the exception of swapping on persons hair for another.

It is always tuff to move to a new location and then go through the trials and errors of finding a new hair Stylist, something that I never look forward to. Well, at Bliss, our first selection by the way, my wife and I were ecstatic to both find a Stylist that we just love! And...she's the same Stylist! Holly is incredible! I will also say that there seemed to be several very competent Stylists at Bliss. Great experience and we highly recommend Bliss.

I Finally Found a Fantastic Hair Dresser at Bliss in the WNC area and her name is EMILY. I Moved here around 2001/2002 from a Metropolitan City Area where i was Blessed with many great hair stylists and salons. I have tried quite a few hair dressers here in WNC but never got what I wanted. I was dreading the drive there and thought its going to be another bad hair experience but I was willing because I definitely needed some Hair TLC, a pick me up and a new look. Emily was Very Sweet and Welcoming. She was Very Professional during the consult and had Many Great Ideas. Next when Emily had her scissors in hand her Artistry Came Alive. Very Very Talented Young Lady!!! She is Excellent in Both Color and Hair cutting and Styling. and from what I gathered from her portfolio she is Great at Long and Short hair Styles. A True Artist. Try her you will not be disappointed. I'm now a permanent customer. Thank You So Much Emily. I now have a Go To Hair Dresser in WNC for All my Hair Care Needs :)

Overall a great experience. I like the busy hum of activity and friendly people at Bliss. It might be hard to get in, but isn't that a good sign? Emily was very helpful and I would recommend her without hesitation as a stylist. She dealt with my transition to gray and low lights that I've received many compliments on my hair style. My teenage daughter wanted to wax her eyebrows for the first time so I called around to try and make it the same day bust most salon have their esthetician leave by 3pm. Bliss esthetician was the only one to offer and stay until 3:30 so that we had time to make it. My daughter was extremely nervous but as soon as Caroline came out she put her at ease, was extremely sweet and explained to us the different type of waxes. ( choose the sugaring! ). My daughter was so pleased with the result and thought Caroline was one of the nicest person she ever met. Watching the process of sugaring I got very curious and asked Caroline if she would have time to wax me as well which she said yes without hesitation. Sugaring is amazing, performs as well as regular wax but with a more gentle and natural approach. From the helpful phone receptionist, to the great services, the niceness of the esthetician, the salon decor and affordable prices, it was a great experience and I definitely recommend Caroline to anyone looking for a great esthetician. I will be back to try their hair service!

Had my first experience at Bliss just recently. Amanda colored my hair and I absolutely love it. She also gave me an AMAZING scalp massage when shampooing my hair. The entire staff was extremely friendly. I even got a hand massage by the owner's little boy. Was pampered during my visit. I will definitely be going back to see Amanda in the future for cut and color and the scalp massage!!!!

The stylist was great, but the staff was cold, and difficult to deal with. If you have to jump through hoops and sweet talk the scheduler, it's not always worth the trouble.

I work at YAM (yoga and massage) in Hendersonville, so I know the benefits of others holding space so that one can relax and decompress and enjoy their self. I must say that every time I go to Bliss, I feel a bit lighter with more confidence and pep in my step. I love the atmosphere, the delicious tea, the sample Aveda products, and even more importantly, the quality of character that the staff possesses.
