I rarely leave Google reviews but had to after my appointment with Miss V tonight. I am getting married in 3 weeks and realized just the other day that my hair color had gotten super mousey/dull over the winter and the ends were brassy from older color. I went back and forth on whether to get highlights bc I am VERY change averse and non adventurous with my hair but am so happy I ended up booking an appt with Miss V. She listened very patiently while I kept annoyingly repeating the words "natural!!" & "subtle!" and the result was exactly what I wanted but couldn't articulate. Also, the salon is so calming and the Kevin Murphy products they use are amazing.

My first time at this salon turned out to be way better than I could have imagined! My colorist was Miss V and she did a really great job making recommendations based on pictures I showed her. I initially wanted a base color with highlights but she told me that the base would damage my hair unnecessarily. We went with balayage and toner and the color turned out AMAZING! Her assistant was also really nice and gave me a beautiful complimentary blowout. I started out with a dark brown mahogany color from an old dye job, and ended up with a very soft honey blond balayage. I highly recommend Miss V as your Balayage Artist in Tribeca!

I was a hair model for YoungHee Salon, specifically to try out the Cezanne Smoothing Treatment on fine hair. In my history, I've used QOD Gold and Kerasilk treatment. This one seems to trump both because I was able to immediately color and put my hair into a ponytail within the day. As proof, I got a balayage treatment 3 days later, and it didn't affect results. I have difficult fine curly hair, which is generally unmanageable when it creates a halo of frizz. Cezanne has cut down my daily maintenance to 5 minutes. Additionally, the salon artist: Yumi, and her colleague Juan, are both very professional, knowledgeable and did not try to push products on me. Once this wears off, I'll be sure to visit again.

I will first preface this with I've been in NYC for 4 years. I have struggled trying to find a decent barber or salon that actually gives me the cut I'm looking for. When I moved to Tribeca 6 months ago I stumbled across this gem. All the Staff are super friendly, treat you very well from the very beginning. Offer drinks, coffe , great a variety of Tea etc. I'm not there for a beverage however, I'm there to see my guy Jacob. He takes pride in what He does and offers his opinion in the process. I think as a hair professional, insight into different options is important. It's rare these days you get that. I tell him what I want and he offers his opinion or other options. He always does a good job and is why I haven't cheated on his thus far. Except once when I was in Chicago and I regretted it, so from here on out, he’s the one! Check out the salon, especially J!
