I had the most amazing experience at this place. I needed to book hair and makeup for a wedding and I started looking for places around me. The reviews about this salon made me a bit skeptical at first as many of them classified it as overpriced and not worth the money spent. I couldn't disagree more. It is costly (as everything else in NYC), but the service, the place, and especially the staff make it all worth. Of course the end result is also not to be disregarded. Since it was my first time I booked online without knowing who I was getting. I was really lucky to get Edgar. He is a superstar!! Not only friendly and understanding right away of what i needed, but a true magician. He made my eyes look like you could not miss them. And my hair (which is now a disaster, fine, fragile and totally unworkable), he made it into this gorgeous goddess hairstyle. The place is so cool, fun and chic (and yes, we do have to pay for that too) Coming back for seconds and thirds!

I went to Warren Tricomi to get my hair done for a wedding; I'm reviewing it base on an up-do, not a cut or color. Aurora, the woman who did my hair, is very nice. I didn't love the outcome as it wasn't what I was envisioning; perhaps a bit too old and plain. Service at the front desk is somewhat snotty. The space is large, loud, and bustling. Prices are exorbitant. For an average up-do and sky high prices, I was frustrated and unimpressed.

I went to Charlie and he did a fabulous job on my nails. This spot was clean and cute! I will recommend to anyone and will definitely go back! I did the almond shaped nails with gel polish.

Beautiful hair salon in the famous Plaza Hotel. They have a full spa too. The staff is very friendly and I've met the owners a few times. Very luxurious atmosphere. The prices arent out of hand so it is somewhat approachable for every day people. It's located on the second floor. I say that because it's somewhat difficult to find when you walk into the hotel. Kind of a maze. Other than that, it's great.

Could this be the worst Hair Salon in the Plaza Hotel in NY? Made my hair appointment a week ago and today Saturday December 3, 2016, I was scheduled to get a blowout and makeup done. But unfortunately they made me wait 20 minutes or more, switching the hairstylists and when they appointed the shampoo assistant he completely disregarded me and he was just day dreaming and walked away. By this time they have wasted half an hour with no apparent reason or any explanation to me. At this point I realize that the service here at Warren-Tricomi Salon that is within the hotel property doesn't see any kind of any regard for the guest of the hotel. I understand that the hotel doesn't bare any responsibility but still it's a GREAT disappointment to me. P.S. I don't see me coming back to Plaza Hotel in the future because I don't get the proper services that I deserved.

My manicure was wonderful - detailed, beautiful results. But my hair experience was poor - blow dry with a flat brush and no product for 10 minutes was $95, after I was already up-charged accidentally for a treatment.
