I finished my work earlier to be on the appointed time. Then I was. At the salon, the East Village location, I spend few minutes to be ready to start. I was killing my tome on my smartphone but when I realized it already half an hour and no one was interested about me. My hairdresser just started another head. I was completely ignored. Nobody cared about that situation. The hairdresser was busy the other customer. This place needs someone to manage the appointments. I'm very disappointed about the whole situation.

Tara is the best! I'm guilty of drifting and seeking out other stylists only to realize, no one compares! If you're a woman, have short hair, and love to let a stylist do what they do best - go to her. She listens and you can be totally honest with her! I'm going back and never drifting again.

Merlyn at this location has been my stylist for years now. She's extremely attentive and patient with my hair and I've always received compliments where ever I go. With all the constant hair dying and daily flat iron and curling iron use, a visit to Merlyn can magically make my hair shiny and alive again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Had the worst experience at this Salon today!! BEWARE!!!!!! I purchased from groupon thinking I got a great deal only to realize I was being charged $50 extra for toner/glossing!! Meryln who worked there had such terrible customer service and refused to do my highlights unless I paid the extra fees and used her extra products that I did not want!! She told me that she wouldn’t know how to do the highlights if I didn’t pay the extra $50 what kind of hair professional would say that?! I asked for regular highlights without the extra products or glossing. Don’t push customers into something they don’t want done on their hair!!! Save your money and time people. There are plenty of other salons who will understand what you actually want! HORRIBLE!! Walked right out of the salon and luckily groupon refunded me.

The colorist director Stage do amazing job, he is very welcoming and patient, this is the type of good hair stylist i am looking for!!!! Did amazi v color got exactly of what i show him through picture, which i go to other salon they did red for. While i ask for fashion color rose gold. Stage is the only one understand what i wanted highly recommended all my friends to director colorist Stage!! Now i look like a hot mom not a soccer mom lolz.

If I could I wouldn't even give this place one star . They ruined my hair and when I called to complain they hung up on me. I I went into Stage Salon the night before a trip to California. I showed the exact picture of what I wanted and discussed color in detail with the stylist. He assured me over and over that he understood and that my hair was going to look exactly like the photo. I waited in anticipation and when I came back from getting my shampoo my hair was golden blonde, I asked for dark brown with caramel low-lights. My whole head was gold. I was in shock. They tried to but glaze after glaze and nothing worked. I was there until 10:30 pm after 4 1/2 hours. One stylist offered to have me go back when I return from my trip to try to fix it again. I paid reluctantly but planned to try again. I went back two weeks later and one again glaze after glaze. I thought it looked acceptable and figured this would be the last time I ever go here again but now two weeks later all the color is gone. No low-lights back to gold or orange def not dark brown. In addition the work that was done by the first stylist left my hair dry and brittle and even burned and dried my scalp. I even have a Dr diagnosis and had to medicate. This is so embarrassing. Now the manager is saying they don't give refunds and are not willing to do anything for me, then he just hung up on me. So now I'm trying to warn everyone about this salon. They are salesman who don't know what they are doing and have very poor customer service. Stay away from this salon and don't be buy the Groupon. The cheap comes out expensive. Posted what I wanted and the mess that I got!!!
