Got a cut by Abby. Told her I wanted it shorter, she assured me that I did not. I gave it a chance and, two weeks later was still not loving it so called and asked for it to be re-cut. I was told they would “need” to charge me full price because it crossed a two week touch up rule they have. Terrible customer service. Never again.

Today started out as a terrible, no good, very bad day. Everything changed when I got to the Soho location and sat in Wesley's chair on West Broadway. I came in high stress, late, and about to cry..well, just because. Anyway. Wesley, by his demeanor alone, was able to shift my focus. Why was I here? What do I need to accomplish for today? Is this the color you want or would you like to modify or change anything? Really brought my perspective back to purpose while Gettting it Done. My color came out better than ever, Could Not believe how Sleek the blowout was considering there was no pull on my head either way. Just Awesome!!!! APPLAUSE!!!!

I had the worst haircut experience of my life to date, give to me from Oxana. I would not recommend her to anyone, because not only did she butcher my hair, but she was also not pleasant or kind. The reason I am giving this salon 4 stars is because of the response of the general manger Robert. He was so understanding and offered me both a refund and another appointment with his top stylist, Daiana, who was extremely kind and did what she could to salvage the haircut. I still am extremely unhappy with my haircut, but I appreciated Robert doing what he could to remedy the situation. I've always had good experiences at Aveda in the past and will continue to go to them for haircuts (just avoiding Oxana).

I was there last Saturday and prices have increased dramatically since the recent corporate change. I ended paying almost double of what I used to pay. Service provided is good but crazy expensive. Unless you are a millionaire, I would not suggest this Salon.

Great salon with an amazingly happy, friendly staff. My hair is happy too! Clean, well thought out space and shop downstairs. Not pushy with selling products and always helpful advice. I've come to appreciate my new stylist and her knowledge very much. It's unfortunate they don't have a person who can lock my hair otherwise I'd give them 5 stars!
