I love this salon. I go to Romain and he is fantastic. The salon is high-end, very stylish, spacious and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I also like the orbie products they use, which are high end. You can book online which is a real benefit.

Upon entering to exiting, this place is solid. Kind people, professional stylist, and a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. Convenient location. Ashley was stellar; she knows hair and products and is passionate about her calling. The atmosphere is welcoming and sophisticated. I enjoyed a hot coffee, and then chilled with water after the cut and hot towel. I am a completely satisfied customer. Oh, and if you speak French, you will enjoy speaking with the folks here.

The staff was so friendly and professional. Romain made me feel as beautiful as Brigitte Bardot when I walked out. He took good care of me and was very respectful and mindful of my natural curly hair. Red Market Salon was a lovely gem of a place to stumble upon. I’ve been going to Patricia for almost 10 years and now have friends who go to her too. I highly recommend her to everyone, she is the absolute best! She understands color and how it works with your complexion. She always gives me the best advice on how to keep my hair healthy and beautiful (for reference - the photo is my current length, when I started going to her 10 years ago my hair wouldn’t grow past my shoulder area, now I have to cut it to keep it from going past my waist line!). I’ve never had such natural looking blonde in my life. I moved to Florida 2 years ago and make trips to NYC just to get my hair done by her. No one else compares! The Red Market Salon is a very stylish place and I feel comfortable throughout the whole process. It’s also a very upbeat environment and everyone is so nice and helpful!

I came to New York for medical treatment for a very rare cancer and decided to get my hair done in NYC. Being from Kansas City I was beyond excited to get the latest color and cut. However I went to a salon that ended up butchering my hair with a terrible haircut and giving me an orange and brass balayage makeover! This salon shad the audacity to offer to correct the color for an additional fifty dollars. I google searched salons near me that were open late as it was 930pm and I was leaving town in the morning. Red Market popped up I called and explained what happened and was told to come in. As soon as I stepped foot in Red Market I was treated with respect and pampered. Offered green tea or wine, my coat hung up, the simple gestures that depict class and professionalism. As I met my colorist Teela Janet and Simone my stylist I had no idea that these two women would impact my life and forever remain in my heart. I’m a mother or two toddlers who works full time as a registered nurse and am only 33 years old. Red Market and Simone and Teela Janet not only did an outstanding job with my color and cut but they stayed late to finish and even gave me a discount. If you are lucky enough to have Teela Janet and Simone work on your hair then you are in kind and extremely specialized hands! Worth every penny and I will always go back to NYC Red Market to see my fairy godmothers Simone and Teela Janet whenever I’m in town for treatment or surgery. New York you are lucky to have Red Market Salon but Red Market Salon you are blessed to have Simone and Teela!!

So hard to find a GREAT hairdresser in NYC. I met David and went to the boutique salon with my friend - we both decided to go through hair revamps (much needed). The Red Market team was able to give us the best advice by challenging our comfort zone. I have never received so many compliments on hair cut and colour - Teela and David are the perfect duo for me. Fun times guaranteed!

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted kindly and were seated very quickly. Got to enjoy a delicious coffee during the consultation, and I got along very well with Ashley. She did a great job cutting & styling my hair, and was very well educated; she's wonderful at explaining the whole process. Overall, the whole staff is very sweet, the service is amazing, and I definitely recommend going to this salon for any of your needs.

It took me almost 4 years to find a "go-to" salon in NYC and Red Market has definitely become my staple. First, they are hair magicians. I have dark brown hair and wanted to experiment with color but had so many concerns about it being brassy. Reynald took such good care of my hair and highlighted it in increments to that I had time to adjust. It's so beautiful that everybody is telling me I should go even lighter. He also gives a killer cut and it's definitely worth the $$. Salon atmosphere is also amazing. They bring you wine and it feels more like a TriBeca loft than a hair salon. They are open late which is amazing for accommodating work schedules. Couldn't recommend them more highly.
