I'm a very picky guy whos been to very expensive salons and very cheap barbers. I'll usually go to several places and then stick with the person that does the best job. Noelle is that person. The salon is very relaxed and chill. Noelle is exceptional and takes the time to explain everything. Great spot.

There's your every day barbershop...you go in and out...and go on with your day. Then there's Fleischman's. From the moment you walk in, the difference in class is very apparent. You are personally greeted, politely asked your drink of choice...and finally seated for a shampoo and relaxing hot towel treatment. After a pamper session as I'd say, one of the various barbers ( Juliana is excellent ) seats you and begins to study your hair. That's where the real difference comes in and that's what makes Fleischman stand out versus any other barbershop. They truly are interested in giving you a "damn good haircut" from both an aesthetic perspective but also from a health and maintenance perspective by providing you tips and tricks catered to your style of hair. I've been very particular about my hair for years, bouncing around back and forth to various barbers with a "OK" cut...however since I started going to Fleischman's, I can finally say I have a " damn good haircut"

I've been going to Jenessa for a year and a half. The original mandate--I have curly hair, I want something more than a short buzz but something still manageable and conservative enough for my job as a consultant too. I've returned every month because she always delivers, remembers what I like and don't like, and is open to helping me experiment while not ending up with something crazy looking. It's been great. I don't feel like I am demanding, but I am picky. I have NEVER had a "place" I can call mine. I highly recommend. The results are worth the price! Of course, all the basics are there too, good atmosphere, entertaining conversation, always punctual with appointments (nice because I usually slip out of work and can be back in under an hour), and can get shampoo, hot towel and rinse.

Fleischman has created the ultimate haircut experience and the salon has set a standard all “Barbershops” need to follow! From the in depth consultation to walking out the door Fleischman educates you on everything they are doing and what you need to do in regards to your hair. Definitely recommended. One of the most unique salon experiences. Did my hair with Noelle, she is very knowledgeable and took time to listen to my suggestions and gave a cut that exceeded my expectations. Shout out to the owner, Leigh who is extremely particular about taking care of customers. Side note, do not go to Janney as she seems to know less/no understanding of customer experience and professionalism. If you happen to do, get a picture of exactly what you need as apparently she is too busy to collaborate with you otherwise.

I used to hate getting haircuts. A few years ago I upgraded to Fleischman. Jenessa has been cutting my hair ever since. The new Paul Stuart location is fantastic. This description is pretty much accurate: "We have created a personal and comfortable one room space, where men are catered to individually. It’s a place he’d want to return to because the process is easy, the worry taken away, trust gained. The salons are earthy and masculine, with leather club chairs, dark-wood floors, complimentary beer and scotch, and what we think is just the right amount of taxidermy. It’s a place a man can feel at home."

Fantastic place to an expert cut in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. All of the staff are easy going but professional. They really focus on you having not only a great haircut, but a great experience all around. You’re greeted warmly with a scotch or beer, do a shampoo, scissor-only bespoke cut, and a rinse + style. The stylists work with you to develop a multi-month program. They’re honest about what you need to have a great look and are real partners in your style. Could not recommend more!

A fantastic experience all around. The staff is welcoming and Noelle is a talented stylist. A great place for people who want to work with a stylist to really do something great with their hair. Price is the only thing costing them 5 stars. The stylists do great work and each visit is absolutely worth the price. But you'll want to go back every 3-5 weeks to keep your hair looking like it did the day you left and without any sort of discounts or rewards system, that gets expensive real fast.

Erica is, without a doubt, an artist of mens' hair and she and every stylist in the studio are deeply committed to making sure the man who sits in the chair leaves looking and feeling like the best possible version of himself. I've recommended countless personal and professional colleagues to all three of Fleischman's locations and get nothing but positive feedback from everyone. It's clear that Erica "hand picks" her whole team and only the best of the best get to hold a pair of scissors at Fleischman. If you want cheap - go to the local barber and get a clipper job. If you want the best - go to Fleischman. This is Manhattan's best men's haircut. Period.

Got the worst haircut by Noelle. Told her how I usually get my hair cut and she insisted i should get it cut differently. The hair sticks out all over the place and the part is all wrong, and her suggestion was to spend 20 minutes every morning with product and blow dryer to keep it in place. The place is not worth the really high cost. They didn't so much as trim the sideburns to blend with the beard or do any clean ups on eyebrows etc. Just a haircut and a bad one at that.

Super pretentious place. They do not have clippers, I suppose so they can take an extra 30 minutes to use scissors, thereby justifying the $30 overcharge you pay (at a minimum). What kind of men's haircut place does not at least have a buzzer in the drawer. I get that it's a "salon" and it's against their "philosophy" but I find it a bit ridiculous. Will never go back.

Noelle (1) saw me at my convenience, (2) was warm and professional at the same time, (3) listened, (4) gave me one of the best haircuts of my whole life, (5) took extra time to show me how to do what she did, and (6) know as much as any hair professional I have ever seen and at the same time was so service oriented that she walked me to the door. Erica somehow manages to both listen and also have a smart pov about the best haircut for you, based not just on the shape of your head but the shape of your life.
