The new flagship salon is bright, modern, fresh and clean. I had my diva of a girlfriend come in from LA for makeup, cut and color. She was so pleased of h tones in her hair and that the stylist followed here instructions of he cut. She has made this her go to salon while in NYC. Congrats Federico!

I arrived at Federico Salon on 19/09/18 in a bit of a panic as i had been let down by a previous hair booking and had dinner reservations. My husband had googled the best salons so we headed here and I was not disappointed. Not only did they squeeze me in at 6pm at night but made me feel right at home. I came out feeling wonderful my hair was gorgeous and I left looking forward to dressing up and going on my date night. Staff here are lovely especially the receptionist!!! They saved my evening thank you x

I was in town for an event in which husband was receiving an award. Having never been to NY, I had made arrangements for another company to come to my hotel room to do my hair. Well.... that company never showed up! A quick call to Federico's from the concierge at my hotel and they said they could take me. I arrived (flustered, not doubt, still annoyed by the other company) and was greeted warmly by the woman behind the counter. She led me back to put a cape on, hung my coat up, and directed me to my chair. Next thing I know, I have a glass of wine in my hands! (Awesome!! I sooooo needed a glass of wine!) My stylist, Ricardo, came over started assessing my hair type/cut/condition and asked what I wanted. I gave a vague description of what I had in mind, but told him I was open to suggestions and he could do what he thinks would be best. As Ricardo went to work, another stylist who was in-between clients came over & offered to help Ricardo by passing him bobby pins. This happened with 2 other stylists as well as Federico stopping by to see how things were going... This shop's staff all work together helping one another. You can tell they all feel like family & that warmth and wanting what's best for the client is quite evident. Many bobby pins later, Ricardo stepped back and OMG!!!! My hair was absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!! Ricardo totally nailed it!!! He listened to what I wanted, improvised with what he thought would look best, and at the end- I couldn't have asked for anything better!!!!! Many thanks to everyone at Federico's that evening! My wine glass was never empty, we had good conversation, and many laughs. I left relaxed and ready for my event. My biggest regret is that Federico's Salon is a plane trip away from home! I can guarantee you, next time I'm in NY, no messing around with anywhere else... I will be at Federico's to get ready for the night!!!

So I go in about a week ago and ask for a specific curly hairstyle I wanted and couldn’t find anyone to perfect it. I kid you not, 20 minutes in Theyre like “All set,” and I’m thinking to myself wow they do not play. When I look in the mirror I looked like a deranged poodle and immediately asked for the manager. So he comes out , this Federico guy and the first thing he does is laugh out loud and I was so angry and embarrassed. I asked for my money back and he told me he will fix it himself. So I trusted him and he ended up leaving me half bald. On top of that he wouldn’t return my money. I’m still recovering from this nightmare. So if anyone thinks about this salon I recommend you do it yourself at home you’re better off!

One of the best salons for color in NYC for sure(the best for me, but I’ll try to be objective). The first thing caught me was Organic Hair Color. I’m from Spain, but I trust Italian completely when it’s about beauty or healthy. Federico Salon uses organic hair line from Italy - Tocco Mágico, which is ammonia free, ppd free and resorcinol free(I checked ingredients!). I feel my hair so natural after this color treatment. Reach them if you need a healthy color procedure. Great!

An amazing place. My mom had a color, and you know what? they do only Organic Hair Color. She got a stylist named Maya, and I asked her does that only you who use Organic Hair Color, but she told no, that is a Federico Salon feature – they are the only one salon in NYC who use that exact product, formulated only with Organic ingredients. like there are NO PPD, NO AMMONIA, NO RESORCINOL in this color, doesnt that great?? Anyhow, I’m very satisfied with the result. And my mom too. Hardly recommend

Agnes was amazing!!! Not only did she make my hair look gorgeous but she was just the sweetest. My hotel room wasn’t ready and I had booked an in-room service and she fit me in at the salon, walked me over there and even let me bring my dog with me. Federico was amazing as well. My pup was being a bit fussy and he just fed him water and gave him all the lovins and even got him a pillow so he could be comfortable in the chair next to me. I can’t say enough about this place! Amazing people and wonderful atmosphere ❤️

I was attending to Met Gala 2018 and Federico with the team was doing my hair. I’ve heard they have done hair and nails for Princess Beatrice, who’s a real granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain for the same event. I saw her, that was a terrific job done! Federico is great! This Salon is doing the best styling in New York for sure, period.

I have wave hair, so I googled and made an investigation who can properly work with curly hair in NYC for me - and I found Federico Salon. I didn’t regret for any second. The guys are so amazing, they use their own curls products, shampoo for curly hair and the fix after the cut. so my hair looks naturally curly afterwards, shiny. that's such a great place! Stylists here at the salon are using organic color products. I feel my hair shiny and healthy now after the treatment. Federico colored my hair with this new organic hair color he uses now. There is a Tsubaki oil in it, everybody knows it is very healthy. and 15 other organic ingredients in color. sorry for a big review, I am just so glad I found this place. thank you so much, Federico !

WOW! I went in there for the first time Friday hoping they could take away the brassiness in my hair and to do a quick cut. What I found was extremely knowledgable stylists and colorists that weren't afraid of my curly hair. I was blown away by the service, the color, the cut, and the styling. In the past, I have walked out of salons just to put my hair in a ponytail because i wasn't completely happy with the way they "tried" to style my curls. This was the first place I have ever walked out of completely happy and wanting to show off my hair. I will definitely be back!
