LaRenia is a genius! I have curly hair, wanted to go shorter but was afraid that it would get too big and puffy. LaRenia gave me the best cut and color of my life. You can tell he's a true artist and loves to do what he does. He listens and takes care of you. 200% recommended.

The woman left a strand of hair like a tail on the back of my head. I had to get it fixed by another place the day after being embarrassed. Just went in to discuss with them and they only offered to get another barber for me next time I go which will be never at this point. For that price I would look elsewhere.

Keisha is very accommodating and you can see he clearly loves his work. I wasn't quite sure which style I wanted except I knew I wanted to have a shoulder length. His suggestions were helpful and he understood the nature of dry and wavy hair like mine. He offered some helpful solutions. He's much more thorough than other stylists I've seen. Even had me flip my hair over to trim the hidden regions of my hair. I'm really happy with the result.

Kisha is the most talented color specialist I've ever encountered. Please know that I am EXTREMELY particular about my hair.. it's long and curly and does weird things when unsuspecting stylists approach. Yet in comes Kisha full of amazing abilities and creativity and in one stroke masterfully showed said "crazy hair" who was boss. The end result is nothing short of glorious and for that dear Kisha I'm incredibly grateful.

It's a really nice environment with almost all friendly staff. The reason it's missing a star is because I was getting a haircut from a barber who just started there and one if the veteran employee was treating her nasty and talking down to her, especially when there were clients there. I just felt like it was disrespectful and she should of taken her to the side when no one was around to let her know where to put certain thing at. Other then that it was great.

This spot is stunning. Dinner neighborly. Fit. Also, reasonable. Karen did my cherished one's hair today. She was stimulated. Marie mined. Only a trim and a facial hair shave. In any case, precisely what I required. The district is unfathomable. Appropriate close to the metro and a huge amount of other shopping/bistros. The salon is impeccable and open late as well. Will be back. This is eventually our regular spot.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience was SO fabulous at the fig salon, I needed the whole city New York to know just how amazing this hair salon is. Everyone knows, it's really hard these days to find a good stylist - look no further ladies, Keisha to the rescue! She was absolutely fantastic; first of all, she's super sweet, attentive and will pick up right away what kind of look you're looking for (and deliver on it!!). I was so happy with the results, she really nailed the exact haircut and style I wanted. Besides Keisha being extremely talented, the whole salon experience was very pleasant. In fact, they were running a little late and gave me a discount as a thank you for waiting gesture, which I found really nice of them to do. The entire staff is friendly and the products they use (Evo) are phenomenal - the smell is intoxicating! There's a reason why this place has so many positive reviews, so if you won't take my word for it, take everyone else's! Go. Now!
