At least 85% of the haircuts, color, styling I have received in the past has been terrible at other places, so I was naturally worried about having my hair done. Let me tell you ALMA is the absolute best! I have never found someone better. I love my hair color, cut and style and all my friends and family loved it too! So glad I actually found and amazing hair professional !

the worst place they charged me twice for my hair please don’t go to this place, there is this spanic lady in the front desk she was the one that charged me two times i had to go to the bank and put a report on them if i knew this i would have never gone here but there is always a first time.

I am a native New Yorker and moved to Georgia about 2 years ago. I came back this week on vacation to see my family. I received a horrible haircut in GA and vowed to find a salon in NY to save my hair. ( it was a long bob, everyone appears to have the same haircut in my town). I met Olga and she saved my hair!!! I was so happy with the haircut, it was exactly what I was looking for! Staff was friendly and I had a great experience!!! Good job, Olga you were wonderful!!! Great place!

Great salon. I have already came 3-4 times to do my hair color with Yvelisse. She is the best, from the first time she understood exactly what I wanted; I have told her I wanted a natural look and in the past have had bad experiences in other salons and ended up changing back to my normal color. She got the idea, and the results were awesome! I have came back to do volagaye with her since then. Highly recommended!!

Had a really bad experience at the salon. Nutshell: - felt rushed - not clean (floor not regularly swept) - front desk staff was not friendly and even curt at times - was not offered anything to drink (heard several people ask for water) - stylist was rough with my head and not good with curly hair. Details: I had called and scheduled an appointment and had let them know I have very curly hair, and asked for someone who's good with curls. I arrived about 20 minutes late (which I apologized for). But everything felt rushed as soon as I walked in the door. My stylist (a man, I couldn't hear his name) clearly was not good with curly hair as he used a brush and a fine tooth comb for my thick curly hair (Thick Curly Hair 101 is always use a wide tooth comb, and never use a brush). He was very rough with my head during the shampoo and blowout. I have pretty thick skin for that type of thing, but I finally had to tell him to stop because he was hurting me. I'm a bit worried how the cut will turn out after I wash/style it my way. When I went to check out, I gave my name to the receptionist, and she quipped "I know". Not sure if this treatment was because I was using a groupon or because I was late or what, but I had hoped to find my new go to salon. This for sure won't be it.

I went to Blondi's Salon today and I must say Boushra is an amazing stylist. I have difficult to manage hair and I have never had such an excellent and precise haircut as I have gotten with Boushra. And my COLOR! Gorgeous! She is such a creative artist, she formulated the perfect shade highlights and color for me. I am thrilled! Besides all this, she was so funny and a great listener. She is such a sweetheart. I HIGHLY recommend Boushra!

Diane is super attentive to your hair needs, and offers suggestions (some to help cut costs!) She is very accommodating and gives clear explanations about all services. She is highly professional and focused on her work, and not into the whole chatty bff thing; she just does her job and does it very well with a calm and pleasant attitude.

Julia the massage therapist was AMAZING!!! She's very friendly amd makes you feel comfortable. Her warm personality makes you feel welcome and she seems to care that you are there for stress relief. She's definitely gifted to be an excellent massage therapist. She knew exactly the areas to concentrate. So happy that I chose this Groupon massage spot. I left there feeling recharged and stress free.

I don't normally get massages and to get one at a beauty salon I was having some reservations , but they made you feel welcome and not awkward. The massage was amazing really got relaxed and would definitely come again. They also offer packages and member reduced prices, so if you really have bad muscle sores or lazy with stretching, might be a worth while investment.

Just happened upon this great salon in the Upper West Side while on a short trip with my daughter in NYC. They took great care of us as I got a haircut a dye job and she got a cut and eyelash extensions. Great prices and wonderful staff. Ask for Lilly! She did a phenomenal color correction and worked extremely fast as we had a flight to catch. She took the time to explain her step by step process and even how to maintain my color in the future.

Initially helpful. Sandy on 106th St. was an excellent hair cutter, but i did not have a repeat experience at their other location. Some desk staff were snotty and gave out misleading information. However most of the Stylists are very service oriented.

Today I got my eyelashes done for the first time. The technician showed me samples and we discussed what I was expecting. When she finished the eyelashes were not done as we discussed or like the picture, the left side does not match the right side, she got glue in my eyes. I would suggest she practice more on a mannequin head. When you do work on someone’s eyes, extreme care and caution must be used. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back. Thanks.

Horribly disappointing experience. My teenage daughter went in for help making a hair donation to Locks of Love. After extensive consultation about how much hair was required and how much to leave, the stylist completely ignored her instructions and removed 5” more than necessary, leaving my daughter with a super short bob, not at all the shoulder length hair that she wanted and had discussed with the stylist.

I had a bad experience there and I will never go back again. The manager name is Marlene B. she changed my appointment time without calling me, so when I arrived Marlene B told me I have to wait for an hour. She said “I can give you one complimentary spa service or facial” Which I agreed for a facial. So I decided to wait for an hour. Julia is the esthetician there she told me she has a special microdermabrasion machine that will clean my face, Julia scrubbed the brush so hard I had so much bruises, redness on my face. She wasn’t pleasant at all. Julia estheticians went way too deep after 24 hours my Whole face scabbed over 5 days later and people still think i was dragged on the ground on concrete. I will definitely won’t go back and I DON’T want the complimentary facial.

I was very satisfied with this salon for a number of months - having gone from dark brown to platinum blonde hair. After a regular appointment for a root touch-up, I noticed a significant amount of my hair began to fall out as well as breakage. I'm aware of the chance of hair loss with the use of bleach, but when a third of my hair was lost, I called for an answer. Without my knowledge, a different bleach was used during the touch-up. It took 4-5 calls over a week to the receptionist to finally reach the salon owner for a refund I was told not to expect. Luckily, the salon also provided deep-conditioning treatments, but lost a returning client.

I bought 2 Groupons One for a Thai Massage - when the women started the massage it was not Thai and she had no idea what that was - waste!!!! Then I bought a hair keratin- been having 4 years at another place that charges $105 fir 24 hr. My guy was away so I tried Blondie and 3 day treatment cost $90 with Groupon. Sadly the treatment one week later my looks so bad I look like I am in month 3 with kinks in my hair . Aweful By the way as per mention in other reviews the manager is rather rude

Today was my first time at Blondi's . I came in for a deep Tissue Massage with Rivka. This was by far the best massage i've ever experienced! She listened to me when i explained the areas that needed attention (most massage therapist I've been to ask but never focus on those my trouble spots) She also gave tips on things that i could do at home . Rivka has a very sweet and friendly disposition and soothing voice. I rate great massages by how relaxed and sleepy i get afterwards. I went right to bed! I will be a regular and am going for the 90 minute next time.

Mi wife went there to get a haircut and dyed It was great Johnny is a really nice guy and did an excellent job but we had an incident with the card , they didn’t handle the situation professionally with attitude the girl on the front gave my wife the worse costumer service . I called next day and try to solve the problem because it seem that I was charger she was rude and couldn’t care less about it instead of try to solve it , she didn’t even consider what was happening definitely wouldn’t recommend it If you know the people working try to make an appointment privately but costumer service is the worst .

I haven't had time to get a massage in 6 years & Jenny made me wonder why I waited so long. I have a sciatic nerve & I sprained my neck a few few back & she worked that out so good that I will be back in a few weeks, as well as every month atleast after. I should've been doing this a long time ago. Next time, I will take a Uber because I don't know how I'm going to drive home feeling so relaxed...
