Edit: after a few days, I started to get frizzy hair near the roots everywhere. I went to the other place and they told me that Aube did a horrible job. Apparently they missed several area. Wouldn't go back there again.

I’m editing an earlier review. In my previous review I was so happy with my hair styling. However I hadn't had an actual haircut (only styling) until this weekend. I unfortunately have to say that I’m disappointed. I will of course lead with the fact that I walked in without an appointment because I had time to kill in the neighborhood and needed a haircut so that’s my fault for not booking with the most experienced stylist. Unfortunately I was matched with whatever stylist that was open. I came because my hair was getting way too long and it gets overly heavy at the bottom so I get some long layers and face framing pieces. The layers that I got are not at all gradual and very blunt, the lengths don't make any sense, and there was an entire chunk that was an inch longer than the rest, which I had to fix myself the next day. At the end of the day, it's hair and it grows back. However money doesn't grow back and I'm super irritated that I spent $100 to get a very messy and not hip haircut.

Doris is such a sweet lady, and I've been going to her for years, for cuts and color both. I have asian hair, which I consider a blessing, but it takes a special skill to cut it and make it stylish, and Doris definitely has that. I always leave there feeling like a million bucks!

Beautiful and clean hair salon. Staff was very friendly. I love the Japanese style of the hair salon: same person washes, cuts, and styles your hair as well as the hair washing chairs. This was my first visit here. I've read so many great write ups in the Chopsticks magazine...I had to come see for myself. I really enjoyed my haircut with Kiyoshi (Kiyo) Asada. He took the time out to go over my hair - style, texture, and health of my hair. This was the best haircut I ever got in my life! My hair was so soft from the scalp spa treatment and I love how it looks. Highly recommend! You can make appointments online, very convenient.

I came here for the promotion “Just cut $29” since I needed a simple fix. There was about 2 customers in the store. The guy with short-Hair was super inpatient that he only spent like 10 min chopping my hair, not to mentioned that he threw the mirror close to my face to “show” me my new hair cut at the end. Worst salon I’ve been to ever.

Came here for balyage. Staff was very kind. Def bring photos as English may not be their first language. Color was honestly not good enough to go back again but not bad enough to complain. Middle of the road experience for me. Extra stars for clean modern facilities and politeness of service.
