I started coming here once we bought our house in the village in 2009. Always had a good cut, my Wife suggest StyleAmerica or Walmart, but I will not waver, these guys do it right. They recently moved, and the old building was torn down to make way for a car wash. Wife doesn't care for the clientele, but they do a great job.

Worse haircut I've ever had. I am pretty much bald on top so all he had to do was clean up the sides and some how the guy screwed that up. Also probably the worst thing about the place was the music. The music playing was full of bad language and they just let it play even when small children had walked in. Not very professional or respectful in my opinion. Horrible experience and I strongly recommend people not go there. I know I will never return. Village barbershop just north on 47 is much better.

This barber shop was awesome I would highly recommend my son is 5 and does not let anyone cut his hair the gentleman we went to today was amazing my son actually let him use the clippers and my son has never been so excited about a hair cut he was telling everyone we saw that he loved it also I was referred to them by a 7 year old who also enjoys getting his hair cut there which is very impressive considering he knew the name and where to go and gave me his explanation on why he enjoys there his personal review was the whole reason why I went there and me and my son were not disappointed loved the fact that I just walked in the people were friendly and talked it up with my son to help him not be scared of the clippers this is my new place to take him they have my business from now

We went one day to get my husband's hair cut, we walked in and the guy told my husband " it was 30.00, for a haircut because he walked in late" . Never greeted us or nothing , he was all ghetto acting with us. We used to go to another lady named Lucero but we no longer go to her because she is in the same building and also never has time.

reason being majority of these dudes, either deal, or do drugs. watch their eyes if you dont believe me. .. tons of shady things going on here, went and got a hair cut asked for something specific guy messed up my hair and told me I need to pay for the hair cut. Never again will I visit this place

My experience was awful I didn't ask for anything hard either I said I wanted a fade and just the ends of my hair trimmed on top and that's not really what I got instead the stylist gave me a barely blended fade and tried lining up my hair without asking me and shaved 2 patches into my front hairline and made my hair uneven on top and rushed me out the door before I could see it. I asked for them to fix it and they want to charge me full price

I got a haircut there a few months ago and they did a nice job. Prices were fair. My second visit wasn't great. I waited in the lobby for 10 minutes. 8 minutes into waiting someone else showed up. 2 minutes later he was seated before me. Never going back. Rude and unprofessional

My sons grandparents took my son in for a haircut- a razor fade and 8 on top. There’s a patch of hair left on the back that’s longer than the rest and it looks like an uneven bowl cut at the very top part of his head. No fading at all. It’s shorter in the front than the back.. This is the worst place ever. Don’t ever go here. I wish I could attach a picture cuz it sounds like I’m overreacting- it’s that bad.

The haircut and general service is fine. My complaint is the pricing. They have a sign just outside the door saying that a normal haircut costs $10. I asked for a normal haircut and ended up paying about $13. Even with tax, it should've been no more than $10.80 at the most. Never coming here again. I'd rather go somewhere that's honest about the pricing, Like Jake's Barber Shop just down the street.

This is the worst barbershop in a 40 mile radius, at least in VC. I will never go back to this place they only know how to do one haircut and wont even try to do what you ask. Save your time save your money and go somewhere else. Horrible shop, prices are getting higher, this place just downright sucks.

I found them to be extremely friendly and they joked with my son as he got probably the best haircut he's gotten in Los Lunas in a good 3 years. He took his time on it and it only cost $13.00 which I've been paying more other places for crappy haircuts. Needless to say my son said he's going back to him from now on and I agree.

Me and my husband just recently moved to Los Lunas, my brother usually cuts my husband's hair because he has a barber shop in Old Town in Albuquerque. So we decided to give New York Barbershop a try and Jose who cut my husband's hair did a great job was very friendly and took his time to make sure it was just the way my husband wanted it! The only issue I had for anybody who's ever been here was the owner's son! For people who have been in the shop before they know there's a big TV when you walk in to your right and there's about four chairs by the TV lined up against the wall. When I first walked in and Jose took my husband and sad I'm in his chair, I started putting my my baby's car seat and diaper bag and person Etc on one of the chairs closest to the TV I did not notice the TV was even there because there was nothing playing at the time it was off. And I kept noticing a guy looking in my direction with my peripheral View. So then finally after I put everything down and got my daughter comfortable I then heard the TV blast Louder Than Hell waking up my daughter scaring her! And then I asked him kindly I said oh I'm sorry I did not notice the TV was right there and my in your way? To which he replied yes you are in my way! I thought this was very very unprofessional so I had to get my daughter's car seat diaper bag my purse my husband stuff and move out of his way so he could watch That 70s Show! I was disgusted with his lack of professionalism and overall demeanor after all we were paying customers! I don't know if anybody has ever had any problems with this guy before or if he's even a barber or he just sits on his ass all day on his phone or what! I don't know his name I just know that his mom is the owner!

yo if you like looking like a dumb person w a blind barber this ain't the place for you , but if you like looking LIKE THE FRESHEST MF NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO THIS IS THE PLACE YOU WANNA GO TO. $14 sick ass mohawk, line up, fade. all done best ive ever had.... UPDATE i just got my hair dyed here, a platinum blonde. they did exactly what i wanted. i have jet black hair and they did it and my hair didn't even turn yellow or orange they did it perfectly.

I love this place!!!!! We have fone to lots of barbers and no luck.. Always come out looking worse than he came in... The owner Lucero does an amazing job!!!!! Her son is really good too... She is a really barber that does grate fades... Recomend it to all my friends n family
