Last time I went to mark Prado at Nob Hill the Master stylist colored my hair orange despite my request for honey brown. She came to the appointment and did not have her kit/tools and I waited over an hour for her mother to deliver them. Oh yeah the services were more than 150.00. That was over a year ago. I decided to give Prado another chance because my neighbor raved about. Won't even go to the appointment-so rude and this pyramid scheme of very expensive hair services simply makes this over priced salons owner quite rich.

My girl went in for a perm and took them over 5 hours. Front desk hostess was rude and asked me to the the area she was getting worked on to go wait in the front

I went with my aunt trying to find a new hair salon, thinking that this would be a nice place to conduct business...I was wrong. We waited 30+ minutes while the receptionists and hairstylists dragged their feet. Not to mention the hairdresser was late to an appointment that we scheduled in advance. I definitely would recommend finding a diferent salon.

Lizzi J. is a supremely talented colorist - she's been coloring my hair regularly for several years now, and I get compliments all the time - her work is exceptional, and she's great to talk with too! Also, the quality of the Aveda hair color products is superb. My hair and scalp is in excellent condition, despite regular coloring. Highly recommend.

I went in for a simple cut/highlight. I had been growing my hair out for a year, having one other cut in January. I went to this location in July and my hair was past my shoulders. I asked the stylist to even out the two layers, which she said would put it just above my shoulders, and she asked if I wanted a few face framing layers, to which I said yes... I watched her start cutting in the back and it was already too late. She cut the shortest layer 2-3 inches above my shoulders. She cut multiple layers all around, not just a few in the front. I am almost back to where I started, it's shorter than the trim that I had in January. I didn't say anything before leaving because I thought I could sit with it for a week or two and it would be fine - however the cut now takes more maintenance then before and it looks terrible if I don't round brush/blow dry, whereas if she had done as I asked, it would dry straight and be just fine. My hair is at my CHIN. Not "just above my shoulders." When I think about how long I waited growing it out, it makes me want to cry thinking I have to go through all that again. I'm very upset, and there isn't anything that can really be done at this point. I can barely pull it all into a pony tail, before I could put it in a twisted bun. Best thing I can say is at least the highlights came out well...

I had a bridal emergency when my usual hair dresser flaked out on me 2 days before my wedding. Mark Pardo SalonSpa in Nob Hill squeezed me in with Rachel and allowed enough time for a consultation. Rachel made my makeup look fabulous and she did a great updo. I can't say how much I appreciate her patience with me. I'm not very good at describing what I want in the way of updos, but she really worked with me. Rachel did a wonderful job. I would recommend her to any bride!

I went for my first time last week and I loved it! Lizzie was great and the whole experience was very relaxing. They do a neck and scalp massage before the cut which is awesome. And the whole thing was surprisingly affordable especially since they do $15 off your first time. Definitely don't go here if you are in a rush. The cut look an hour and a half. But well worth it for me!

Hello, My daughter had scheduled her second hair color appointment with your salon. Each appointment scheduled was for a complete color. During the first color, the stylist had begun the color process before divulging the fact the color application would require modifications due to the time allotted. This was in spite of details provided verbally and confirmation of the full description of what was wanted at the time the appointment was scheduled. The second appointment was scheduled for today (Friday, April 6, 2018). Once again a detailed description of the hair coloring process was provided at the time the appointment was made with your salon. Fortunately, the stylist was forthcoming and told us that the time allowed would not be sufficient to complete the hair color process. I will never come back to your salon. One time for a confused and miscommunicated hair color. However, twice - this total disregard for customer satisfaction - This is unacceptable. My money is tight. My daughter has made high honor roll each grading period and today was notified that she is a member of the National Honor Society. I am disappointed in your care and service and will not seek your services in the future. People seeking services should feel and believe they are cared for by those providing the service. I would not provide a star. However, I had to mark one star to post this review

I took my girlfriend her to put some blonde in her hair on 2/23/18 and got quoted $109+tax when she got done and i was ready to pay thinking it was going to be about $115 or so ,with out asking me or asking her they charged me $148. With some change , to put more blonde! "thats what they said" That isnt right and NOT cool . yes i payed but I WILL NOT go there AGAIN nor will i recommend ANYONE HERE!

There are good stylists, great stylists, and then there is Brent at Mark Pardo, who has been my go-to stylist for almost 10 years now. He has an incredible talent and work ethic and an amazing personality to boot. He teaches at Mark Pardo, too, so - if you can - try to get one of his students as your new stylist: Brent is turning out a whole new generation of talent.
