Aaron Beasley gave me exactly what I wanted with my hair. As he was cutting it, he told me what he was doing so that I knew what was going on. He even showed me multiple different ways to style it. Everyone was super friendly and even put me in a better mood! Phenominal experience!!

Today was my first time with Melinda. I am always so cautious about who I choose because of past horror stories, I can honestly say I'm 100% satisfied. She did a wonderful job turning my box colored over due brown hair to a gorgeous neutral balayage. She is very sweet and affordable as well. I love it, definitely will be back with her from now on and will never box dye my hair again (desperate mistake). Love ya girly!

Terrible experience...Talia did a good job but the product used for my Brazilian blowdry contained methylene glycol which releases formalin and is a potential carcinogen.My treatment caused my eyes to water continuously and my skin to get irritated.I wish I was told that there was a potential carcinogen and irritant in the product being used on my hair. Since I’m getting a PhD in cancer research I’m really worried and stressed out about the outcome of this treatment as it poses a health hazard not just for the customer but the people who work there as well...very unhappy....please inform the customer about potential health risks before using a product

I went in for blond highlights and to get my grey covered up. What i got from Melinda is a hot mess. My hair is gray/green and totally fried and brittle. OMG i have never been so upset by a stylest. Best believe i will be there in the morning to get someone who knows what they are doing to fix it.

Honestly it was everything I wanted. Hip, professional, up to date on fashion styles, and so helpful. So I decided to cut off all my hair but I needed the place where I felt most comfortable. I was weary about the outside at first, but I walked in and I knew it was perfect. The stylists are young and sweet (and not to mention hot af). They were honest with me when they told me I probably couldn't go as short as I wanted, which I greatly appreciated. So Daniel was the one to do the deed and damn. I look really good. It wasn't what I wanted because what I wanted wouldn't have looked as good as what he did. They also had a student discount which was kickass. Anyways, I highly recommend this place, there's no way I'm going anywhere else in Albuquerque to get my hair done.

Im very disappointed in the outcome of my "balayage" from Melinda. I went in with a reference picture of her own work and it came out looking absolutely nothing like I wanted. It was supposed to be dark brown with subtle caramel balayage with absolutely no blonde. There was still gray hair and came out with 80% blonde (yellow to orange), 10% dark brown, and 10% red. I know that you can't walk in with a picture and leave with the same exact look, but if It was so far beyond her capabilities she should have declined or offered an alternative during my consultation. It actually looks like I did this at home and ruined my hair. I paid a lot of money and tipped very well when I should have walked out. I don't even trust her enough to complain and have them fix it. Now I am going to pay even more to get it fixed. I expected so much more because of the photos she posts to Instagram but I've heard from some of those clients that they believe she uses Photoshop and filters because their outcome looks nothing like what's potrayed on the pictures. In fact I am going to another stylist that already had to color correct her work. She even took a picture and didn't post it or share it with me because she clearly wasn't even happy or proud of her own work. I can't speak for the rest of the salon but if this is happening they should be aware.

Just came to this salon for the second time and it was awesome! I always request Briana as my stylist and she does such an amazing job on my hair. The salon was very clean and modern and just had a really great vibe. The salon is a little pricey but totally worth it ! Can't wait to come back again

As a male living in an era where masculinity is a dying trait, I'm not very fond of the 'salon' scene. But this salon has given me a new perspective on where a male can go to get his hair cut. Vanessa has done an outstanding job cutting/styling my hair, the 'vibe' and appearance of the salon is quite pleasing and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an upgrade from their usual hair styling businesses.

Daniel is AMAZING! I have been bitter with Salons and Hair dressers for many years. They have never given me what I want and I have quietly suffered for years. I havent had my hair cut in about 7 months due to not wanting to deal with the headache of disappointment but I got to the point where I was in desperate need. I researched and stumbled upon Inspire Uptown Salon and fate sent me to Daniel's chair (due to the fact he was the first stylist with an opening). And thank GOD! He is so wonderful and precise. My hair has never felt or looked this good. Thank you thank you thank you Daniel! I will be seeing you again!

Have been going here for years! Great men's cut! I see Daniel and he does an amazing job and is a great conversationist as well! When I can't get in with Daniel, Taliha is also amazing but really everyone here is! Reception staff are lovely as well and they have water and tea available while you wait (which is almost never long with an appointment).

Let me just say that i wish you could get a refund when someone ruins your hair and makes you hate to go into public cause if you could I would get one...I went to Kimberly cause I saw she had great reviews but all those people must have had long hair cause she made some huge mistakes cutting my hair short...I took in a picture of dana lynn bailey and left with nothing like it...I know it can't look exactly like the picture but she literally just cut the back of my hair super short and left the sides the same length she didn't connect it at all and when I asked her to fix it she pulled out her thinning shears and I have THIN THIN hair. ...I went to someone else to try to fix it(which shouldn't happen south a $55 haircut) and he asked if I went to a school because he's never seen something so horrible he even said it looked like I had 2 long dog ears. ... so now I don't even want to go out in public with my thinned out worthless hair and I wish Kimberly would have just said she wasn't comfortable doing the cut and II wish I didn't spend my money on a big ball of sadness
