Elan Hair Studio is the best salon experience in our area. The staff are professionally trained and educated experts in their field. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing, a true salon experience. My favorite artist is Ashley Rose who gives the best scalp treatment and massage. I never do without this treatment. Her expertise in hair styling, color and blow outs won't leave you disappointed. I am absolutely sickened over what I was charged for a blowout. I came here because my regular salon is closed on Sundays and I had an event to attend. This is one of the few blowout bars in the area and the prices on the website SEEMED reasonable, even though definitely more than what I pay at my normal salon. The website has blowouts listed for $35-45 depending on skill level. When I went to checkout, I was charged $66 (!!!!!!!!!) for a blowout. That doesn't include the tip I added on. I was charged extra due to having extensions in my hair and the length. I'm sorry, but if that's a policy, you need to be much more transparent about what you really are going to charge people. AND to add insult to injury, my curls had all fallen out by the time I got home (approx 10 minutes away from salon). All in all a completely disappointing experience at an otherwise very lovely but completely overpriced salon.

She is AMAZINGLY talented with color, and fully understands the texture of your hair and what will work with it. I bring my daughters to her too. And even though I have moved over an hour away I still make the trip to see her when I need my hair worked on. She is fantastic and a wonderful person too!

Highly recommend going to Tori. I've been getting my hair done by her for years and she never disappoints. I typically can only vaguely describe the look I want, we discuss it and go over some ideas, and the end product is ALWAYS beautiful. I get the halo bali and cut - she's a master at hair painting (your hair will still look good months later as it grows out) and the cut is always perfect. She's really good at adopting your vision and executing it, or giving it her own flair if you ask for it. With her up-to-date cutting and coloring techniques, it usually looks even better than what you'd envisioned.

Very expensive and not up to par with salons in area. They have no idea what they are doing. I'm not quite sure how they remain in business. Very cold and impersonal experience. Elan is definitely not the best in the area. I shared my experience with another salon owner. She said her girlfriend works here and she got her hair done once and she could not believe it herself. They ruined her hair as well. Sister went once, same experience. I could do better with a $10 box of highlights at target. My hair looked better when i did it myself versus spending several hundred here. Extremely misleading and try to feed you lies to make you buy more.

Complimentary scalp massage after my shampoo and conditioning treatment was amazing! Nikki was my stylist - she was so sweet and did an incredible job with my hair! I went from a blonder sun-kissed brunette balayage to a darker brunette and she nailed it. It still has beautiful dimension and shine! I already booked my next appointment and am excited to have found my new go-to salon!

All of the hairdressers at Elan are true artists, and you can tell they have an internal vision when you describe what your hair desires are. All are super understanding of the coloring process, and will walk you through the appropriate steps to get to your ideal color. The environment is also really relaxing, with the best scalp messages during washing/conditioning. I always refer my friends to Elan if they're looking for trustworthy, knowledgable, and passionate hairdressers.

Jill did a fantastic job matching my color and suggesting a glaze to accomplish the color I was asking for. Ranin was able to give me a much needed haircut instead of a blowout. Ariel gave my 13-year old daughter a spectacular haircut - a complete transformation from shoulder-length hair to a stylish pixie cut! Ariel also took the time to teach her how to style the new hairdo with either finger combing or some minimal blowdryer effort. She even showed my daughter some different looks with the new short cut - bangs down & forward vs. pushed back with a headband. Ariel has tremendous technical skill, as evidenced by the gorgeous precision cut, and she really took time and attention with my (somewhat nervous!) daughter. She gives an awesome scalp massage (with aromatherapy!), too. The whole experience at Elan was 5 stars

TAYLOR! I could not be more satisfied in my experience with Taylor at Elan Hair Studio! I typically get my hair cut at a barber shop but my usual barber was too busy and could not fit me in. A friend of mine suggested Elan. I was hesitant at first because I had never been to a "Salon" before and thought it was a place where only woman would go, But I was WRONG! Even though I called last minute they fit me right in! When I arrived the girl at the front counter was more than welcoming when she offered me a coffee, took my jacket, and brought me right in to meet Taylor. I explained to Taylor how I've been getting my hair cut by the same barber for the past 10 years and that I was a little nervous.. Taylor reassured me that I had come to the right place and she would take care of everything. We discussed the hair style I had in mind and she went to work! She was very pleasant and engaging the entire time and made me feel comfortable in this foreign place. I could not get over how attentive she was and her eye for detail. This was not only the best experience I had ever had getting my hair cut but it was by far the best my hair has ever looked! I never thought a "Hairstylist" could replace my barber but Taylor made me a believer!!! Taylor and the staff at Elan are the most professional and friendly staff I have ever dealt with and I will be back to see TAYLOR very soon!

When I moved from Chicago there were a number of things to check-off my "to do" list - one of them being: find an awesome salon and stylist to give my hair quality color and cuts. I luckily found Elan and haven't been to another salon since. In fact, I now travel down from New York because Elan is that great! The minute I walked in the door I knew I was in good hands. The reception staff is extremely friendly and will do anything they can to get you in - even if it's last minute. Shelby is my stylist - she is literally the BEST! She gives you exactly what you are looking for, even if you didn't know what you wanted. I walk out of Elan feeling like a new person knowing my hair looks great. I can"t say enough about this salon! I colored my hair with an at home color kit....my hair came out fire engine red! I drove to Elan in a panic. The girls at the front desk were so sweet and said they would have a color specialist come for a consultation.. Ranin looked at my hair and said she would use a process that would be the most gentle on my hair. It did take a while but I could not believe Ranin was able to get all the neon red out. She then went over colors to redye my hair. My color came out beautiful! My next appointment I came back for a cut and summer highlights. I could not be happier!! I got so many compliments on my hair when I changed my profile picture I had to contact Ranin so she could read all the praise on the job she had done. Ranin is not only a very sweet and compassionate person, she is a miracle worker! I am now a loyal customer and my sister was so impressed she is too.

I love getting my nails done here- Amalia is PHENOMENAL. Best gel manicures I’ve ever gotten. I no longer let anyone else touch my nails. Her attention to detail and care for the health of my nails is meticulous. You can tell she is experienced, and I love that she never uses a drill or anything harsh to file my nails.
