Since my long-time hair stylist had passed away years ago, I have been to countless salons without satisfaction. I have finally been fortunate enough to find Core and Vinnie in particular. He has done a fantastic job cutting, styling and applying glaze to my hair. At last, I am getting complements on it! Also, Vinnie has been great about explaining what will and what won't work for my hair. I was also very pleased with the young lady (sorry but I don't recall her name) who washed/massaged my hair. I highly recommend Core.

I happened to connect with this Salon via Groupon a few years back. Needless to say I have never had to visit another Salon since. The comments regarding prices you pay is not an issue for me as it is a reflection of the quality and the highly educated staff. The importance of loyalty and confidence of such a trusted profession I know is shared by the customers of whom I sit next too. Moreover, it is uncommon in todays world to walk into a business be recognized, genuinely welcomed and greeted by your first name, this is true of the environment of Core Salon. A five star rating is underrated.

Michelle and her staff are amazing. Besides their warm personalities, their skills are top notch. My hair always looks beautiful and I am complimented practically on a daily basis for my cut or color. Recently their staff also did hair and makeup for my wedding. Not only was I thrilled with how it came out but my step daughters were as well. Without a doubt, the best salon in the area.

I paid $60 for a Haircut by a stylist thar was well rated and recommemded. I was not happy with my cut, as I went in with long hair and asked for an asympetrical bob. I was sent home with short hair, and a long bang. I was offered a free haircut to fix the cut, but as I had so little hair left, I didn't want to chance another bad haircut, especially considering Christy was supposed to be an expert in short hair. Not impressed. Cut lacked texture, was flat and left hair looking limp and lifeless.

Core Salon has a staff that is extremely professional and always courteous. But most importantly, the stylists are excellent and I have always been extremely happy with my results. I almost always go to Laura, who is awesome at cutting my curly hair. You should try them out...You won't be disappointed!

Nice clean place, friendly staff but the worst haircut I have ever had. I always try a new place and never been disappointed even when I chopped my hair really short. But after a haircut from here, I don’t feel like going out! Update - Core salon management contacted me and offered consultation with their Art Director Vincent. He is amazing, understood my concerns and helped me style it better. Gave me a new haircut which suits my style. Really appreciate that they are willing to spend more time to satisfy clients.

Core Salon is the most professional and welcoming Salon in Randolph. Michelle, the owner is warm and friendly, as well as the entire staff. The front desk staff welcomes you with a smile and offers a hot or cold drink and also takes your coat to hang for you. The massage while your hair is being washed is the best! The stylists are all wonderful, and recently Heather has been working on my thick unruly hair and cutting it beautifully. They take the time to sit you down and ask what you want, before they begin. I recommend Core to all my friends. You will not be disappointed!

It's really weird that they charge $30 for a toner when you get a balayage (you are not informed about it when making the appointment) - I have used different salons before and was never charged for it. Other than that, the front desk staff is friendly and the haircuts are great.

My entire experience at Core Salon was really great! As a newer client, I was looking for a change and met Michelle the owner as a walk-in. She clearly had an understanding of what I was looking for as far as my hair and in a stylist. She has a profound confidence in her styling team. I have received tons of compliments since Vinnie did my hi-lites. He is an extremely knowledgeable and talented artist and my hair seriously looks better than ever. Halle cut and styled my daughter's very long hair and she is thrilled! Her hair looks gorgeous and is all set to grow longer and healthier than it was before! The front desk team is friendly & courteous. They immediately took my coat & offered coffee, tea & water. The girl who shampooed & conditioned my hair was pleasant to speak to & courteous. I have great confidence in my new salon and it's great that it's so close to home for me right here in Morris county!

If you are looking for a great Hair cut, you really need to contact Core Salon & Spa! I've been going there for a well over a year now, and love it! Each time I get my hair cut I feel revitalized!! Not only do they offer great Stylists, they do not push any one product as some salon's try to do. If you ask for help in picking out a product from shampoo, conditioners to straightening products, they will help you in giving you the best one for your hair type, but will not just push products on you. I would recommend Core to EVERYONE!!!!!

Last time I go here. I wanted a lob and bangs not that hard since that was my previous cut, minus the bangs. Was talked out of bangs, and given a faceframe instead? I'm not even sure what I walked out with besides something that can't be fixed, unless i cut my hair shorter. It was a cut, that the stylist knew how to do, not what I wanted . I told her many times I use a wand in my hair daily. I'll be able to use a wand right, nope. The face frame is so frayed I can't even straighten my hair, I can't even straighten my hair because of the bad layering job. I walked out looking like I was out of the 60's. I am so upset. Won't be going back here again.

I had a good experience for a while but lately the quality of the service has been going down. The last haircut a few days ago was a desaster. I went for a small adjustment to a medium length bob and I ended up with a ridiculously short and thin hair that looks like it was chopped. I literally have hols in it. I'm not going back.
