My experience there was and continues to be AMAZING! any locals who need their hair done by a true professional and get results they expect in a salon, call Taryn York for an appointment! She has helped me go from dark brown to red, and back multiple times, including an amazing blonde. Shes a master mixer if I do say so myself. :) Always clean and smells so good! In the heart of Reno, easy to get to by foot, bike, car and bus! Again, if you, male or female, want a professional experience and not a "just out of beauty school" experience, contact Slice Salon. Plus, there isn't a bunch of 'caddy', immature girls gossiping around you while you try to relax! You wont be sorry! -A Happy and Loyal Local!

Courtney is literally the best stylist I've ever had and I've been returning to her since our first session. She's done amazing stuff for my hair and showed me how to keep it healthy in between cuts. It's pricey but worth it

Sarah was the 2nd profesional to have ever cut my hair. My first hair cut was at a chain. Sarah has been the coolest person ever. I come to her every month to touch up my hair. The only bad thing about this review is that slice isn't the one cutitng my hair, but from what I gather they are housing some awesome people. But if Sarah ever leaves, I'm following..

Laura Christopher was my stylist and I'm absolutely impressed with her work. I've been to her several times with ideas for my hair and she recreated it exactly! I will never have another stylist as long as she's in the business. You won't be disappointed with her and her work!

This place is great! Everyone is very friendly and willing to work with you to find the perfect look. I love the hair washing part of getting my hair done and Slice really caters to my favorite part :) Plus getting offered refreshments is always a bonus. The prices are typical of a higher end salon but very much worth it. Check them out especially for special occasions and up-dos.

I have been going to Sara for almost seven years. Since she has relocated to Slice, my experiences have been great. The salon is always clean and has pleasant modern decor. Great place to go for an up to date or funky cut. Men and women cuts are available. Each stylist has their own client list so calling ahead is your best bet for a haircut.
