Horrible. Went this morning. Walked out with the top of my head looking like a cockatiel. The stylist broke off so much of my hair that the top stands straight up. She was trying to fix my fly always she said. I had none when I walked in and. Ow have serious damage. They refunded my money but that's not enough. I have now contacted their corporate office. It will take months to repair this damage. I am beyond upset. The salon could care less about what happened. Stay far away from this place!!!!!

Genius of a business and idea

It's a nice place and very busy. Pro ... They were able to squeeze our group of 4 in that afternoon. There is a cocktail bar counter inside, whoopie! Out of 4 gals, 3 of us were thrilled with our blowouts. One gal not so much. Her hairdresser was a bit lazy or experience. Con ... They will not give you a receipt unless you absolutely ask for it. My sister was overcharged but because she did not ask or get a receipt, she didn't realize it until the bill came a month later. They charged her for two blowouts!

Have been to many Drybars, but this one missed the mark. Made an appointment for 11:45am, but my hair wasn't started until 12:20pm. They were way understaffed and the prices were higher than other locations. Plus it's inside Miracle Mile shops and not convenient to get to. This place needs to get their act together. Staff was talking about clients once they left - totally inappropriate. Will not visit this location again.

My blower today is amazing! I frequently use blow bar and it takes just thd right person to get it right ! I think her name is Elaina - she’s blonde And from the Ukraine ! SHe needs a raise ! She’s great

Jessie Vaughn

My first and certainly not last Drybar experience. My stylist was amazing. I have androgenic alopecia and she made me look like a super star. I will definitely be back.

I went to make an appointment for my daughter and they took her e-mail address and name before then asking me for a credit card to confirm her appointment. I had no cards on me so said so and they said they couldn't hold the appointment so I said ok I will come back another time. On the way back to Bellagio to get cards noticed there was a dry bar in the Cosmopolitan so once got cards made the appointment there as nearer than Miracle Mile. Daughter had her hair done and paid by card only to return back to UK to find a no show e-mail from your store and 20$ taken off my card when you never had my card details !!! Obviously have access to a central database and have accessed my card details and charged me fraudulently !!! BEWARE anyone using this company as your credit card details are not safe. Have wasted money calling from the UK and e-mailing but have had no response. Disgusting behaviour !!!

Customer service was awesome and my stylist a young lady from Indiana was great!

This place is so overrated. It would be my first and last time here. They prefer to attend to pretentious clients and judge a book by the cover so to speak. So, I don’t have a thin body, who looks fake and/or is very high maintenance. Plus the dry style was a complete waste of time and money.

Decided last minute to have a blow dry, Walked in and got taken by Dionne within 5 minutes. She was lovely and listened to what style I wanted and did a great job. I got a mai tai cocktail which was delicious and sat watching legally blonde having my hair blown out and styled. It lasted 3 days in the sun which i was happy with. I would definitely go back to the salon when in Vegas. It is $80 for blow dry with extensions, $14 for drink and you must tip at least $10 so it is pretty steep compared to the UK however it was a lovely experience.

So I send my mother here to get her hair done for her 30 anniversary and she had the worst experience. She had a appointment at 2:00 pm and stylist doing her hair was extremely unprofessional and rude. Did not ask my mom if it was her first time there and just seemed aggravated the whole time and rushing my mother out. She didn’t even try to be welcoming and was very rude. Barely washed my mom’s hair and styled, didn’t even offer to put any product in her hair unless she bought it. I normally visit the dry bar in Dallas North Park area and always had an amazing experience. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND RUDE SERVICE!!!!! DONT COME HERE. Will never recommend dry bar to anyone again

I loved my visit to Drybar. I can't see why there are bad reviews. I arrived at 3 my stylist Kristie was ready for me. She was lovely and gave me a really nice wash. I went for the beachy waves blowout and it was fantastic it lasted me 3 days without having to touch it. The products smelled so nice. Worth every penny of the $49 I paid!!

Mae Mcentire

It was the most thorough and detailed hair washing experience I have ever had! It was my first time ever getting a blow out before and I really loved it. I wish I could remember the name of the girl who did my hair, but she listened precisely to what I asked for and achieved a much prettier look than I was imagining. Fabulous service and perfect first time experience! I'd give it even more stars if I could.

Alana Black

Had a great experience. Ask for Prince!

Danielle Wood

Pretty underwhelming. I've had better blowouts at different salons. There was no real volume and I could have achieved these results myself for free.

Elysa Jennings

First time at a drybar. I wish I had one closer to me! My style has still held up by day 3.

Michelle Hernandez

I was there 3 times during my visit. They're very accommodating for walk ins and quick. My hair looked fantastic. Thank you! So happy this location was right next door to our hotel and conference

Sonya Marquart

Went do Dry Bar in Planet Hollywood to celebrate a girlfriends birthday. After being told she gets a free blowout we decided to book prior to a concert along with a free mimosa with the service. After finishing and getting ready to pay our bill we were told our bill was $180 after not being told we received a conditioning treatment that was $20, got charged for both mimosas and my girlfriends blowout was not free for her birthday. I am choked with their services as I would never have paid $180 to get my hair blow dryer , the receptionist made me feel guilty for only tipping $10 for the blowout after being told a much higher price than originally quoted . Will never attend a Dry Bar again after today.

kelly staup

I had to wait for 30 minutes after my appointment and when I asked the receptionist about the delay, she was rude to me and said I didn't follow procedure correctly and I was lucky to still get service (wtf does that mean?) Worst customer service I've seen in Vegas. go to original diva in miracle Mile instead. They don't have an attitude problem. The drybar hair stylist was just meh.

Worst Blow Dry, avoid at all costs. 35 minutes late followed by a rush blow dry which was horrendous. There was ZERO Customer service. The lady on the front desk was so rude!!! I've now had to straighten my hair to fix this mess which was suppose to be a curly blow dry. So shocked and an evening ruined!

lisa podraza

Lorraine did an AMAZING job on my hair! I brought in a picture of what I wanted and she matched it on point!!!! She was super friendly and I could tell she had a passion for her work! I got compliments on my hair all night! I will definitely be back on my next Vegas trip. Ask for Lorraine!

Horrible service. It was my first time and definitely last one.She washed my hair with cold water and said it supposed to be this way. Then she proceeds roughly brush my hair. Please save your hair and money don’t go there.

Awesome expierence ! Loved my hair will diff do this again !

Alex Kornswiet

Overall this place is overrated. They advertise that tip is included but then make sure you pay extra when checking out because otherwise you are seen as a bad person. The charges in Vegas are also higher than other cities and there’s no included glass of anything - they should be more up front about actual costs and expectations

Sharon Nasol

Don't come here for an interview. They make you waste your time. I interviewed with two guys in a noisy salon which made it hard for me to hear what they were saying. Its unprofessional at the end they made it sound like I was gonna get hired and were gonna send me a text message the next day but never did. Good thing i didnt quit my job right away or i would of been jobless. Don't make interviews feel like they gonna get hired its not professional at all.

Not sure what all these bad reviews are about. Dry Bar is the same across the entire country. I go to the ones in Boston and Miami all the time. Same products, same techniques, same styles and it's that way because it works on 90% of girls. If your hair can get "fried" or "ruined" from a blow out and a curling iron, you #1 should take better care of it, and #2 do it yourself. I'm happy every time I go there and this was no exception. They are very, very busy and they run a little late. Relax, people, it's Vegas- have a glass of champagne at their bar.

Lindsay Seberry

Another awful experience at Drybar Las Vegas. After my first awful experience here, I thought I would give it one more shot and this time was just as disappointing as the last. When my stylist approached me, she had an unacceptably disheveled and not put together appearance. Keep in mind, it was 11:30AM, it's not like I was her last client after a long day. She quite frankly looked like she had just rolled out of bed, not like a professional who I was about to let style my hair. However, I tried not to judge a book by it's cover and allowed her to do my hair. She wasn't very friendly and didn't strike up any conversation which was fine because I was exhausted and not really in the mood for taking. She did not use any heat protectant spray and when I asked her why, she proceeded to say, "oh I used extra anti frizz spray instead and it creates a layer over your hair that serves as a heat protectant." I happen to know this to be completely false, using extra product does not serve as a heat protectant if that is not the purpose of said product. What an idiotic thing to say! In addition, at the end, when she claimed my hair was "complete" and allowed me to take a look, I was horrified. My hair is on the curly side, however, my roots were not at all straight leading to a frizzy look, nor were my edges. When I told her that I would like for them to be straight, she proceeded to tell me, "I'm not very good at straightening roots, so I'll have to get someone to help me." WHAT??? I was mortified when she told me that, mind you, I had already been in the chair for an hour and a half for something that normally takes an hour max, and my hair was not even close to being satisfactory. At this point, she goes to get another stylist who I explain my wishes to and she understands completely and proceeds to essentially restyle my hair correctly, making sure to straighten my roots. She sends the other, incompetent girl away and I immediately ask her if the original stylist is new and she is honest and tells me yes. My question is WHY ARE AMATEURS BEING ALLOWED TO WORK HERE IF THEY ARE NOT COMPETENT TO DO A SIMPLE STYLE? I should not be subjected to someone else's incompetence. My entire appointment ended up taking almost 3 hours which is completely unacceptable. This place is awful, I quickly cancelled my barfly membership and once I use the blowouts that I have already paid for, I will never return to this location. Given the incredible experience I had at the Newport location, this location is shameful. I recommend everyone to run, not walk, as fast as you can away from this location. As a Las Vegas local, there are plenty, better quality options than this place.

ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK: DryBar will allow their employees to RUIN your hair and accept ZERO financial responsibility for the damages. On the afternoon of July 27th, I booked a blowout at your Las Vegas Miracle Mile location for an event I had been looking forward to for months. I walked in with beautiful blonde hair and a full head of extensions. What I left with was horrific. ERLINDA washed my hair & asked if I wanted her to use purple shampoo. I immediately said no, it will turn my hair purple! We had an entire conversation about it. I notice she is taking unusually long to wash my hair and she says she is putting a special treatment on it. When I finally get up she told me my hair was a little purple! I couldn't understand why it would be and when I look in the mirror, I see my hair is not a little purple, it is PURPLE!!! After specifically telling her NOT to use purple shampoo, she went ahead and did it anyway. Obviously, the "special treatment" was her attempting to fix her mistake that never should have happened. We went back to the bowl to try to get it out where she must have started applying more conditioner for some reason, and then proceeded to slide FIVE of my four day old hair extensions out. She attempted to blame my hairstylist that I've been going to and getting extensions from for years! I have had extensions for eight years and not once has more than one extension fallen out. When she realized the purple was not coming out, she told me she was getting another stylist and walked away, without so much as an apology. I then spent the next hour and fifteen minutes with my head in the sink with DISH SOAP on my hair while a few stylists attempted to get the purple out. While they were able to get some of it out, I was still left with purple streaks on my now dry as bone hair from the extensive process they had to use. I left the salon with severe neck pain from having my head in the sink for over an hour and purple streaks. What was supposed to be a fun afternoon ended up ruining my entire day and now weekend. I had been looking forward to this trip since I planned it in January and now my entire weekend was ruined thanks to your employee who chose not to listen to her customer. I still keep having flashbacks of the two things you do not want to hear while in the salon right before an event, "Your hair is purple..." and "All of your extensions are falling out." Now I have had to remove my hair extensions as they were damaged beyond repair, not only in color but in length. The extensive process they were put through in an attempt to remove the purple caused the ends of the hair to break off. I have had to lay out hundreds of dollars on top of the $500 extensions that I've lost to fix the color and condition of my REAL HAIR. In total, this has come to almost $1,200 out of my pocket due to DryBar's careless employee's negligence. After weeks of dealing with their customer relations and insurance company regarding compensation for my ruined hair, I have been told my entire claim is being denied and DryBar is taking ZERO responsibility for their employee's sheer negligence. They are trying to hide behind their "extensions policy" which states they will "handle with care," but my hair was handled with CARELESSNESS. I did not sign a waiver relinquishing my rights and allowing Erlinda to make decisions on my behalf that I knew would ruin my hair. They told me to contact the manufacturer of the purple shampoo to discuss my damage! In what world does that make any sense? I knew the damage it would cause and that is why I told their employee NOT to use it! If I tell the waiter at a restaurant I am dining at that I'm allergic to Heinz ketchup and he hides Heinz ketchup in my food, would Heinz be at fault!? I am disgusted with this business!

Sara Brown

Not too friendly. They did a great job on our hair but acted like they did not want to be there.

So excited about this salon! Specifically, I was helped by Krista, who is a sweetheart. She listened carefully to what I needed and was a master. I have a very curley hair and I am always hesitant to try new places (I am very particular...) and have been very disappointed in the past. Not with Krista. I was very happy with her and every time I’m in Vegas and need a place to get my hair done I know where I can find an excellent professional.

Kelley Riggs

First experience with Drybar. This location was fantastic. Got me right in, super friendly and my hair looked fabulous.

46&2

Total waste of time and money! The girl was very sweet... however, she used 2 sprays of product in her hand touched the ends of my naturally curly hair and began... Needless to say my hair was a frizzy static mess had to wash it exactly 5 hour later! If you're looking for a professional blow out.. This isn't it pay the extra money and go to a professional...Puppy mill of blowouts Lol

Worst Blow Dry, avoid at all costs. 30 minutes late followed by a rush blow dry which was horrendous. The lady on the front desk was so rude and have no customer service at all!!! she didn't give me the Friday discount which is $10 off but gave my friend the discount. over all i didn't have any good experience on my 40th birthday!! I was very upset and i will never go back

Haylie Genord

This was my first experience at Dry Bar and was sadly very disappointed. The receptionist made me feel like I was an inconvenience when i asked her for help with an appt. Once I sat down to get washed, the stylist repeatedly bumped my head against the bowl. Then sitting down to get dried and styled, my hair was pulled excessively as she dried with the round brush, she repeatedly burnt my scalp after being told it was too hot, and heat my head with the blow dryer and round brush more than once. My head was sore after being styled by her. Not to mention she went over on time. Something that should’ve been a fun and relaxing experience turned into pain and frustration.

I have never gone to a salon for just a style. Usually, I style my hair the best. I was in Vegas, girls weekend so I thought “why not be fancy?” I loved it! Gabriella did a Fantastic Job! It lasted through dancing with JLO and home the next day! What a treat!
