Tried to get my bridal party all together and they somehow made arrangements so it would work!!! The girls all looked great and were happy with their results. And each artist really listened to their clients before working their magic. Would recommend for any hair beauty needs!

Urbane has made pampering one of my favorite times! I love my stylist, and my esthetician. I have my lash extensions done at Urbane, and Olivia has done the best job with my lashes! I took my tween daughter in for a girls day, and her hair turned out beautifully. She loved it, and she will brag up Urbane to anyone that will listen.

I would leave negative stars if I could. I have naturally curly hair, so finding someone who knows what they’re doing is tough. My stylist Angelina left, and the staff at Urbane recommended Sarah. I’ve had Sarah cut my hair a few times over the past couple years. In the past, my haircuts from Sarah were decent, nothing great but not awful which is really all I cared about. Again, finding someone who has a clue how to cut curly is really, really hard. So, 2.5 weeks ago I have an appt with Sarah. I show her multiple pictures of the length and style I want. I also physically show her how long I want my hair to be, which was basically in line with my underarms. She started cutting and I knew instantly it was too short. I said something to her, but at that point what can be done? Several times I expressed concern about how short it was, but again at that point the hair is gone. I wanted about 5 inches cut off, and I’m estimating she cut closer to 14 inches. My hair now, when curly, is up to my chin. I can’t figure for the life of me how she could have messed this up so badly. My hair looks horrid, and now is a triangle if I were to wear it curly, which I can’t. I’ll be straightening my hair for probably 6 months to a year. I’ve cried so many times in the past couple of weeks about this. I’m sure she didn’t mean to do it, but that’s not the issue at this point. I’m stuck with horribly short hair for the foreseeable future. Ladies, if you have curly hair please be very careful about who you let near it. I would advise you seek someone other than her. Edit: JaRee fixed my hair so it no longer has the triangle shape, which I greatly appreciate. The salon did give me my money back when I went in to have the shape fixed, which at first I didn’t care about but I’ve spent about $250 between a flat iron and hair products since I now have to straighten it daily. It’s been just been over a month now, and I still am so disappointed in how my hair looks, but time is the only thing that will fix it. I do appreciate Lance and JaRee helping me try to fix this. Please note in my original review I didn’t say avoid the salon, I just wouldn’t go to that stylist if you have curly hair.

This is a very Nice salon with elegant looks and a professional staff who is eager to earn your business. The owner Jean is committed to making sure you are pleased with your service each time you go there. The front desk is competent, something I have found seriously lacking at other Salons in Omaha. I appreciate the personal touch of the appointment bookings and appointment reminders. I was able to get in for a much needed hair cut at this salon on very short notice, in fact on the same day as another Salon in Omaha was unable to keep my scheduled morning hair cut and gave me only 2 hours notice that they would not be getting me in that day for a hair cut. This salon understands your time as a customer is valuable! I wish more salons in Omaha had this same mind set. Sadly, I have dealt with salons where my appointment time does not start promptly. I was able to be seen by Vanessa for a hair cut on short notice and she did an awesome job of making my hair look its best when I left the salon. I would recommend Vanessa. I really like how the staff here explains the Aveda products and answers your questions about Aveda with knowledge and helpful hints. If you are interested in an Aveda Salon in Omaha this is the place for you!

This place is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Jasmine or Amy, they are up front and honest about what you want. I came in wanting to go from dark brown to platinum blonde in 2 sessions. They educated me on the process and products to use. Just sitting there and seeing the interaction with the ladies is a whole completely different level of family. They look out for each other and respect each other. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

DO NOT GET YOUR BALAYAGE DONE HERE! I requested a refund as my hair has been called "the worst balayage we've ever seen". I have white, yellow, and blotchy orange streaks that make me look like a calico cat. Also, she gave me one white highlight to "frame my face" that makes me look like i'm going gray. The manager told me that refunds are not company policy. I hope these photos will change that. Please, take my advice and go somewhere else!!

So upset with how my hair has held up for my wedding tonight. It was done at 2 and by 5 it's gone entirely flat and the braid has fallen down. No answer tonight to get it fixed by 6pm for a 10pm ceremony. What a nightmare. If it had held up I would have loved it. But this is really unacceptable. $100 curls and a braid should hold up.

I only had a lunch hour available to get hair styled. The stylist did a phenomenal job with curly, beachy wavy hair set up to lay nicely 7 hours later for our engagement pictures. It worked out perfectly! Appreciate their attention to detail at this salon!

My daughter and I had a spa day. Body scrub, pedicure, mini massage and hair. We were there for about 4 hours. This is a really nice salon and spa and the staff was great. They took care of us as if we were queen for the day. The only negative I had was the pedicure. They do not have comfortable chairs for you to sit in for this. They also do not have whirlpool tubs to put your feet in. It's just a big bowl of hot water. The best part of a pedicure it the chair and whirlpool. I would go back for sure, but I would do the body stuff and hair. Our day cost us well over $500 so choose your treatment wisely.

So i am posting this review since i was really unhappy with the service i got the past couple of times i went to get a haircut, the first few time were great i got no complaints, she took her time and took care of exactly what i wanted, then i just felt like she was rushing to get things done, i remember that the last time i was there it only took her like 15 mins to cut my hair maybe a little more but somewhere around that. When i got home i noticed she left a lot of hair behind my ears and around my head long hairs like come on, i am paying for a $35 dollar hair cut and this is what i get, on top of it i was always really nice and on every hair cut i got i always used to tip her goo.d, 10 or 15 dollars. Over all very very disappointed, would never go back and would never recommend anyone, i should also call the BBB and post a review with them but hopefully they take in consideration my review and always do a goos job

We got two message packages. My daughter said her message was great! The message therapist gave it her all! Mine... Not so much. The first one just gave a repetitive light rub then the next one gave you a fast " in a hurry" rub. For $400.00 I was not impressed and my sea weed wrap was almost on for 20minutes which was the reason I went. The place was very nice and staff was great! I would not recommend the package deals, over price for the experience. By way if your used to getting a mani at a nail salon don't get a mani there! The polish they use doesn't cure well with the ultra violet lights so you leave with wet/ un-cured nails and you paid way more than you would of at a "nail salon!"

I will never let another person touch my hair other than Lance at Urbane! He is so friendly and I trust my hair in his hands 100%. The atmosphere at the salon is so welcoming and warm, but still modern and chic. I love that they use Aveda products. I am always able to get in in a timely manner. Lance is so friendly and I always leave more than satisfied! I'd recommend him, and Urbane, to anyone

Great service! Great atmosphere! I came from out of town and they were able to get me in a few hours after I called. My stylist was Vanessa. She new exactly what I wanted done with my hair and she delivered! She also gave me good styling tips and helped me pick out product for my hair. The building is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. They offered me a drink as soon as I walked in. Wish I lived closer so I could go here all the time!

I was seeking somewhere downtown to get a quick brow wax so I decided to try this place. I called, and they got me in the same day with Jessica. She did an AMAZING job and she was super friendly. This will definately be a new go to place for me. The salon was quaint and inviting. After just dropping in today, I would consider getting other services there too!

When was the last time a stranger stopped you while shopping and said "I love your hair cut! where did you get it done?". I can tell you that doesn't happen to me everyday. But it did two days after my visit to Urbane Salon. The stranger said "oh one of those Fru Fru salons?" I told her not 5 star expensive but 5 star service, they know how to treat you right. She asked for my stylists name and wrote it down. Wow! what a compliment and all I had done was a cut. On all cuts they give you a scalp message which was out of this world relaxing! My stylist was current on all of the latest cuts. She made suggestions, which most other shops that I have visited are rather hesitant. They offer you something to drink, they will run out and put money in your parking meter if you think you may be pushing your time limit. They want YOU to relax and not have a worry in the world, they put you first. They offer services of all types in their day spa and sell natural Evada products which are 20% off every Thursday. I was so excited about this my experience I had to share it.

I don't normally leave reviews but I'm pretty bummed about the haircut I received. While my hairdresser was very kind in talking me through the process, the results came out poorly. Even though I wanted a transitional haircut to go from mid-shoulder to a pixie cut, it is at a very unflattering length. I spent $40 on a haircut that was shorter than desired and then came out uneven. So, because I can't go anywhere to get it fixed because I don't want it to be any shorter than it is now, I am stuck waiting for it to grow back out again. I could have received the same outcome for $15 at Great Clips. I look like a twelve year old in college and I cringe looking in the mirror now because of it.

Went to Salon Urbane for a last minute appointment. They were able to fit me in within two days. Chelsea was my stylist and she was great. She did exactly what I wanted and gave me a great style. I would say it was one of the best haircuts/style I've ever had. The service prices were reasonable and the salon was clean and nicely decorated. I will be coming back again!

BRIDES BEWARE! I do not live in Omaha, however was getting married in Omaha looking for a salon to do my hair. I picked this place due to the reviews, neat atmosphere, etc. When I called the salon to make my appointment, they recommended JAREE JOHNSON, letting me know that she often does hair for brides and is great. I was excited and planned a hair trial with her (not free). I was not thrilled with the trial, so planned another hair trial before the wedding to put my mind at ease. On the day of the wedding, makeup ran late and I was 30 minutes late into my hour long hair appointment. I was in the car on the way and got a phone call telling me that Jaree could not do my hair! PANIC! (I later saw her coloring someone else's hair). She did not offer to try to do it quickly, nothing. Luckily I had an appointment for my sister and mom at that time, with SARAH KNAUSS, who ended up doing a fabulous job! She was super friendly and my hair turned out great. Overall, I was happy with my hair, however not thrilled about the stress this salon caused on my wedding day.

I have tried multiple salons in Omaha and have never been as satisfied with a hair stylist as I have at Urbane Salon on Farnam. Vanessa is an amazing hair stylist. She listens to what I want, teaches me about hair and the best ways to manage it, and I always leave with the exact haircut and style I was envisioning. Vanessa is a magician! Highly recommend this salon and her.

I had a wonderful experience here. I was able to walk in on a Monday afternoon at 4. I'm from out of town and working in Omaha. I haven't seen my own hairdressers in 5 months and desperately needed my hair cut. Kayla is new to the salon and is so wonderful. She made me feel comfortable in an unfamiliar salon. Asked me how I part and style my hair on a daily basis and also answered any questions about the what products she was using on my hair. Overall wonderful experience!!

I've been here twice now and have really enjoyed the Aveda salon experience. I feel like I'm finally getting what I pay for in regards to pampering. I see Jenny Murray and she is very thorough and detailed. It's worth it to upgrade to the scalp treatment which comes with a scalp massage.

Vanessa is the best stylist I have ever had! Every time I walk out of the salon, I am over the moon with her work and personality. This last time I came in, I was going out with friends afterwards. Vanessa did a great job as always, and Morgan even did a makeup retouch for me! The staff is amazing and am thankful for these two in particular! Always very happy with my hair cut. For $30 for a men's cut, it's well worth the premium you pay over a generic hair care place.
