I was greeted as soon as I came in the door. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help, which is very uncommon these days. Even though coming to this store is a ways for me to go, I do so because of the great service, great product, oh and the cleanliness of the store.

I absolutely LOVE Five Salon. I was referred to Five Salon over a two years ago and used them last year for my wedding (hair and makeup). I love that Amber Carter, Five Salon's Esthetician, offers waxing, facials, skincare education and makeup application. It makes it a one stop shop for me! Amber did my wedding day makeup along with five other wedding guests. I have to be honest she was a blessing and every bit of fun for my guests who traveled from Ireland who didn't want to stress with applying their makeup. I love the fact that the Five Salon staff always know you by your name and that employees like Amber Carter truly love their job. It reflects in how they provide a superb service. Our home is an Aveda home from skincare to hair products along with the makeup line. I also introduced my mother-in-law from Cali to Five Salon. She only buys her Aveda product from Amber even with living out of state. If that is not a sign of excellent customer services I don't know what is.

This place charges by the hour and milked the time. This place quoted my wife $65 and $85 for my two daughters. After the job was done they informed my wife the bill was $320 for both girls. Give the whole facts when patrons call.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the way Nicole waxes my eyebrows!! She is extremely warm & friendly which makes my visit pleasurable & relaxing. They have a punch card which is very consumer friendly service as well. I love this place. I have been coming here for about 6 years now and I have never had a bad experience. Quite the opposite in fact! They pamper you the moment you walk in the door. They take your coat, offer refreshment, and get you to the back as quickly as possible. Everyone up front has always been great. The hair stylist Lindsay is AWESOME!! She always takes very good care of me. She knows what I'm looking for and isn't afraid to ask me questions if she isn't 100% sure. I can't say enough good things about her or this place! They just lost my business. I have been going here for years. Two hairstylist that I really liked have left the salon. I have been trying to find someone I like to cut my hair now. I just tried another stylist at 5 salon and after my appointment earlier today, I decided I wanted more layers. They told me that they wouldn't be able to fit me in for 3 more days to just add more layers to my hair cut. It shouldn't take 3 days to fit someone in to add layers!

And so my search continues for a hairstylist in Omaha. Gina was my stylist at Five Salon. I only have two criteria: my highlight and trim is done to satisfaction and that I am somewhat compatible with the person who does my hair. I figure if I'm sitting in their chair for 2+ hours every 8 weeks, I would like to enjoy their personality. I'm disappointed with the work Gina did on my hair. As it grows out, my highlights appear very golden in color and she wasn't able to break up the band that appears when my roots grow out (something she promised she would avoid). The trim was alright, but she left my hair way too thick, even after I asked for it to be thinned out. Gina was nice enough, she tried to make an effort to get to know me. But I couldn't get past her persistent selling techniques for Aveda products. I have been going to Aveda salons for the past 4 years and I've never had someone push the product so hard. She kept it up after I told her I wasn't interested and happy with my current product. I understand it is a part of her job, but I felt she went overboard. It made my experience unfavorable. Onto another salon, unfortunately..

I think the previous reviewers are crazy....I have had nothing but an exemplary experience at Five Salon. My stylist Jessica is very professional and friendly and the salon itself is gorgeous. I am very picky about my haircuts (I have very fine, hard to style hair) and I have been satisfied each time I have been there. I hardly ever review anything, but I had to let people know to not trust these bad reviews!

First of all Rhonda u r a beautiful person! From the first day I came in u made me feel just plain ‘special’! And I notice that this is ur nature with everyone that I see come in!!! One looks forward to walking in 5 Salon!! I’ll have to admit I was nervous to have someone besides Claude do anything with my hair but it was all for naught because Kristen did a fantastic job! It took me less than 10 min to do my hair the next morn! The way she textured the long side made 100% difference. No frizzzzz!!!! Everything about my experience with Kristen was great from conversation to massaging my scalp! Even the shampoo! So thank you Kristen and Rhonda for the wonderful experience u gave me and I sure look forward to my next appt!!!!❤️❤️

I trust them. Aveda salon with amazing service and excellent attention toward clients. Have been going here for many years and can say that stylist turnover is almost non-existent. I am the type to stay with a stylist for a few cuts to let them get to know me and my hair because I do not enjoy explaining what I want done every time I get a cut. I simply sit back, enjoy the services and leave feeling good about my look. I also appreciate the fact that they know me and go out of their way to accommodate all clients. True embodiment of the Aveda experience.

The best salon ever!! You won’t recieve such excellent service anywhere else. Katherine is absolutely the best, she actually takes the time to listen to exactly what you want and then will talk out with you what she is going to do. I've been here three times, had my hair cut by two different people. Both were very good - though I particularly liked the first woman who cut my hair. The girl who does the waxing is phenomenal - very friendly and very good. It is a bit pricey but when you get a haircut you also get a head massage and they don't skip the shampoo like some other places do these days.

Gina is my stylist, but I enjoy the whole staff at Aveda V! I love that the minute you walk in, the aroma of all of their great products surrounds you. I am always offered a water or tea, and they always hang my coat and purse up while I am there so I know my items are safe. Gina always takes the time to ask what I am looking for in a hair cut, and respects if I want to keep the same cut or change up my look. I also see her for my eye-brow waxing, and her attention to detail is great! My favorite part about going to see Gina is the amazing shoulder and scalp massage I get with each service. I would recommend Aveda V to anyone who likes to be pampered.
