The salon is remarkably peaceful...and the cleanliness is downright clinical. And I got a terrific haircut. Highly professional...I will definitely reschedule at The Studio - AVEDA.

Friendly staff! I didn't have an appointment, but they looked for a way to help me get a haircut. They have new member discount which is 20$ and if you refer a friend you'll get 25$ credit!! Isn't that awesome!!

This place is a hot mess. I book my appointments 2 or so months in advance and they are constantly calling and canceling, and then it's another month before I can get in. The receptionists are icy and unfriendly and I have never felt well treated at this salon. The final straw, however, is when the last stylist I saw cut my hair into layers after I specifically told her not to. I told her, because I have very fine hair, that I have been working for some time on a long bob because it makes my hair look thicker. Apparently, she thought she knew better and now I'm right back where I started a year ago. My only option is to deal with it looking thin and shaggy on the sides or chopping 4 or 5 inches off. I was so angry it has taken me months to be able to write this review. There are too many good stylists, who want to make their clients happy to waste money at this place. Never again.

They are too hight price for kids hair cut I thank paying $35.00 is too much for that much you need to give out shampoo and conditioner with it or shampoo and conditioner my child hair if it's going to be $35.00 for a hair cut and I thank you need to do a deep conditioner on the kids hair if it's going to be that much for a kids hair cut it should be $10.00 - $15.00 for a child hair cut A kids hair cut should not be the same as a woman or a man hair cut that not rite at all if a person is on a fix income they can't pay $35.00 - $40.00 for a hair cut

Sorry this is long, There's a bottom line at the end of you scroll down I went to The Studio on a Friday. I’d never been there before but it came highly recommended by classmates. I have really thick curly hair that I know can be a bit of a challenge but I figured they’d know what they were doing. I waited for 45 minutes after my appointment. It was hard to hold a conversation with my stylist (Karly) but I figured no biggie. I came out with wet hair bc I normally let it air dry so I figured I’d do that to see what it’d look on the day to day. Once it was dry I realized that one side was longer than the other and I had 2 weird, blunt layers. I warned Karly that I don’t do much with my hair other than scrunch some product in and go which would mean, to me, that blunt layers is a no go (I thought curly hair was a no go with blunt layrs?). I called to complain. I asked for a manager and the receptionist said no, I asked again and she said no but I could talk to her. So I complained about my hair, and not being able to talk to a manager then she told me she was a manager (by magic?). She told me that Karly is the cut coach and she wouldn’t mess up, but if I want to come in to get it fixed I can. I said if she coaches all the other stylists I don’t want them touching my hair. I went on to tell her about my hair cut when she cut me off and told me I could call the owner tomorrow if I wanted to, but she would NOT be available until after noon. I called the next day and asked for the owner. I said to her “I called yesterday to complain about my haircut, and today I’m calling to complain about my haircut and a rude receptionist. She cut me off to say that “Savannah doesn’t have a rude bone in her body. I work with her all the time, you must be wrong.” (she wasn’t working yesterday when we were on the phone so how could she know?) Usually people aren’t rude around the owner of the business that they work for but if she says that the receptionist’s x-rays have been reviewed for rude bones I must be wrong? I agreed to come in to have her take a look. She sat me down with the Karly who started out by telling me that the cut isn’t uneven. As she was checking and cutting it (I didn’t want her touching my hair again!). I told her that if she’s cutting now there must be something wrong with the cut she did 3 days ago. She said No. she went on to tell me that I must not know how to handle such a “bold” cut and I must have never had layers before. I have always had layers. I’ve never had a “bold” cut and was unaware that I asked for one when I told her low maintenance. She also told me since I let her leave it wet she had no way to check it (really? One side was an inch longer than the other) I am not a hair stylist, I expect when I go to one that they’ll listen to what I want and do what will work with my hair and lifestyle. That’s how it’s worked for me in the past. I was surprised about how much of her uneven “bold” cut was my fault. No one apologized or even verbalized the cut was bad. She sure cut off a good amount for it to have been perfect how it was done. Bottom line- This aveda salon came highly recommended and it seems most people have a good experience there. I won’t trust my curls there again not only because how it was cut but how the problem was handled by the stylist, receptionist, and owner.

I am really late posting this review . I moved from California last year and had the same hairstylist for 20 years. I was really worried about finding another great hairstylist. I went to another salon when I first came to Ms. and I was very disappointed . I made an appt. at Aveda and had Mackenzie do my hair. I was very impressed with the way she matched my color and cut my hair. She did an outstanding job. She is very articulate, friendly and makes sure you look awesome when you leave. I have now been going to her for over a year, and I hope she never moves away because she does an awesome job. I also like the Aveda studio, everyone is so friendly and nice. They also give hand massages . I had a headache one day and they warmed up a thing you put around your neck to provide relief and it sure helped. Trust me make an appt. here, you will love the people and the treatment you receive here. Ask for Mackenzie, she is awesome!
