This is a mother daughter team, they don't do a good job for the price they charge ($180-200)my braids were all different sizes and the parting was a complete disaster , please don't waste your money with their shabby service ..

They were amazing. I normally braid my own hair but for the price and service it was so convenient. I love my hair! My braider had the best behaved one year old I have ever seen. I will be back for sure.

I would not recommend this place to anyone for hair braiding. Despite the fact that they claim to be professional experts in braiding; they are not. I got small box braids. A different Braider start in the back and she completed the front. Initially when she was finish at first glance, they appeared to look good. However when I took the time to closely look; I noticed different size braids. Larger in the front and smaller in the back. Once I told her, she got very defensive. And said there was nothing wrong. After going back and forth with her in the nicest way possible. She asked me to point out the ones that were inconsistent. I did. She began speaking in their language; clearly with an attitude. As she began to take my braids out, she was snatching my hair. Then she was being sarcastic each time she re-braided a braid: Is this the right size? You need to tell me because I am not re doing them. On top of that on day two some of my braids were hanging. I believe from improper gripping with the fake nails she had on. $200 in the drain for now but seeking counsel for a partial refund. I am completely done with this particularly shop. It's has Alicia name on window, but an Amy and her rude daughter runs it.

I had my hair braided twice at this shop by two different people. I got Senegalese twists the first time and kinky twists the second time. Both times I was initially satisfied when I left the shop. My twists were small and very nice in the front where I could see them very well. But after I got home and was able to look more closely in the back and the middle of my head, I could see where they made the twists larger and inconsistent. Some of my twists began to come aloose after only one week. The twists in the front still looked fine but it was very obvious that the larger twists in the back and middle were unravelling and the ends of my natural hair were starting to look frizzy. I went back to the shop to get them to fix the mistakes but they acted as if there was nothing wrong with their work. They only retwisted the ones that had come completely aloose and refused to redo the larger braids that looked old after only one week. They charge as if their work is professional but it is not. They obviously take shortcuts and it shows after only a short period of time. I cannot just blame the poor quality of work on one bad braider as this happened on two separate visits by two different braiders. I do not recommend this shop to anyone.

EXTREMELY RUDE!! I called in to inquire about her services. Since I live an hour away, I explained to her that I wanted to see some pictures of her work to see what all styles she do. In return, she responded with, "Since you don't trust me to do your hair, get someone in your city that will do your hair for you then. I do lots of people hair in Gulfport." & said thank you and hung up in my face.Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I called back and said "Mrs. Fatima, maybe you misunderstood me.. I'm willing to drive a hour away to get my hair done, that's why I called you-- but first I would like to see your work." Again, I was bombarded with the same reply. Very mean, rude, no respect!! I would NEVERRRR NEVER recommend her to anyone, no matter how good the work is--you should at least RESPECT a potential customer MRS.FATIMA. I truly hope the best for you and your hair salon because with the attitude, you will surely not continue to be in business. Potential customers, take HEED & DO NOT GO THERE.
