They're reliable and extremely helpful! All the salonists remember your preferences and if you have to book with someone else, chances are they'll know what you like cause they're always working and communicating together! They're very honest about what you should get. You get a mini facial with a style and wash too; it's really relaxing. And there's water and coffee! The salon is aesthetically pleasing and impeccably clean. Awesome colorists and undercuts too. They have a wide range of skills and specialties in color and styles. Regardless of what you want you'll probably find it! Plus you can make appointments online too :)

The only salon I really feel comfortable going to! I have gotten haircuts, color treatments (first time yesterday), facials, and mani-pedis here and have great experiences and results every time. I trust that I won’t ever walk out feeling embarrassed about how I look. Yesterday I got my hair cut for the first time in over a year and decided to give a tinted gloss a try. I don’t ever color my hair so this was a big deal for me. I was pretty nervous because I have naturally two-toned hair that is essentially white on the top. I didn’t want anything too subtle but I also wanted it to be noticeable/worth the time and money. Alicia was my stylist for both the cut and color and I was so pleasantly surprised with the results! I am glad I trusted her with the color treatment!

I got my hair cut here a month ago and it was the best professional cut I've ever had. They actually have stylists that understand wavy and curly hair. I liked the atmosphere so I went back for a pedicure! I was worried about going in for a pedicure because my feet are wrecked and peeling from having a job where I stand all day. Shelly made me feel super comfortable, and did an excellent job making my feet feel great. I'd never gotten a pedicure before and she did so well that she might have set the bar too high! I'll definitely be back.

Linnea did a full foil and cut with me yesterday, and it's nothing short of awesome. I hadn't been able to visit for several months for a multitude of reasons. Needless to say, I was in definite need of refresh. Linnea suggested changes in my cut and style which would require less maintenance. So, if I couldn't visit as frequently as I would like, my cut and color would transition into a longer term style that could handle the wait. I rolled with Linnea's suggestions and the end result did not disappoint. I hope to be able to visit more frequently in the future, but I'm comforted the folks at Accolades do their best to listen and understand the needs of their clients. Dignity and respect are the order of the day. Give them a try.

Terrible experience...I had an appt @ 1pm for a facial,brow and lip wax...then a 2pm appt for a mani/pedi...the facial began about 1:10...worse facial ever. Not the least bit relaxing. The facial & massage delt rushed and rough. Lip and brow wax followed. Literally burnt my skin..Was never given a mirror to look at it. Was then told that the person that was doing mani/pedi was running late and they could get me in at 5!!! Are you kidding me??? To top it off..I was in my car leaving Accolades at 1:50 pm! So my 45 minute facial was 30 minutes, at best!! Needless to say I will never go back!

I’ve been hiding them since it happened because i was afraid to get my hair done again. I finally decided to try someone new and hope to get it fixed. Great customer service. I got a gel mani and a pedi, both of which did not turn out and the nails chipped in less than 48 hours. BUT I emailed them and within minutes they replied with apologies and very generous offers to have a more experienced girl redo it complementary.

Nice place to get a massage, but thought the pricing was a bit out of market. I tend to like deeper pressure massages and was told, after I was in the massage room, that anything over medium pressure is an extra $20. I understand that "deep tissue enhancement" is advertised on their website for an extra fee, but assumed this involved additional product (biofreeze, e.g.) not actually requesting that the therapist use additional pressure. I've never run in to that before. So, I ended up paying almost $100 for a so-so experience. Not bad, just not worth the cost.

They offer you coffee, tea, water, etc when you walk in the door and a mini-facial while you get your hair washed. No matter which stylist I have, they treat me and my hair with care and attention. I shared pictures with my stylist of what I wanted - she told me it would be possible so we proceeded. It didn’t turn out the way I wanted (it wasn’t even close to the pictures) so I called back and the manager said I could come in to get it fixed, free of charge. I drove 30 min back to the salon and the manager told me they would have to charge me again. I’m very disappointed - instead of making me drive back she could’ve told me over the phone she will have to charge me again, and I would’ve looked elsewhere. This place wasted my time and money.

Friendly, down to earth salon with great talent! Jason D. Is the best! I've had my hair cut/highlighted/blown out by top stylists all over and he is the best. His blowout can't be beat and it lasts. Unfortunately, I won't be going to Accolades again. 1. They don't know how to do nails:( There was no soaking of the nails, no cuticle oil, nothing. It was painful and uncomfortable for my friend and I. The person helping my friend even stated ' I don't really know how to do acrylics but I'll try' 2. The woman with the long black hair was rude and not wanting to honor our coupon. They finally did after 2 other employees got involved. 3. At the end of the day, way overpriced. You are better off going to another nail salon that has certified technicians and that charge reasonably. A manicure in the Twin Cities on average should not charge more than $25.

To find a salon open on a Monday is one thing. To find one open on Memorial Day is another. To get an appointment with someone (Melissa, who has been working at the salon for 10 years) was quite the Memorial Day miracle. I hate cheating on my regular hairdresser, but I must say that I'm close to switching now. For $49 I got a shampoo, facial (with facial massage and hot towel), men's haircut, blow/style, and neck shave with hot cream. (That sounds dirty, but I didn't mean it to be.) To be honest, my jury is still out on the cut itself, but I've been going to the same person for so long that any diversion seems suspect. And any quibbles will likely be minor in the long run; I have a feeling that after I wash and style myself I will be quite satisfied. I certainly appreciated the time and care Melissa showed, and the front desk staff was equally kind and welcoming.

I have now been here three times for myself, recommended to a friend, and took my sister as a treat. I strongly recommend the salon for their friendly staff, attention to detail, and excellent work. The free facial is a nice added bonus. However, the reason that I will continue to be a returning customer is due to how welcomed I felt when I had to bring my baby to the haircut; it was encouraged when I called to schedule, he was held by all the staff so that I could relax, and the entire environment they created was a much-needed break for a new mom.

Got my hair cut today with Josy and I’m so thrilled with the result! Unfortunately I had to come in because of a botched haircut and quasi-bang situation that happened last week at another salon. Accolades was totally different! Josy was so reassuring, did a thoughtful consultation with me, looked at all the pictures I brought and answered all of my questions (I tend to ask a lot). I felt like our communication was great and she understood exactly what I was going for. She made a plan with me to come back soon and improve the haircut even further after some of the bad layering (from the other salon) grows out. She even talked about styling with me and did some verbal troubleshooting about how I usually style my hair, and recommended a nice brush to me that they sell in the salon and taught me about types of hairbrushes too. I got a mini facial from her too and that was so nice, and I was so happy to hear that the products they use in the salon are more natural with minimal ingredients. Everything she used on me felt, looked and smelled great. Plus, they make great coffee there! :) I really can’t compliment Josy enough, she totally saved me! I will definitely be back and I’ll probably drag my boyfriend in with me to get his hair cut next time too, lol.

Getting home and washing my hair has truly revealed how bad of a haircut this is. Should have known the stylist was shady when she had my back to the mirror the entire time. I went in with pictures of Jennifer Aniston and Dakota Johnson with long layered haircuts and left with a short haircut that looks like Keanu Reeves when he played that serial killer. If you need a good cry, this is the place for you.

I love this place! A few years ago, I was a wandering beauty-salon-frequenter with no loyalty to a particular salon or stylist. Linnea ended up covering last minute for the stylist I was supposed to see and it was love at first cut. I finally let her give me whatever cut she thought would look best and I am never going back. My hair looks fun but professional and is so easy to maintain. She keeps me up to date with the new trends and makes sure my hair color enhances my natural tones without looking too "done up." Going to see Linnea is like meeting a girlfriend for drinks but walking out with fabulous hair. Accolades in general is a soothing place to visit. The receptionists are always friendly and they make the best coffee. Make sure to get the mini-facial at the bowl while they wash your hair. You will instantly feel as though you have been transported to a day spa.

I visited Accolades for a facial, and mani/pedi. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who also asked me if I needed anything. I requested tea, and it was brought to me quickly. The facial by Angela was fantastic, and very relaxing. Chloe also did a great job on my mani and spa pedi. Chloe also gave me another cup of tea, and over the course of the two services, a couple glasses of water. This is my second time visiting Accolades and I will definitely go back again for the Spa services.

He didn't just cut my hair and send me on my way - he offered great tips and tricks for me to use when I'm at home and want to style my naturly wavy hair. It was a really great experience and I'll definitely book another appointment with him in the future. The salon itself is very pretty and comfortable and they offer all of the salon services I'm looking for (for me specifically facials, massages, manicures/pedicures, and hair services). Wish I could post pics, and rate ZERO. First time there I asked for a full foil (not knowing what a micro foil was) keep in mind iv been doing full foils for over 20 years now. I told her I wanted it platinum blond as bright as she could get. She upsold me $55 in conditioning treatment and toner and it looks horrible. It is Darker than when I arrived. When I called to talk w manager the receptionist told me she’ll be in tomorrow her name is Alicia she’ll contact me. And hour and a half later I get a phone call from some lady that claims to be Alicia and said she saw my hair before I left and Saw me complaining about it but didn’t have the time to come over and talk to me because she was doing a facial on another guest. She said that there was nothing she could do to help me that I had to pay for a micro foil which I gladly would have done had somebody told me there was a difference between a full foil and a micro foil. I told Jamie that I trusted her as long as she got me as blonde as possible whatever it took. I no problem with any of the pricing I just wanted it to be blonde I then sent so called Alicia pictures of the last two times I had my hair fully foiled at and it’s not even close to comparable. She kept emphasizing that she can’t give away more foil and bleach for free and I should have done a micro foil. Well maybe if my stylist told me then I had known. I thought she would understand when I told her as blonde as possible. it’s absolutely horrible I’m going to have to spend another $200 to get it fixed. I would NOT waste your time and money. The salon was nice atmosphere but that’s about all that was nice.

Going in I just wanted 2 inches off and to trim my bangs a bit and make them more wispy. Instead I have mcirofringe bangs but not even that because she cut out like all of my hair that were my bangs. I now look like I like a 3 year old went to town on my bangs. Hell, they might have done a better job. I have never been a girl to cry from a haircut... but yeah once I got to my car totally sat there and cried for a bit. Do not recommend Megan if you want a simple haircut. I honestly should have just cut it myself.

Chloe here is great! She was very patient and helpful when I decided on the last color before a wedding that I wanted to brighten the color after months of doing the same thing. Everyone who works here is always kind and accommodating and there's a parking lot. I had been a customer for 4 years at Accolades and it had been fine, Sam does a great job. However, the last 2 times I went I ended up paying more (one time significantly more) than what was quoted to me over the phone. The way they do their pricing has changed since I started there, leaving awkward on the spot negotiations in the chair, and many extra add on charges. When I called to go over my negative negotiating experiences, I was directed to talk to Alicia, who said it was her salon, and she was very confrontational and didn't want to take the time to listen. Much of what Alicia relayed to me resulted in an understanding that they do not care about their returning customers.

I’ve been here more than three or four times with Julie P! She is phenomenal with hair! I’ve never had a bad experience, because she is always on top of things! She has gotten me to platinum blonde hair (from dark brown hair) along with giving me fun colors like purple or silver! I recently went back to brown tones and she always knows what I want! Her haircuts are also amazing! She knows exactly how to cut my hair according to my face frame. I will always go back to Julie!

OMG. I loveSam! She is an amazing stylist, and is very good at listening to exactly what I want. She cuts hair like BOSS! As a former professional stylist myself, there is absolutely no one else I would trust with my hair—her technical skills are on point. Always walk out looking on fleek (as the kids say). The person who did my mani/pedi was really nice, but the products they used for the manicure really don't seem to be the best. The polish didn't go all the way to my cuticles and it was literally peeling off on my drive home. It peeled off a ton around my cuticles, but not near the tips of my nails, so I don't have a clue what went wrong there. I ended up taking the polish off that same night since it looked so bad. Kind of disappointed. It was my first time there and I'm not sure I'll be back after that. I did really like the pedicure, they were much gentler than other places I've gone in the past.

After having leukemia and a bone marrow transplant, I'm very sensitive to many chemicals and fragrances. I so appreciate that at Accolades it's easy to know exactly what is in the products, and although there is some salon scent, it's much less strong than in any other salon I've tried. I've had very good experiences with getting my hair cut there, and given that just a few years ago I was bald that's a particularly big deal for me. The staff is always kind and gracious.

Accolades is the salon that has changed the way I look at getting my hair done. (An exaggeration? Actually, no.) When I have an appointment at Accolades, I'm pampered, surrounded by smiles, and respected. I never feel guilty for coming in after I've doused my head in a box of Target hair dye or after I've decided to try & trim my ends on my own. Stylists are extremely talented and creative -- Josy has earned my complete & utter loyalty by ALWAYS executing my visions. Pricy? Yeah, but what do you expect? I got my hair cut by Julie and fixed by Megan. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR. I am a firm believer that experience level does not always correlate to talent, but it is obvious that neither of these stylists has much (or any) experience with curly hair. The initial cut was lopsided- 2-3 inches longer on one side than the other and uneven all around. The fix made my hair excruciatingly short and the ends are still abhorrently uneven. I feel like I paid $60 to have my confidence destroyed. I would never even consider coming here again, and I wish there had been ANY level of transparency to convey that these stylists were not capable of cutting my hair well. I have never felt more uncomfortable with myself as a result of a hair cut, and I am very angry about this experience.

For a haircut and/or color, I love seeing Jenny! She is outstanding. I would also recommend Angela for waxing. The product selection that they have at Accolade is also fantastic. I had several services performed at Accolades using a gift card I'd been given for a graduation present. I had a massage, eyebrow wax, eyebrow tint, and pedicure. The massage was wonderful. The individual performing the massage seemed very skilled and also didn't try to have small talk. She just let me relax, which I loved. Moving on to the eyebrow wax and tint. The waxing was fine, but the tinting didn't accomplish anything. When the tinting was over, my brows were pretty much the exact same color. I ended with a pedicure. It was pretty good, but shorter than I have experienced at any other salon. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I'd definitely recommend a massage!

I was so nervous about my hair cut due to past bad experience (from another salon not related to Accolades). I have been searching for good cut and colour for my hair, and finally found Accolades! I did schedule my appointment and finally got my hair cut done by Shelly, She is just amazing and is professional with her work. The quality of service matters a lot and I am satisfied with the work done on my hair and the staff is so welcoming! I was there for 1 hour and Shelly does wonders to hair with her magical hands and Scissors! I am waiting for my hair colour to be done and hoping to be the best as well!
