Had my hair colored, the colorist girl did not even come back to check on my hair how it came out. Seriously WTF?

I had my hair cut by someone named Niko. We agreed that he would cut my hair to two inches below my chin. Three and half hours later, I left with it an inch above. My hair is thick and frizzy, and it immediately fuzzed up into a circle. I complained to Niko. He said that I should give it a few days to settle. I called the salon and left a message for his supervisor but no one called back. I would not recommend this salon at all. What a disaster.

I was traveling to Boston for a conference. I walked in the salon and they were very warm and welcoming. I needed a haircut and thankfully Niko was available. I told Niko what I wanted and he gave me his professional opinion and delivered exactly what I expected. Very pleased with the haircut and the salon environment, everyone seems to be happy to work there. I wish they had Sassoon in Texas where I live.

I don't know what has happened here....seems like management issues. Several top people (cutters, colorist) have left. I had an appointment for a Saturday morning neck trim (a courtesy they give to regular customers) at 10:00 a.m. They asked me to return at 11:30, which I did. However, at 11:30 the stylist, Niko, was still working on another customer and taking his time finishing up. I told the front desk that I had to leave to meet a friend for lunch; I assumed that with an appointment at 10:00 a.m. there would be plenty of time for a neck trim that takes about 10 minutes. She seemed surprised. So I walked out and won't return. When my colorist left recently, they refused to tell me where she went. The salon is being run for the benefit of the employees instead of the customers. Go around the corner...there are plenty of great cutters and colorists on Newbury Street...there's no need for this lack of professionalism and rude behavior.

Nico gives a very technical men's haircut. He listened to all of my input and gave me a superior percision haircut that took over an hour exclusively with scissors and a comb. Expensive at $105.00 but well worth the expense. I highly recommend his work. The salon is modern, clean and we'll staffed.

Very disappointed to see the result after paying $150 including tips! I had to trim my hair right after I got home. It was beyond an 'ordinary' cut... "Top Stylist"?! :(

I had a haircut with Niko. We discussed what I wanted, and I told him explicitly NO short bangs, and not too much layers. I ended up with bangs so short I can't even get them tuck behind my ears, when he said they would be below my lips. They stick up so much I look like I'm from the 90s. When I expressed discomfort towards my hair style, the only thing he said was, "Well *I* like it," which made me feel not only ugly, but also that my opinion didn't matter.

I've been going to the Sassoon Salon for years now. I started out as a hair model for the Salon when I was in my early twenties. I had creative bobs and hair colors that can only be found on tropical fishes in the Caribbean. Now that I am older, I've toned down my style to something more natural. What I like most about the stylists at the salon is that they will listen to you and help guide you to finding the perfect cut / color for your style and face structure. The colorists are up for anything. If you want fun and funky - they'll do the best ombre hairstyle you've seen on this part of Newbury street. If you want a more natural look- their game and will make your normal hair color pop with some complimentary highlights. The only downfall is the cost of the salon. But hey, you really get what you pay for here. So spend more and feel like a million dollars when you leave with an $80-$100 cut.
