He gave me amazing suggestions about hair-care, always takes care about the color and state of my curls, as well as a good person to talk with about everything. So, I'm more than happy that found this place!

Horatio is simply amazing! I’ve been getting my fine curly hair cut by him for almost 10 years now. I found him after thoroughly researching the best stylists in the city. I always get a great cut. Over the years I have known him, he has traveled to London and Miami to continue his education and learn new techniques. I would not trust my hair to anyone else. Horatio is such a warm and sweet personality and an incredible artist.

Little did I know of Safar Salon or Serge, just happened upon this bustling salon and was fortunate enough to have my hair styled by a master in design, Serge is amazing transforming my look into the unimaginable - wearing the same style I took a chance and said...do what you think is right for me. I am in my mid fifty's and like long hair, he was able to keep my length while giving me a jazzy sassy new look!! Sooo many compliments and I'm walking on air, wow what lift!! Just in time for summer:) But it didn't stop there as from Ada who luxuriously washed my hair to the smart, beautiful lovely ladies who helped me with new product EVERYONE at Safar is amazing!! LOVE my new salon and will travel from Lexington to go there!!

Horacio is simply incredible. I recommend everyone to cut your hair with him. He really listens to you and treats your hair as art. I was impressed with his skills and perfectionism. He also has an amazing personality which made the experience unique and enjoyable. I used to travel to cut my hair, but I finally found the one here who I can really trust.

The place looks nice and clean but here's my story. I have my baby shower planned for Saturday and I connected with the saloon two weeks before and scheduled an appointment. I shared with the stylist the picture of how I wanted my hair to be colored and she confirmed that it will look 100% like the picture from the first time, which made me so excited. When I went there yesterday, they kept me for three hours, and after she rinsed my hair, it just looked as dark as it was before dying. I told her this had nothing to do with the picture I showed her. The devastating part is that she told me that I need three sessions to get to that color!! That was really upsetting because before I started I confirmed that this is the color that I wanted to walk out with. She let me stay for another two hours trying to get to the color I wanted with no success. I'm so upset that I'm going to my baby shower not having the color I wanted to and was promised by her.

Great place and service. I called the day before made an appointment with experience stylist. I tried 4 different salons in same street this is my favorite and the only one I want to go back to. I have short hair which is not that common in the area so happy I find my new stylist

Not impressed with my hair color at all. Went there twice for hair color. It was ok the first time and 2nd wasn’t great at all. My hair color was the same , no color change. Never go back again. So pricey, but poor service and quality.
