The location of the hair salon and the interior is great; however the cost of the hairdo is a ripoff. The owner does not tell you the various prices ahead of time. My daughter got her hair braided expecting to pay $90 instead she was charged $130. When questioning why, the owner went ranting about totally unrelated staff to our concern to justify her case. No wonder why her reviews are so bad. None of my family members will ever step foot in this salon. She could use customer handling for dummies 101 training course.

I have been going to Misrak’s salon for many years and I have done pretty much every hair style you can think of ( braids, human hair extension, coloring, many hair cuts..so on) and always very happy with the results. I strongly suggest not to bother looking elsewhere and just go there and give it a try, I promise you will love her work.

They don’t give the same service to everybody; they don’t take card. The first time I go there they make an excuse that the machine is not working and I had to go out and use an ATM paying extra 10 dollars. I went there again after a few months and they gave me the same excuse and still have to go out and get cash. So not convenient and who wants the extra cost. Plus the hairdo was just OK, nothing special so now I don’t go there anymore.

Way too overpriced for their subpar service. They're completely unprofessional, and will leave you hanging for several minutes with your hair looking crazy to run their personal errands, and expect you to be okaywith it. Complete rip off... Plus they charge different amounts for different people for the SAME service. And the place is filthy too. I DON'T recommend this place at all.

Unbelievably unprofessional. I don't even know where to begin. Gonna list a few things that might help the next person decide if this Salon is worth the trip. 1. Scheduled an appointment for specific time, however wasn't seen until 2 hours later. 2. Rushed through my wash because the hairdresser was busy on her phone and eating. 3. Prices are not clearly marked, so went in thinking I was going to pay the same price as last time, however she jacked up the price an additional 35.00. Mainly because because I was not Ethiopian. 4. They seem to favor their Ethiopian clients before anyone else even if your there waiting before them. 5. Hairdressers constantly walk away from the clients to socialize with the random kids running around in the salon. They even leave while your sitting in the seat mid blowdry to walk next door to get their lunch/dinner from the nearby restaurant. If you like waiting your entire day at the salon and being treated like you dont be long, then this place is definitely for you.
