I made the appointment for my haircut this August...but was not told how much a simple cut cost...so I went...and boy boy boy!!! It was a terrible experience of everything that I don't wven know where to begin...first of all, the appearance of the salon was very old and looked like some abandoned stocking room. But that was my least concerns...during the hair cut, the persons wh worked on me kept changing...i understand some places have specific person for wash, dry, cut, and coloring...but that wasn't my case..it was more like the persons were busy at doing something else...it was a simple hair cut and took an hour and half...in the middle of the cut, the girl went on talking with someone and left me sitting there for over half an hour without being attended by anybody...she came back appologized...but she did nit think it was more appropriate to excuse herself before she left me there waiting, wasting my time??and they certainly did nit admit me when I arrived 30 minutes earlier...when it came to the price...guess how much??70$...10% off for paying cash...what's even more rediculous was they had a mandatory rate of tip...I paid 63$ for a crapy hair cut and 11$ mandatory tips...you have to be kidding me...if the hair cut was an extrodinary job done, I wouldn't complain...but that was one of the worst haircuts I've ever had, no style..the gurl seemed to deliberately drag out the time to make her work more valuable. And the mandatory rate of tip?? Do you understand what "tip" means? You can suggest, like in restaurant, how much percentage of tips, but you cannot "mandate." Regardless, the work they did and the service they provide were not worth the money I spent on them...their price is more expensive than NYC and any local salon I've ever gone...70$ for a simple hair cut...Was I being robbed by this place?
