I want to make a review on here because I am literally obsessed with this place and tell all my friends about it. They are Boston's first weave bar and keep getting better and adding new services as they grow! I moved back to New England in January, 2017 and have been using Intriguing Hair since then! I like to switch up my hair a lot so I come in about every month or so. They are super fast! And let me start by saying, my natural hair is 20" long. But I have been getting a full weave (24"-28" extensions) with a leave out. And Intriguing Hair braids up my natural hair plus sews in all of the wefts in less than 2 hours every time! SO FAST. Also, they are the most COMFORTABLE WEAVES I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I never take Tylenol or Advil before coming in and the weave is snug & tight but totally painless. The places I use to go to before Intriguing hair would be super painful installs and I would often get those bumps around my hairline from the tightness and irritation. But I never have had that experience with Intriguing Hair! I encourage you to go check it out! You can walk inside their store and check out their different types of hair bundles, wig options, etc. (And then in the back of the store, there is a private room where they do the installs so you feel super comfortable when you are there knowing that no one can see you while the stylist is doing your hair.) PS: They work with ALL TYPES of hair including Caucasian, Asian, African American and anything in between! Also they have super fair prices and provide such quality hair and installs. It's so worth it!

I came across this company while researching indique hair I found it strange how their name sounds like indique hair anyways I bought 16/18/20 body wave due to the good reviews I saw on google well I can tell you don't believe the hype and the fake ass reviews intriguing hair sells wack ass processed fake hair from china ...the hair didn't even last one week of using it and it sheds horribly I wasted $280 on fake hair and the owner assured me my hair would last over a year. This is pure TRASH save your money and stay away from this company selling fake china hair at high prices. UPDATE: The hair was straightened and I layed forward to take the picture that is why it looks longer and I am not that tall either so I don't know what you are getting at I know what I purchased and you hair is TRASH work on it and stop trying to make it seem like I am making this up.

I love love love it here! I have purchased hair from this weave bar previously and fell in love. The hair is truly amazing. The receptionist was so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is so relax and chill. Literally sitting in the chair getting a frontal installation and I am in love with my hair already. Imari is freaking fantastic. Not only is she amazing at installing hair but she has amazing tips on achieving healthy hair. The owner Nikki is beyond personable! This weave bar deserves more than 5 stars. This is the spot to go to in Boston!

Nikki’s installations are great. Ive always been able to get appointments quickly. I’ve gone there several times so far and will continue to go. I drive over an hour to go to Intriguing Hair because they are the best. The quality of their service is great. They make clients feel welcome. Nikia and Baron are always happy to help. They are quick in their response time when you message questions. They are very informative and know their products and services well. I ask a lot of questions and they are always wonderful and willing to help. I will definitely buy their bundles because I’ve heard all good reviews about it from others. I love their crochet hair and the variety of colors. And if you haven’t already make sure you check out Intriguing Hair’s Instagram page. Their work is wonderful and it really helps when trying to choose a style. Their website is very descriptive and informative. I highly recommend Intriguing Hair. Intriguing hair is my favorite hair to wear it’s always so soft beautiful and manageable and maintains that quality for a long time I usually wear 26-28 inches and some places bundles are so stringy and thin on the bottom but not the case with intriguing hair. the employees are really nice and patient in helping u pick the type of hair u want how u want to wear it and even if u need it installed on scene or not they are great. The wigs in the window are to die for and id gladly wear any one of them . They are informative polite and professional on top of having every length every wave pattern and the store is decorated with so much style and flavor so love the pink walls I would advise any and everyone to shop Here get styled here and u will truly love your hair .....They are very reasonable on prices But if your cheap and not into quality I wouldn’t wAste the time searching prices here .

These reviews are horrible and it shows exactly how bad your customer service is. I could see if maybe the person is just trying to give your company a hard time purposely, but every bad review except one you claim you don't know the customer, but somehow you remember every detail about them coming in and what they told you about this that and the other. I would never want to shop somewhere when customer are sought out to be liars when something goes wrong.

I got my hair styled and not even a month into the install my hair looks like trash, My tracks are loose, and she left a whole bunch of space at the top of my head. Not only that they need to practice how to cut hair because she cut my hair straight across and it was un even and she messed up my bundles! Lied to me and told me she couldn't curl my hair that same day I went to another stylist and she fixed my hair!

Had 3 bundles of Brazilian deep wave installed earlier this week. My natural hair wasn't blending too well, but Nikki and Nikki (I don't know if they both spell it the same) blow dried, flatironed, and curled my leave out to blend it in. The two ladies are high spirited with a great sense of humor. Nikki #2 did an amazing job! She doesn't braid super tight to where your eyes look Chinese, and she sewed the bundles in so quick I was for sure they would come loose. But nope. They're still secured and I can't even tell I have cornrows under the tracks. I straightened my deep wave yesterday and the hair still looks beautiful and bouncy with VERY minimal shedding when I comb/brush it. The quality of hair is great and it's real human hair! I dont understand a couple of these other reviews stating otherwise. I do wish that they were a full service salon so that they can have a more intimate relationship with the customer's hair. When I find someone I'm comfortable with, I only want that person to work on my hair throughout the entire process from wash to style. But now that they know what's up with my hair, I'm ok with washing it at home before I get my sew ins. Highly recommend and they gained a client for life!

The service I received was a 360 install. I called and asked if I needed to drop the wig off before the appointment to get knots bleached, plucking, etc (wig prep). As recommended, I ended up dropping the wig off a day prior to my Appt. The reviews are accurate that everyone is nice and professional. Very approachable hair stylists. However I gave 2 stars because nothing was done to my wig in preparation for the install. They didn’t pluck the hairline, wash it...nothing. Dropping it off the day before was unnecessary. They did offer to give me some baby hairs, but I didn’t want them. I did get the wig flat ironed, but I do wish there was more to the service. I don’t think glueing the wig down and trimming the lace amounts to $150.

Terrible experience. Bought 3 bundles and a closure of blonde hair for a totals of 420 . Not only was the blondes different colors from closure piece . 3 days after instal hair was so matted had to be cut out and thrown away . Total waste of money . Would not recommend any services or recommend there products . Total rip off

Needed a new look for an out of town black tie wedding. These ladies rearranged their schedule in order to accommodate my travel plans after the blizzard forced us to miss the appointment. They are wonderful and my hair looked perfect! They talked me through the whole process since this was my first lace front! I’ll be back for the next wedding in September!
