Called to ask for pricing for the service I inquired about and was told she needed to see what she was “working with”. When I got there she automatically started working on my hair without quoting me on a price. I’m not some fat cow you can milk. Wait time is ridiculous. Didn’t even take me at my scheduled time. Took 2.5 hours just for a weave take out and a wash because she was taking 3 other people in between. At the end of the day she wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for the service I wanted. I only paid for the take out and the wash which was supposed to be free and walked away. It is not a celebrity hair salon. You are better off going to a salon on Newbury st.

Annetta must be an angel sent from the hair gods! She’s so talented and nice. After I got my partial weave done in another so called luxurious salon on newbury street, my leave out (super straight brown Asian hair) didn’t match my weave at all. I was so anxious because I have to attend a wedding the following day. I came across this salon on yelp and made an appointment in advance. Annetta welcomed me and told me to come in on the same day. She looked at my hair and quickly decided what to do. My first language isn’t English but she listened to me carefully and made sure she knows what I wanted. She finished my weave so fast and skillfully. She treated me with great patience despite that I had so many questions. The result of my hair was absolutely stunning! I got so many compliments on my way back home. She was always smiling and really funny as well! Super easy to work with. She then styled my hair with gorgeous curls and I felt like a brand new person! The price was also reasonable. I’ll give girlfriend hooked me up salon more than five stars if I could!!

This was my first time visiting Girlfriend Hooked Me Up and when I called and asked for finger waves, my hair posed a bit of a challenge to achieve the original look. However, Annetta gave me beautiful dry finger waves look and I would definitely recommend anyone in Ma especially the Boston area to get their hair done here. Where do I begin, well for starters I went to another salon earlier in the day my hair was jacked up. So I called Ms. annetta and she went out of her way to meet me. I called at 5pm shop closes at 7pm I request an appt for 6pm and due to her schedule she agreed to meet me after hours. We met at 7:30pm and I am still herr. The first salon ruined my hair. For What I paid it should not have looked as horrible as it did. Ms. Annettaa counselled me and gave me tips for what I shoupd be doing. She gave me options between flat iron and Hotcomb. She has been amazing and I am telling you she is highly recommended. My hair looks AMAZING! IF I AM WILLING TO TRAVEL AN HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES FOR THIS WOMAN TRUST ME SHE IS WORTH IT.
