I've been going there on and off for 5 yrs. I like it. Very nice atmosphere. However the management is terrible! I resently went and had highlights done. I was told it would be $117. I agreed. At check out time I was told my total was $160! Yep. $160. I asked why and they said bc I had a blow dry. What???? A $43 blow dry. I made a scene, said how rediculous that was and nothing. They didn't care. Didn't see how foolish they sounded. It took maybe 10 min to blow dry my shoulder length hair and i was charged $43. I still can't get over it. I could have purchased a blow dryer for less. I will never return. Oh, and you have to get a blow dry. REDICULOUS

Kristin is amazing! She has been my stylist for years and she makes me feel beautiful every time I’m in her chair! I go from blonde to dark all of the time and I’m always so so happy with how soft and amazing my hair looks when I’m done! The salon is beautiful and the staff is super nice!

I’ve had to many bad experiences just going to a Floyd’s or a sports clip so I ponied up the ten extra bucks to go to a hair salon and man was it the best decision of my life. I walked in and was greeted by Leanny and she very kindly welcomed me and I immediately felt comfortable. She instantly got me with my hair stylist, Abbye. I’ve had thousands of haircuts before but what Abbye was able to do to my hair was impeccable. It is by far the best haircut I have ever received. I had so much confidence the next day at work I closed two huge deals. Besides the haircut Abbye was very friendly and personable through out my whole time there ( I have a ton of hair so it takes a while). So if you want A good stylish haircut go to Victoria and Albert and ask for Abbye.

I have been going to V&A for many years and have experienced most of the stylists. They are all professional, courteous and most of all, leave you feeling beautiful at the end of your appointment. My favorite stylist is Karin but others are very good. Give this place a try!

I recently had the most wonderful experience getting my hair colored at Victoria & Albert Hair Studio by Abbye! My wedding is coming up and I really wanted highlights for it. I was nervous, but Abbye was able to advise me on how far ahead of time to make my appointment, and went through pictures of hair with me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. On the day of my appointment, I was greeted by the receptionist and Abbye came out promptly to take me back to the salon. It was very clean and not noisy. Abbye did balayage highlighting on my hair, and I was left with coffee and snacks while the color set in. Afterwards I got a wash and blowout. The entire experience was extremely comfortable and professional, and I am thrilled with the result! It's exactly what I was looking for for my wedding day!

I am new to Columbia MD and worried about finding someone to take the place of my last stylist. I have long hair and I needed natural highlights. Jason is the best! If you schedule, request him specifically and you won't regret it. Their prices are higher than most, but well worth the results.

Cori is the absolute best. She always perfects my hair and is SO sweet and easy to chat with. Every picture I have ever shown her she matches it! From purple, blue, green, blonde, brown, balayage. She also has taken me from waist length hair all the way up to a short pixie cut to everything in between. She can do it all! Oh, and V&A new salon is gorgeous and super modern!

This place is the biggest let down. Everyone is very nice, let me say that. I have been here three times, about to be four so that the owner can fix it once again. Everytime I go they royally mess it up and I have to wait a few days to go back because of how burned my scalp is from over processing. I cannot believe at how they can mess up a root touch up that they did. I am baffled. Oh and I had to pay for these mistakes, no refunds.
