Great place to go all around! They do natural hair, permed hair, mens locks or anything just everything you need amd want at one place! The people there are very friendly and know exactly what you want getting everything to perfection. They take great care for your hair and even do little childrens hair better than I've ever seen. By far the best hair salon in the area.

Marissa always does my daughter's hair and each time it's perfect. She treats her with such care, and she talks to her about how she wants her hair styled to make her feel like a big girl (she looks over her head to make sure it is ok with me of course). But my daughter loves the experience, I get time back on my hands, and work last. Finally, the prices are reasonable and they are convenient. Love this shop!

They are great at accommodating you for last minute appointments. Unfortunately I have to say though, the stylists tend to be incredibly intrusive. I am not a patron however my teenage daughters are. They have complained to me that the stylists have questioned them several times about their dad who use to drop them off prior to our divorce. I found this to be completely unprofessional. My daughter's also informed me that the stylists would speak ask them questions in English then turn around and respond to each other in French to which my youngest is fluent and had stated that they'd be gossiping about them (my daughters) in particular. Again, very unprofessional. I only take my daughters here as a last minute option. I am not a fan of this establishment for the lack of professionalism alone!

The vibe at Texture is super fun and friendly. Ramsey is a magician. I'm constantly changing my colour and recently transitioned from burgundy to back to blonde and my hair is baby soft and looks healthier than before bleaching. Magic!

As a new customer I was extremely unsatisfied with the customer service. Ones work can be amazing but the lack of professionalism can completely take away from your work. I walked in right at 11 January 13, 2018 for my scheduled 11 o’clock appointment. I sat down and my stylist said only one thing to me she will be with me in a moment. I’m thinking okay she’s finishing someone up. Now I was here for literally a loc maintenance. When my stylist was done with the client in the chair she immediately pulled another woman from under the dryer. It was 1 and a half hours before someone decided to help her by washing my locs. It was another 1 hour sitting under the dryer while she finished yet a third clients hair. It took 1 hour to do my retwists and maintenance. Then another 1 hour to dry my hair and just as I had a look of are you seriously going to start a fourth persons hair when my hair is definitely dry look she Came to check my hair which was definitely dry. At this point everyone can see my look and irritation. See I got hip to her game the time under the dryer she would check my hair and tell me a little longer then she could start someone else’s hair. All of her other clients were in and out however somehow I was shafted. When she checked my hair and said five more minutes I told her no and I had to go. I paid and tossed her card outside in the trash. I will never return. My appointment was at 11. Hour did I leave at 330 for a loc maintenance.

Went twice and was there the whole day even with an appointment. Did not like my hair, but the stylist tried to tame my hair so I didn't fuss. Prices aren't bad and the place is clean. I probably won't return though. I don't like sitting around all day long for less than fabulous results.

My first visit to Textures was amazing. My stylist was Pat. She helped me figure out what I needed to do to color my hair. I came into the salon hoping to redye my hair red however when I saw pink in their color book I couldn't resist. I'd never dyed my hair such a light color from my dark brown natural black hair. She made sure I knew the process behind it and that made me feel secure in my decision. Pat is very kind and her shampoos feel really good. Prices are great too!! Will be coming back. :}

Just called in to ask some questions and the woman was pretty inhospitable. I only asked three questions max and she sounded annoyed. She didn't seem to understand English that well either. It may be just me, but when I'm asking questions about how my hair will be cut I want someone who understands what I'm saying completely. Lastly, I couldn't even finish saying "okay thank you" before she abruptly hung up the phone. Because of that one phone call, I'm very discouraged to setting foot in that place.

Not only was the staff friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere of this salon goes above and beyond. I was treated with respect and I had great conversation with my hair stylist. She texturized my hair and paid attention to my needs and my concerns. For one I did have a bad experience at another salon which was the reason why I was hesitant to get my hair done again. I had no hesitation after my time at Textures. My hair was taken care of in a timely and effective method. Added to this, the salon is beautiful, clean, organized and the music compliments everything. If you are a person who rarely ever gets their hair done, Textures Hair salon WILL take care of you.

I've gone to many places to get my hair cut, and I can't say enough about the amazing staff at Texture. Ramsey is excellent, the fact that I can just sit at his station, and he just cuts and styles without ever having to ask, is amazing! He always knows how to cut it, to suit me. All the staff there is friendly, knowledgeable, funny, professional, and don't forget...attractive ;-) The whole essence of Texture is fun, and relaxing, all at the same time, when you walk through those doors, you feel like part of the family. It's obvious Ramsey and all the staff figured out the secret to enjoy what they do, and be happy doing it, without compromising their professionalism, or quality. Keep up the great work gang!!

The best experience ever!! I found Textures because I was in search of a PROFESSIONAL salon where the staff understands their clientele and are flexible to their needs. I have thin hair - dreadlocks and braids many years ago. For many years I wore wigs so I would not have to show my hair. I finally got up enough courage to get crochet braids from another salon in Gaithersburg. They were very unprofessional when attending to my hair Needless to say I did not return. When I contacted Textures I shared my angst and prior experience and let’s say Pat and Marissa bent over backwards to ensure my comfort before and during my visit to the shop. Not only that they made me feel at home, were professional and did an AWESOME job! I FOUND A NEW HOME! Thank you ladies and you have a patron for life! Pros- prices are reasonable. Surrounding shopping area is nice. The stylists were nice. Cons- natural hair was bleached and not conditioned afterward and was " trimmed" while wet, at no cost. I had to get another trim a week later.
