Tanesha is very talented and very professional. I hve been going to her for a few years and I am always pleased with my service and how my hair looks when I leave the salon. It is very difficult to find someone who actually sees me at my appointed time and does a great job. Highly recommend her and appreciate her commitment to maintaining my natural hair without chemicals. She is a rare find, I am so happy I found her to help me care for my hair!

My experience with Taneasha Hines and Posh Hair Designz has been nothing but pleasant. She is very professional and knowledgeable. The salon is very nice and trendy and has a personal touch to it. I am so in love with my hair. I get complements on my hair all the time. Tanesha really help bring my hair back to a healthy state after a battle with severe anemia 2 years ago: ya'll, my hair fall out! Now, people swear I have a perm, but I don't. Tanesha just has amazing techinque and uses top of the line products. The best advice she ever gave me was, "commit to your hair." I am glad I did. Trust me; I have been natural for 20 years, and she is the real deal. FYI: She is very busy catering to clients so just go online for info. And prices. She answers e-mails.

There are alot of good stylists out there, but most of them lack that professionalism which causes their clients to leave. Please visit this stylist, you won't regret it.

I have been to this salon a few times before, and I want to say that I did not have any issues with how my hair was done. I do want to say however that the policies of the salon are not customer oriented. I was told that the policy is that appointments be made online in order to guarantee payment. I understood that and was willing to provide my credit card information directly to the owner on the phone if I could go ahead and book an appointment. I was told "no" because that is not their policy (online only). I certainly understand wanting to ensure payment was made which was what I was trying to do before booking. The owner did not want to take the time to book the appointment but instead directed me to the online appointment process. What about elderly clients who may have difficulties conducting business online? The owners rigid policy does not show any consideration for customers who may want to protect their own financial information. Additionally, potential customers can tell the owner is not customer oriented by noting the lack of response by the owner to any negative reviews on this site

I booked an appointment for a consultation and was pleased with the outcome of my initial meeting with Taneasha. Together we developed a plan of action for my hair that not only promoted hair growth but was also easy for me to manage as I transitioned from processed to natural hair. I met Tanesha for the first time in September 2015. I was coming back to the DMV area from Hawaii and needed a hairstylist. She was very approachable and professional and uses great products and treatments for hair care maintenance. After being with my previous stylist for over 10+ years, I found my new stylist Taneasha. Taneasha has been a blessing; when I came to Taneasha my hair was thinning badly, and my 12 year old daughter’s hair was getting shorter by the week. I started going to Taneasha in Jan 2016 and she’s completely stopped my hair from thinning and my daughter’s hair is healthy and is growing back beautifully. Taneasha’s really into healthy hair; she’s always talking about new products she’s found, and she’s even taking a course to increase her knowledge on all things HAIR. I’ve been going to the hairdresser now for over 20 years and have NEVER come across a stylist so passionate about her job. You can tell she really loves what she does and it shows in her detailed work. She goes the extra mile to talk with you about any concerns/problems you may be having with your hair; she’s very informative on how you can fix the situation and how you can maintain healthy hair. We discussed a few concerns I had prior to coming to her, and she was able to make very sound and practical decisions (that should have made by my other stylist). I love how intimate her space is, and how you don’t have to worry about overcrowding in the salon. Taneasha is open to your suggestions and easy to work with. If you’re in the Laurel, Maryland area and you’re looking for a stylist, give Taneasha a call. You won’t be sorry!
