More Hair! Studio is a savior when it comes to taking care of your hair! During the beginning of my lock journey my locs were becoming weighed (too heavy...product build up, dust, lint etc.). I had my first consultation with Ms. LaRetta and then my next appointment was with Jo. After several visits and following the instructions of the EXPERTS my hair got on the right track. Fast forward several years, again my hair is being wayward. Again Jo gave me recommendations for caring for my locks and scalp in between visits. On my next visit I told Jo I used her recommendation and she in turn told me she noticed the difference in my scalp and hair from my last visit. So, to wrap it all up these women know hair and what it takes to take care and have healthy hair and a healthy scalp. It's hard to find someone who has the complete skill set to care, style and maintain your hair. Trust and believe one visit to MoreHair! Studio you will return again and again. #Loc'd Fa Lyfe

I had been to several salons but was disappointed with the services I received. I went on a quest on-line and stumbled on More Hair Salon. I needed hair color rescue and I read Allan Van Johnson's profile which was pretty impressive and decided to schedule a consulting appointment with him. The atmosphere at More Hair Salon was very inviting, clean and comfortable and the vibes on pointe. The courteous nature and professionalism of all the other stylists at More Salon was also very impressive. I shared my honest color blunders experiences with Allan and he made recommendations for color correction and explained all the products he would use and the process in layman's language. He was taking notes which was very impressive and showed a high sense of professionalism. He listened to me and my concerns which made me feel comfortable enough to trust him therefore I scheduled my appointment for the following week. When Allan started the color correction process my hair color went through different color shades and when I looked in the mirror I was puzzled and he must have sensed it because he reassured me and clarified the process. The process took longer than anticipated but his professionalism and courteous nature made the whole difference. Allan has a wealth of knowledge in natural hair and he provided undivided attention. He reassured me and provided clarification throughout the process. He provided advice on products to use for natural hair and how to maintain and moisturize using the 80/20 rule.(You needed to schedule an appointment with him to learn about the 80/20 rule) Excellent service…. God Bless!! More Hair Salon is a hidden gem for natural hair. I don't normally write reviews but couldn't help but share this amazing experience.

Can you say WOW?! I witnessed Ms. LaRetta turn my mothers and several of my aunts aunts hair, from dry, thinning breakage to luscious full flowing! Talk about a transformation! The extent of hair knowledge certainly makes her a hair doctor complete with the "Ph.D". I've never seen anything like it!

The overall experience was not that great, but I do believe that if I were to ever return, I would definitely pick another stylist. I must be honest and say that I would not recommend the stylist named Latte to anyone that I know. Overall, I felt very rushed and unwelcome by her demeanor and attitude in the beginning. She didn't go over details that stylists should discuss and ask of their clients. I had to tell her what she should have asked. She seemed very unorganized and unprepared. The other stylists and staff that I saw seemed very genuine and passionate about their work and as they were dealing with their clients and even with me as well, even though I wasn't their client. I am not entirely disappointed with my hair, but I do not believe it was worth what I paid for style wise and with customer service. I truly believe it would have been better off going to a barber and then dying my hair myself instead of wasting my money, but now I know.

This was my first visit here, and it was the most pleasant and amazing experience I have ever had at a salon. First thing about this place is that it is spacious, high ceilings, great natural light and the building matches the good vibes and welcoming tone you get the moment you walk in the door. My stylest was Moyin who has amazing history with hair and hair products that are phenomenal. She single handedly made this place a must for me to ALWAYS come back to.

I just want to say - I was very satisfied. The salon appearance/decor is very nice and the services was very professional. I was happy/pleased to know that someone actually took the time to listen about my natural needs and or concerns without rushing to do my hair. The vibe was so cool and relaxing. I am very picky and never satisfied when it comes to my hair..ummm.. PLUS I never do reviews... However, I like my hair a lot and I actually got a twist up simple do. I love it and that's what counts. I am considering the sisterlocks and if the decision is made - This will be the place. If I did social media I would have posted a pic... Thanks Ms. J.

Superb experience! More Hair took care of every single concern I had regarding my Sisterlock retightening. Debbie (the administrator) took detailed notes about my concerns and Allen (my assigned Loctician) delivered excellent results. This was the first time I ever let anyone else maintain my sister locks other than the person who installed them who lives several states away! My experience at More Hair has renewed my faith in hair salons, I'm grateful that they actually "listened" to my needs. The atmosphere was a nice relaxing vibe, with good energy. Not to mention free parking. So very grateful for the integrity that they operate with and for my new found Loctician!
