Love gloss hair studio. Before Missy opened her own salon I would never tell other people my stylist's name, just the salon, because she was so good and I didn't want other people hogging up her appts. Thats how good she is... people stop me and ask about my hair. Who doesn't love that! I have super long, thick hair and she makes it look amazing every time! I met her when I was being impatient and went to a cheap salon for a haircut (instead of waiting for an appt from my usual place) and she fixed their disaster.

I have been seeing my stylist , Melissa, for over a decade. I am so thrilled she now has her very own shop, Gloss! She is amazing!!!!! I have had many different styles over the years and she has made them all look incredible. One of the best things about Melissa is how knowledgeable about her craft she is. Just this week as she was giving me a Balyage treatment she meticulously explained to me why she was doing what she was doing and how it would affect the look of the hair. As I was processing a new client came in next to me and I listened as Melissa explained to her all of the different options she had for extensions and for her bridal hair. The girl left with a fabulous blowout and declared that she was making this her new go-to salon. And it's not just Melissa and her talented team, the shop itself is gorgeous. I wish she could decorate my home! It is welcoming and beautiful. It is full of chic high-end style and the boutique options for cute jewelry and other specialty self-care products are perfect to stop in for even if you don't need a hair cut. She also carries some great high-end salon brands of product that I like such as Oribe and Kevin Murphy. If you are looking for a new salon to call "home" this is the place! They have talented stylists and the feel of the salon is very upscale. Plus, I love that they are bringing so much style to Main Street! #ecstrong

Missy worked wonders on fixing a home color job from 2 years ago that was still holding on tight and the dreaded disaster I caused by using henna on my hair. Henna creates issues with trying to color over it and there was only one product that could work, she was successful. I love my hair cut with long layers as well. The salon is beautiful and peaceful. I loved my time there and look forward to going back in 6 weeks for the next level of my hair transformation.

I had a great first visit to Gloss visiting my long time stylist Brooke. The salon is light and bright. The moment you enter you notice it is quiet in comparison to other salons. The big bright windows invite in the natural light. You are personally greeted, offered wine or other beverages and can sit or browse some of the fun accessories on display. The Oribe and Kevin Murphy products used during your shampoo are luxurious and make you feel like you are visiting a spa. I’ve followed Brooke for a reason;she is a talented stylist who listens to her clients likes and needs. She knows exactly when to offer a change or update to keep your look fresh , and is honest about how ideas will ( or will not) play out on your hair texture. I book several appointments out because I know once people find Gloss, they will love it as much as I did!
