If I could rate this place negative 0 I would. I went into the Salon and requested to have my hair washed, blow dried and flat ironed straight. It all began New Year's Eve. My hair was nice and healthy before going to Claudia's Hair Salon. Now almost 5 months later my hair is nothing like it was before going to her salon. I washed my hair 2 weeks after getting it done and patches of hair started to fall out and there was a really foul chemical smell coming from my hair. The chemical smell lasted for about 3 months and here I am today with hair that is still coming out. The texture is not the same. I use to have a head full of natural beautiful curly thick hair. Now it's so thin and damaged. She destroyed my hair. I emailed the salon about this and I never received a response. PLEASE be aware of what they're putting in the shampoo and conditioners. My hair has been destroyed so bad I feel like breaking down into tears.

Horrible customer service other then me telling claudia how I wanted my hair she only spoke spanish which was bothersome due to the fact that I wad the only customer Valentines afternoon I think I was n there around noon! I'm still shopping for a stylist I wantd the whole experience considering I can do my own hair!

These ladies are awesome. They did everything I asked and more. Just left my very first visit minutes ago. I have 3c natural hair, so I have some pretty tight curls... but leave it to the Dominicans to work their magic! I am really impressed, not just because my hair is fine texture and straight right now w/o a perm, but also because of the experience. Not once was I burned during the blow drying and flat ironing...!!! This is something very hard to find, at any hair salon (at least in my experience). It was so painless that I almost fell asleep! They also have some really nice hair driers (the sit-under kind); they are really snug to your head and dry your hair evenly - and they don’t get unbearably hot. Anyways, this was a great experience for me. I definitely will come back!!

After walking in .. the women payed me no mind! After 20 minutes, someone called me to get my hair washed and then I was sent to someone who had no idea what she was doing. My blow up looked like a complete afro 3 hrs later, wow! Never again. UPDATE: ONE YEAR LATER! no improvements, this place is still crappy. Don't waste your time or your money. Natural hair isn't their thing.

I went for the advertised $25 roll and wrap on a Tuesday afternoon. Pros: quick in and out service, hot dryers Cons: I was charged $10 extra for long hair but I only have shoulder length hair. I opted for a deep conditioner for $10, she applied the same standard rinse out conditioner, put on a plastic cap and put me under the dryer... seriously? LOL

This is the worst hair salon , the lady who washed my hair was soooo careless when detangling my hair , I lost so much hair . She showed me attitude when I offered to help her comb my own hair . Super disappointed . If you have 3 B hair type and medium length , don't go here as they will pull your hair out and burn it. Absolutely worst place ! (If I could sue her I would )
