I went in for a relaxer on my virgin hair and apparently I had some damage from coloring my hair and also doing an at-home keratin treatment. But part of my hair broke off and she saved my hair and it ended up being super cute and I love it ! I had a great experience they even helped me find the place I'll definitely be going back definitely recommend to other customers

I got my hair done on yesterday. My scalp was irritated from the relaxer . I called Connie to complain . Today is Sunday and she told me to come in right away so that she could give me a treatment. I came in and she gave me a shampoo and treatment. I started going to her 8 years ago when she was on Belair Road. She also gave me free products to take home to treat my scalp irritation . I love the way that she communicated with me about the problem. I was not expecting her to do my hair over on a Sunday. She also do my daughters hair and started her hair to grow .

So I randomly googled hair salons in my area and based on the photos and previous reviews and affordable pricing i decided to give this salon a chance. Boy am I glad I did. Consquilla guranteed me that she would have me out of her chair n two hrs or less. and she def had me out within an hr n a half with braiding and installing a full sew in w/ partial leave out. She was so sweet and professional n customer service was top notch. what more can you ask for and of course my hair turned out the bomb and dis not require a motrin because its secured but not tight so there will be no damage or loss to my hair once i take it out. I will be back....thanks Consquilla.

I volunteered to be a model for a class that Consquilla was holding this morning. I just took out box braids last night, and have extremely dry scalp. I'm natural and have not had a relaxer in in over 8 years. Consquilla used an Ashtae dandruff treatment on my hair and Ashtae products for my entire session. I received a blowout and trim and am VERY happy with my results. My hair is fine and by the time she was done, my hair was very full and had lots of body. Consquilla is very sweet and knowledgeable about both natural hair care and weave. I've been skeptical about finding a new stylist, as I just moved to Baltimore 3 months ago, but I was very pleased with my results. Book an appointment with her and I promise you won't be disappointed!

I first came here in December to get my hair done for junior ring dance and I had a good experience. Consquiella really cares about your hair and knows a lot about hair. I loved how she wasn't just cared about getting the money but more about the quality . I've been going to her ever since and everytime she does my hair she does a excellent job. The best part about it is That the prices are a lot cheaper then a typical job. She also has her own line of products and I one of them which is a hair grease and it does well in my hair. Overall it's a good experience everytime.

Conquilla was very nice. Her prices were definitely cheaper than other salons. I got a relaxer and a cut. While the cut did leave my hair feeling a lot fuller, it was cut a bit shorter than I had requested. The relaxer seemed like it did came out pretty good, however, I won't be able to tell for sure until my next wash. Conquilla also used her own hair product to straighten my hair. While I think it would be excellent for natural hair, I think that it was a bit too heavy for my relaxed style. Nonetheless, the price was good.

I am giving her one star because she is a rude, disrespectful, and nasty individual! I have scheduled an appointment for my ends to be cut at $15 and the website had confirmed the appointment! Once I went in there she had asked me what I was there for, and she told me that the cut split ends was not a service and that she wasn’t going to cut my hair because it was “dirty” which she didn’t know because my hair was in a ponytail! She basically said that I needed to spend more money for my hair to be shampooed and blow dried and if I’m not mistaken that isn’t a singular service in her salon either! Her name shouldn’t be Affordable Styles because you will spend between $75-$100 $100-$300 every time you set foot in there! I also don’t like how she talks bad and down about other stylist! As soon as I told her “well the only reason why I came to you was because my Godmother who does hair have a trip to go on the week when I scheduled” them she said “Well maybe because your hair isn’t shampooed and blow dried is the reason why she keeps making excuses on not to do your hair” I said “I live with my godmother and she def goes around to build her clientele in other cities and not just one” then Conquiella got mad and was like “Uhmph I’m not that kind of stylist” this women got a bad name going around about herself in Baltimore and I should of took heed when last year a stranger came up and said something negative about her too! She needs to remember that there are other stylist who are way more developed ! We don’t need to go to you to get our hair done!

This was my first time going here. It was a nice little salon and the people were nice. The most positive thing I can say about my hair was that the blow drying process was pretty much painless. This was done by another worker, not Consquilla. I was not told the price of my services (wash and press) until Consquilla had already started straightening my hair. The price was more than I expected ($65) after looking on the website and then she added $20 because my hair is thick (it's kind of thick but definitely not worth an extra $20) so $85 total. Once she was done, my hair was straight and it did look nice, but it definitely was not as straight as it usually gets with my other hair stylist. I assume it was a silk press but it definitely was not silky. When I got home I still had to use some force to get a comb through my hair which never happens after I get my hair done. I just got it straightened but it looks like I've had the style for 2 weeks now. She also offered to trim my hair for free which was nice... unfortunately, my hair is uneven. The cut was very crooked. Overall, this place may be good for other styles like weaves and such (I'm not sure), but for the price and the quality, I would not recommend for a 'silk press'.

I am pleased for the most part with the feel of my hair. However, I was not expecting not to have my hair styled even though that was the service I asked for. Flat ironing is not a style per say. Furthermore, I don't appreciate having to wait 30 minutes to receive service. My appointment was for 3pm and wasn't serviced until 3:30pm and I spent more than 3 hours in the shop and only received maybe 1-1/2 hours of service. Her time management skills need great improvement. You never mentioned you were done for the day but it doesn't change the fact that I scheduled an appointment for a specific time. You told your assistant to wash me after washing another customer but she went and sat on the couch and then you told her to color the woman's hair making me wait further. I could say more but I'll leave it right here. I will never return. Your response is unprofessional.

I drove a whole 40 mins to this "hair salon" but really a house. she told me the she would sew my hair in for $85 over the phone. When I got there she talking about $160. Just to sew the hair in no with no style. I said that not what you told me in the phone. She then tried to switch it up like oh I didn't explain me self well. I believe she just wanted to pay her more money because she was closing. I wish I could leave no stars but I guess you have to put one. DO NOT BELIEVE HER WHEN SHE SAYS SALE

I'm writing this feedback because I had a change of heart. I apologized to Consquilla for my reaction towards her, but I thought about the situation carefully on my way home. I realized I was not wrong for my action. I arrived 15 mins earlier for my appointment and I thought it will be fine to wait in the salon until she is ready. I was wrong she wouldn't allow me in the salon and I told her I didn't want to wait in the car because I was not familiar with this area. I was also told she was robbed in front of her salon. Unfortunately, I will not go back to her salon. FYI it was my second visit at the salon."

I purchased Brazilian body wave 18-20-22 n 16 closure... i used a jet black permanent dye and it dyed really well, and It kept its wave and texture . I LOVE IT! With the work i do im always on the run... ripping n running... and it stays in place and never frizzes as I go about my day.

The prices was really good, the place was clean and she’s great with time I literally had the rest of my day to go home and take care of my baby, I came thinking oh lord I’ll be here the whole day but nope she was quick and neat.
