Wonderful, organic experience. Owner, Betsy, is skilled, caring, & attentive to detail. I always leave there looking fabulous. Plus I know she used products good for me, safe for us, and great for the environment. On a side note, parking is easy unlike at many salons; and the back gardens are perfect for wedding photos. Check out this gem of a salon with spa services!

I have had the gift of having my hair done by Monica two times. I have crazy hair dreams of Bright red, silvers, blondes pretty much unattainable colors for my highly previously died hair. Monica has a great way of listening to what you want and explaining what would or wouldn't work for your hair in particular. I really appreciate this, as she could definitely say this or that might work, try, and then leave me unhappy in the end. Each time I was able to go to her I felt like I was in the safe hands of a professional who would help me. Also very luxurious feeling place. Offer coffee, tea, wine, beer. Love the sink area, and the hair wash was an experience in itself. Thank you Monica!

Monica was wonderful. She listened to me, the color was great and the cut was perfect. I would highly recommend Monica for your hair styling needs. The whole experience especially the scalp massage added to the great service i received Kayla also does my nails and her attention to detail and use of all natural products help keep my nails healthy. She is meticulous, the massage, manicure and pedicure are fantastic and it is a great, overall experience.

Really frustrating experience here with Monica. She has a nice personality but is a really BAD LISTENER. I told her Clearly and Explicitly NOT to cut my hair straight across and that she could cut an inch off. Left with it 6 INCHES shorter and cut in a straight line across my back. I had a friend with me who heard me clearly state what i did NOT WANT , and I left with the EXACT OPPOSITE of what I stated. I am extremely upset every time I look in the mirror. I will NEVER GO BACK. I will Never Recommend this place. Disappointed and disgusted as it will take a few years to get back the length and shape.

Monica has been cutting my hair for years and I always love the results. During my past couple of visits she has added beautiful purple and turquoise streaks. I told her I didn't want them to be very obvious and she did just enough that I can show them off or keep them hidden when I need to be more professional. I definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a good stylist.

I’ve been getting massages from Kate at Organic Roots monthly for about a year and a half now. She is an amazing massage therapist who’s added a vital component to what is now a routine aspect of my healthcare. The salon itself is a welcoming environment with offerings of tea and water as you enter and kind people available if you have questions about products or services. It’s in a beautiful old house so it doesn’t feel institutional in any way and I always leave looking forward to my next appointment.
