This is the letter I wrote to them on Aug 4th. Until now no area manager or anyone in charge has responded despite being promised we will get contacted by one.
"Im writing to report my experience at Supercuts in Slidell,LA (Corp Square on Gause blvd), hoping that a manager or someone in charge or at a corporate level be able to address my complaint since there was no manager at the time of service at that location.
First of all, I have absolutely no complaints about the stylist because - was great.
My complaint is the tremendous inconvenience this location has caused us more than once.
The first time I went there, I got Dustin and because of the fantastic job he did, I decided to come back to get my kids haircut.
The second time we went, as we were paying , we were informed that the location does not accept Supercuts gift card due to an equipment issue. So we had to pay using a different method and funds that were allocated for something eLse.
Today, months after that 2nd visit, we still have this gift card and our kids needed a haircut again. So to be sure, I called the location yesterday. It was verified to me by the person I talked to that the Supercuts gift card was accepted and that it will work. I even had to make sure that she understood I'm talking specifically about the Supercuts gc, and she even asked someone else just to be sure, and that person said yes as well. We come in today and my husband asks again if they take the gift card before anything else. He was told yes. After our kids got their haircut, as my husband was paying, it turns out the Supercuts gc is not going to bd accepted, YET AGAIN. And again, we had to cover this expense using a different form of payment with funds allotted for something else. I don't understand why we have to be inconvenienced for a fault from your end.
If you were in my shoes, as a customer, I'm sure you will agree that this is unacceptable. I did my part by verifying info before getting services done. The store shouldn't even have issues taking store gift cards to begin with. But like I said, I did my part, and I believe something needs to be done on Supercuts' part. We will accept either a full refund for the services rendered, or your store can buy the $20 Supercuts gift card that I have since it doesn't seem to be something I can ever make use of."
