This was my first time in. I was disappointed that the information I sent in, as recommended via their website with head shots and styles I liked, was not passed on to the stylist. Cayman was my hairstylist and she did a wonderful job listening to my likes and dislikes. She also explained her suggestions for a cut and products she was going to use in styling. The head massage before and during the wash was so relaxing. Cayman gave me a cut that really suited me. I liked it so much that, before leaving, I scheduled my next visit. Normally when I go to a salon, I end up going home to reshape my hair the way I like to wear it. Not this time. I went on to run errands. One other downside was that I found the hair products to be a bit expensive but the cost of the cut was in line with that listed on the website. Thanks again Caymen.

My experience was amazing. I probably cut around 16-20 inches off, was asked to donate it, and was completely comfortable and confident I was in good hands. The staff was very friendly and even allowed my son to the back with me, offered us both something to drink, and chatted comfortably. I left with beautiful bouncy hair, exactly what I wanted. My mom and I are new in town (in the state, actually!!) and needed a hair salon to try. We followed the great reviews to Robert M's and were glad we did. My mom is elderly and doesn't do much anymore so I set her up a cut with Robert to make her feel a little more special while she was there....it's the first time she has ever left a salon saying "he did exactly what I wanted from the picture I showed him.". This is a cantankerous old woman and not one to sugarcoat anything at this point in life. She enjoyed the hair washing by his "assistant" and also the fact that she was the one who did the blow drying, etc, after Robert was done with her cut. She got a taste of a little bit of glam down here in southern Louisiana! I could hear Robert talking to my mom during her cut from where I was and he interacted with her and got her to laugh a few times. I like this fella. I appreciated him treating her like some sort of socialite even tho we are farthest things from it! I saw Lori who is a color specialist. All she does is color so she's not just called a specialist because she's the one who orders & picks up the colors from Sally's Beauty Salon. I'm going toward a pretty dramatic hair color change and was very pleased with the non-rushed consultation beforehand and then a patch test a few days later to see how my hair would lighten up. We girls all know the disasters of a bad color at a salon so the fact that she has spent time on me before the big color day is quite reassuring. I might add that she did not charge me for either appt. Mom and I thought we'd have to try a few places before we found our new salon but we are both happy with Robert M's and will be going back. Now if only the nail salons were this good!! (We are on our 3rd nail salon!)

She had researched local salons that were familiar with make up for all skin types, including Asian women. The entire wedding party was very pleased with their hairstyles and beautiful makeup. So this is the first time I've been here right, it's 7:45 AM on a Friday. I walk in and ask if they can squeeze me in, to my surprise they not obliged and put me in on the spot, but also provided me with a fresh cup of coffee & a complimentary coffee mug! They washed my hair before it was cut, and placed a hot towel on my face while I had a scalp massage. Then after my haircut they washed it again and styled it with the product of my choice! The staff was awesome, respectful, and professional. I'll definitely be coming back to Robert M's. They're top notch in my book.
