Everything here is just impressive. Even though they prefer that you make appointments, I was able to get walk-in service both times I've been there. Every visit is met with free coffee and water, great service, a relaxing scalp massage, and eventually a sexy haircut. Would recommend to anyone in Lafayette.

I walked into Mon Reve Aveda Salon in Lafayette, LA looking for a quality haircut. I was just passing through town as a tourist. Nicole arranged an appointment for me on short notice and she gave me an excellent, stylish and professional haircut. I also got the botanical replenishing hair treatment, since I had been outdoors hiking and swimming for some time. I found the salon to be welcoming, professional and the stylists are attentive to customers’ needs. The stylists also seem very knowledgeable about the Aveda products. I highly recommend Mon Reve Aveda Salon.

I have tricky hair, and I've found that over the years very few know how to cut guys' longer hair to look somewhat wild and free but still sharp and aesthetic. Nicole has been able to get exactly what I'm going for each and every time I've gotten my haircut with her. She's an artist at heart, a top-level hair stylist, and a great business owner. I had such a great experience here today. Stacy gave me a balayage and hair cut that makes me feel soo nice! I've already had 6 compliments on my new hair, and I literally just left the salon. My hair is very dry, and I also received a botanical treatment that made my hair feel silky and soft. Thank you! Can't wait to come back :)

This place could be really nice if the owner and her staff were more professional. I have no complaints about the way that they cut hair but they have a very superior air when it comes to who they think they are. While I was getting my hair done they proceeded to talk trash about other customers and then about people they knew. This kind of behavior is unattractive to customers.

Excellent experience. I have cut my own hair for years because of my mistrust in stylists. Andie did an awesome job giving me layers and bangs. She was hospitable, accommodating and friendly without being overbearing. She didn't pry (like some stylists tend to elsewhere) and she gave polite advice that really helped inform my decision! Additionally, the space was cozy and more personal than most salons. They offered tea and water at the beginning and it was just generally excellent. If you're looking for an awesome place with consistent professionalism and expertise, look no further. (I'm going back asap for a facial and massage, which I have heard are also great).

I had wonderful experience at Mon Rêve salon. I called with no more than a weeks notice and they were able to take four hair styling appointments in a row prior to an evening wedding. The stylists were friendly and prompt. My boyfriend’s mother and grandmother loved the extra touches of their wash and styles, which included a massage and hot towel. An added plus was that my curls stayed all night!

This was by far the WORST salon experience I have ever encountered! I went in for a trim, I wanted to cut off about an inch. I explicitly explained to the stylist, GIANNI that I only wanted a TRIM; I showed him on my hair Exactly how much I wanted him to cut off, while telling him Multiple times I want to keep my hair the same length and I only wanted to trim it. I did notice as I was explaining to him what I wanted, his body language was as though I was insulting him. I tried to brush it off and just thought maybe that is just his "personality." This experience took a horrific turn for the worst when GIANNI began to cut 4 INCH pieces of hair off of the back section of my hair!!! I was MORTIFIED!!! All GIANNI said was "it will be fine, it will still be long" I was completely appalled that he said that, to make the situation worse, he sat there with a smug attitude acting as though I was saying something wrong. I immediately took off the cape & was going to leave the salon with wet hair, but I was convinced to have my hair dried, Not by GIANNI! I sat there as my hair was dried and looked into the mirror; my eyes were red, filling with tears over this entire horrifying situation. I have long hair and I wanted to keep my length, I thoroughly and clearly explained what I wanted, there was absolutely no reason this should have ever happened. It is not GIANNI's choice to decide how much he wants to cut off of my hair.
