Happy Hair has the best owners, professional stylists, and team of assistants. If you thought they were just the best at flat ironing natural hair think again. Their stylists specialize in all natural styles, I've also seen Relaxed clients leave Happy!! This salon is the best Baton Rouge has to offer hands down!!! And their new location in Drusilla Village is bigger and better!

I wouldn't recommend this hair salon for naturals. They only want to put heat in your hair. If you aren't getting your hair flatironed or relaxed you don't have many options for a stylist. The stylist I had for my last appointment caught an attitude with me because I didn't want her to blow dry my hair. I wanted her to detangle my hair and put me under the hair dryer. My appointment was at 1pm. She left me under the hairdryer and started taking other patients to be spiteful. I didn't leave until 9pm. Ridiculous for a flatiron!! I won't be going back. Tried calling the manager. leaving messages with the girl who answers the salon phone and was never called back. If you try to voice your opinion in this salon you will be rejected instead of heard. BAD customer service and very expensive.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Happy Hair. The salon has a relaxed atmosphere and everyone was pleasant. Ms. Nadia knew how to work well with my hair (thoroughly detangled, deep conditioned, and properly trimmed) and for the first time in a while I left a salon, actually looking like I went to the salon. I will be back!
