A good cut. I'm not mad. Price is inline with other higher quality salons for a men's cut... maybe a little cheaper. I think I'll go back. Shea did my hair, and she listened well to what I wanted and we got about as good as it'll get, honestly. I'll probably ask for her again, but I'm really not that picky with my hair.

I arrived 10 minutes ahead of my appointment time, out of respect for the stylist's time. Unfortunately, that respect was not reciprocated. I waited in the reception area for an hour past my appointment time before getting up and leaving, due to my time constraints and personal frustration. Will NEVER go back.

I am sharing this post not regarding work to Catty Shack but work of an employee by the name of Amanda Gambino that works there. I went and got work done from her at another salon. I was looking to get a balayage done however what I got was just my hair bleached all out not once but twice. I gave her the opportunity to fix my hair and she wanted me to go in for a third visit. Mind you I already had paid $175 cash for first visit and $160 for second visit and still no where near where I needed to be. She allowed me to go leave her salon with my hair looking like this! It was so orange and just looked like one of those cheap services done at home. She calls herself the color queen and actually copies other people pictures of work from social media claiming it as her own work. That was only reason why I went to her because I thought that was work of her.come to find out she stole it from the internet. I asked for refunds and at first she said she would refund me then she started being real childish about it saying shes pregnant and sick and cant do this or that and I'm stressing her out! I also had to get my hair cut 5inches removed of dead hair that was so bad damaged it was falling off in the shower! I would never recommend her work to anyone and where she work people need to know that shes just in it for the money. Shes not there to take care of her clients maybe the few she does but that's work for people who want cheap work but pay a higher price. I also got two messages by random people that I have never net claiming that she ruined and messed up their hair as well and they sent me photos. I have tried taking her to court but she no showed. So I filed a claim with the cosmetology department here in Louisiana to revoke her license and currently still working on getting her wages garnished. For payment and punitive damages. I've given her the opportunity to fix this and she still continues to hide and ignore me. DO NOT GO TO HER SERVICE! WHAT SHE CHARGED NE I WAS ABLE TO GET MY HAIR FULLY DONE PROPERLY FOR THAT PRICE THREE SEPARATE VISITS. A GREAT BALAYAGE COST $135$145 NO MORE THAN THAT AND I CAN REFER TO A GREAT HAIRDRESSER THAT HAD TO FIX THAT HORRIBLE WORK AMANDA DID TO MY HAIR. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW HOW BADLY SHE DOES HAIR...My hair is still recovering from the damage she caused I'm still trying to get that brassy orange out of my hair but have to work on it slowly. It's now cost me over $900 just to fix the damage she has done. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HER TOUCHING YOU HAIR.

Horrible service! Arrived at 3:58 for a 4:00 and 4:45 appt for my son and I. The girl my appt was with took a woman right after we walked in. We waited until 5:10. Not one staff member spoke to us. Finally realized that she was coloring this woman's hair so we left. Still not one word from anyone in the place. Not to mention the owner was there the entire time.. horrible service and will let everyone I know of my experience. First time I've ever written a bad review on anyone.

The cuts are great but there is no timing. The website says the wrong hours, the people are not on schedule, they eat while you wait in the chair, and it is just an over all experience especially when you have a schedule and not a lot of money. I paid way more then any other place for my haircut.

I usually call and an able to get same day appointments, I've used several different stylist and have never left with a bad cut. The staff is very friendly and the prices for adult cuts are reasonable.
