Trang is a little rough with your hands, I think, but she does an excellent job and she is very skilled and can pull out a fierce Mani in very little time. Leigh does my hair and nails most of the time and she is awesome. She takes her time and makes sure she gives you exactly what you want. She's a little slower than most, but I don't mind because she gets it exactly right every time: she understands that you can't put hair back. Plus, she is a great conversationalist, so it's not just miserable sitting up there. If I weren't going to Leigh I would recommend Tina for color, Jess for a cut, and Whitney for the eyebrows. They are all very good all around, but everyone has their subspecialty, and that is true for any hairdresser on the planet. Also, they are all very nice women. Forthright, but nice and very personable. The only people I see giving negative reviews I happen to know, and they are rich, privileged, and have more money than God. Never listen to the opinion of a couple of snobs.

I went all over Murray looking for a good men's haircut that wasn't just some girl with a pair of clippers claiming to be able to do one. Jessica at Illusions did and continues to do a GREAT job on my hair. If you're looking for a great cut from a pretty girl at a good price, this is the place to go.

I made an appointment for 5:15, got there around 5 and it was around 5:20 before anyone asked me what I needed. I explained I had an appointment and was told they'd be right with me. I waited until after 6 and they then told me, over an hour after I got there, that I wouldn't be able to get my hair cut today. Terrible service, terrible attitudes, so unorganized and a complete waste of my time. I will definitely not be going back.

Tina at Illusions, one of the few stylist in Murray who can can do ethnic hair. Always run to her when I can't get to my regular stylist who is 20 mi away and she does a fab job.
