I just went to this salon for the first time the yesterday, after rocking a buzzed pixie cut and growing it out I'm trying to grow my hair out as long as possible, and it was high time to get my ends trimmed. I usually just go to great cuts or simply clips or whatever those generic quick cut places are but after several bad hair cuts ( I suspect they use dull scissors) I resigned myself that unless youtube (cringe here) taught me to decently cut my own hair (oh the trainwreck failure of 5 y.o me all over again) I was just going to have to go to a salon. After reading reviews about hair lovin I decided it was simply "just a trim" and what could go wrong? So I scheduled to pop in after work one day. Dana is very sweet and warm, and I think that is who she is as a person not just a salon persona if that makes sense.
Anywho, Kelsey/Kelcie was my stylist and she did good my hair looked great and more importantly she didn't take too much off. We chatted a little bit, not that I'm much of a chatter to begin with but also there was a guy next to me and I was more intrigued with buzz cut playoff beard than chatting, although he was more interested in his phone than chatting. I have a wig that is blonde that I think will end up at hair loving to go icy white for 2020! It's kinda odd because I'm a simple girl with hair that I don't fuss or muss with, I comb it and go. No product, no heat, and try to style it protectively as much as possible, but I'm looking forward to my next visit at hair lovin.
